My Dad's FB post after he finally converted to RP!

I've been working on converting my dad for a solid two months and FINALLY got to him. It took dozens of Youtube videos and heated debates on foreign policy but he came around! Here is his post-

My dad : I'm now ready to say for the first time..... I plan to vote for Ron Paul. I don't like any of the choices but Ron Paul represents the only chance for a change. Gingrich was forced to step down by his own party due to ethical problems. Santorum has never held a private job so he is about like Obama. Romney started the health care plan that Obama used to form Obama care and Romney is too liberal for my taste.
I guess Tyler finally won me over. 2 months ago I said there was no way I would ever vote for Ron Paul...lol

I know it's an old post

but thanks for resurfacing it.

It encourages me to see the boomer (and earlier) generations finally understand - using the exact logic your dad did.

I especially appreciate his comment about Gingrich - for we older folk who remember the controversy surrounding him - it was mind blowing that he was in the 2012 race - you can imagine my incredulity when he won my home state, SC. Ugh...

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

Unfortunately Ron Paul is not running.

Just saying

Ya I think all day and wish Ron Paul would run

Unfortunately he wont there for I have 2 choices 1 don't vote or 2 vote....I will probably vote for Rand Paul. I like keeping it in the family.

did you vote in your state?

did you vote in your state? if not then it has a net zero effect.

Post from 3/6/12

Why did you ask a question to this poster in such an old post? Did you realize this was the OP's last post here and hasn't posted since? Just curious? lol

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

strange indeed

it's like having a big house party and finding somebody in the broom closet.

"what are you doing in there? the party's out here..."

Noticed a lot of it lately

It has been happening a lot lately. lol

Me too. Why are all these old posts popping up? Is there not enough content being posted? Are they trying to perhaps remind us of the good ol' days? Why?

Awesome work!!

What a GREAT feeling that must be. Congrats :-)
I remember beating my Dad in Risk for the first time. It was a great feeling, except for the fact that he never played me again...

NO MORE LIES. Ron Paul 2012.

This is why we're not winning

It takes two months of solid work for a son to get his own Dad to wake up.

What hope do we have with people who don't have anyone like that and rely on the MSM for their news?

So depressing.

That Is How We Win

Not with protests, not by complaining about fraud, but by changing minds one voter at a time. It may be painfully slow, but it is the only way.

It's time to wake up Dad!.....
