REPOST - Get The Mainstream Media's Attention! BOYCOTT THEIR ADVERTISERS!
Submitted by Quelewenski on Tue, 03/06/2012 - 02:38I have been thinking about how we can get our voices heard in a very DRAMATIC WAY! It is getting frustrating to hear about these RON PAUL blackouts in the media. This idea came to mind.
TV Stations live for advertisements dollars. A way to get the Main Stream Media's attention is to boycott their clients who advertise on their stations. You could even call / email the company advertising on the station and let them know that they will be boycotted if the station they are advertising on does not begin to give RON PAUL much more publicity and air time than what he is receiving to get his message out.
A list can be made public of the advertisers and posted online. That would be helpful for all who want to participate. A specific day chosen to maximize the effect would be great too.
This would get the individual advertisers where it hurts the most (THE POCKETBOOK) and then THEY could strong arm the stations on our behalf and insist that RON PAUL's (who speaks our message) voice gets heard LOUD AND CLEAR.

It would be pretty great if someone with a little computer savvy could put together a list of email address' that can be emailed in bulk with a signed letter of protest. While things like this do seem a bit petty at first glance, enough complaints can certainly sway an advertiser (see Rush)

Our live coverage is very limited due to the high cost. Our first event cost us just under 5,000. To date, re have raised 1/5th of that cost. So it may be quite some time before we are able to do another LIVE event. We have people in place to provide the coverage but the cost is prohibitive at the moment. As we are completely volunteer, it takes some time to build up the funds for the next event.
I do hope you understand that if we aren't LIVE enough its not because of a lack of desire.
We will continue to plan and develop and hope we can find a way to raise the finance faster.

Can someone with know how
Can someone with know how put up a YouTube how Paul is being completely ignored, calling the stations out by name? Then we can tweet, email and blog it with the boycott message.
Until I hear Paul legitimately being covered I am no longer watching ANY channel, tv OR radio.

We need to inform the sleeping masses that rely solely on the mass media that blacks out Ron Paul or spins his message.

These flyers can change minds even 10 minutes before voting takes place.
