ATTENTION: Other than taking 1st, the scenario is playing out perfectly!

To all of the Ron Paul supporters around the country, other than taking each state with a 1st place, all the pieces are falling in place for a brokered convention.

It is looking as if there will not be enough first round votes to take the GOP nomination, so then all of you Ron Paul supporters that have clawed your way to those delegate spots in place of Romney, Santorum and Gingrich supporters, you will be free to vote.

This is Paul's strategy and it's falling perfectly into place.

Keep it up, keep pushing, we will do this.

I dont know if anyone else has

seen this yet, or if it is even posted here. This is a great assessment of where we are at right now, we need to just keep on getting the delegates....

Ron Paul

Im an 18 year old boy, i've just recently started to learn about politics, but i still have the common sense to see that Ron Paul is the perfect leader for this nation that so desperately need help. Im so new to this and am learning so much but if I, an 18 year old starting into manhood can see that Ron Paul has the capability to turn this nation around and make our founding fathers proud if they could see the progress he could make, then i believe we can change the views of people around us, please try to educate more and more people about Ron Paul. I believe we can do this..

Stalin

Just as a point of interest it is 99.9% certain that Stalin never said "it is not who votes that counts, it is he who counts the votes that counts".
He had no need of it.
The saying is undoubtedly true.

And it is easy to see how easily people are taken in by propaganda.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

WA State NULL AND VOID - RULES were NOT followed at caucuses

Having attended my pooled precinct caucus Mar 3rd, I saw first hand how things WERE NOT DONE CORRECTLY.

I spoke with pwople in 4 other caucuses and the way they "elected" delegates and conducted business should make the Washington State Caucuses NULL AND VOID.

Many delegates were elected with NO PAPER VOTE. It was often done verbally based on the consesus of the individuals in each precinct.

Basically, MOST people have NO IDEA of caucus protocol. Many precincts had no PCO so they just had someone run the show with no idea how to proceed.

I find the majority of Ron Paul supporters were more knowledgeable about procedure.

But how many delegates did Romney get improperly when no knowledgeable person was at that precinct table?

Also in the city of Port Townsend WA a straw poll total was announced. Ron Paul had 25 votes to Romney's 15.

Later, my friend (who was there and SAW that result) found out that the count was changed to 20 for Paul and 12 for Romney resulting in a 2 vote NET GAIN for Romney.

WHAT'S GOIN ON HERE

He is trying to get answers on this with no success so far.

AS JOSEPH STALIN SAID: "It's not who votes that counts - It's who counts the votes."

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

Cowlitz County

My precinct had 7 Ron Paul supporters and 6 Romney. We nominated 5 paul supporters (the other two wouldn't commit to being a delegate). The PCO, who was a Romney supporter, nominated a Romney supporter in absentia. We had a few minutes left before the deadline so rather than nominating a Ron Paul supporter in absentia we let the nominations close. No vote was necessary and we quickly nominated 1 alternate and then another (the 2 Paul supporters who didn't want to be delegates). We had no time-consuming paper ballots that way. The problem was that the party was ill-prepared to process the number of people who showed up. I think this was deliberate because at first there were three check in lines and after 20 minutes, they closed one line. I was one of the first to check in but when I got to the caucusing area there were scores of Romney supporters already seated (elderly). I was sweating it at my precinct until the Paul supporters (blue republicans) trickled in at the last minute. Fortunately, none were turned away as at other counties in WA.

Also, the elderly Romney supporters were more than happy to let us middle-aged Paul supporters be delegates. So, it's a mixed bag. No complaints. I monitored the tally and it was done openly and accurately.

Lets stay optimistic

But let's be realistic too

This thing can be done - put Ron Paul in WH - but is a tough ask

Most things being done well
Some things need to change to get it done.
And we still need more boots on the ground.
And we need to get out the young vote better.
And we need to target the least brainwashed. Indies and Young Guns.
Have a team of drivers to drive peeps to the polls.Hire a few minbuses if you have to. Go to the college campus and pick them all up.

Most of the electorate are ignorant, brainwashed, apathetic and not that interested in politics.
They are not like us.
They are not idealists either.
So lets get practical.

Let's not kid ourselves.
Virginia - terrible result.
Idaho - terrible result.
Oklahoma - terrible result.
21 delegates Super Tuesday out of over 400 - terrible result.

The one thing we are not on at this moment in time - is on course.
Caucus states run out end of March, then it is all primaries (except small partial caucus Louisiana in April).
Campaign team need to sit down and have a serious think - and so does Ron Paul
Things have got to be changed. But it wouldn't take much.
Keep repeating liberty and he has no chance.
Keep repeating END THE IRS and he most certainly does.

Here's my starter for 10.
My top 7 reasons to vote for Ron Paul - to attract new converts.
http://ian56.blogspot.com/2012/02/ron-pauls-case-for-nominee.html#!/2012/02/ron-pauls-case-for-nominee.html

Liberty, freedom, end the wars, bring the troops home and end the Fed do not appear.
And with very good reason.
They are the next stage reasons - once you have got a bite.

Got another 20 or 30 suggestions to improve overall campaign.
Perhaps 10 of significance - others less so.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

My sister and brother in law became delegates

in Alaska last night and paid the $250 fee each to go to
state convention and will pay the $3000 fee to go to
national if elected. That's dedication!I am a Washington delegate,my husband is a delegate although he works out of town every week.My daughter is a delegate and although she is young, she ran her caucus because noone showed up to do it.
Most of my friends are delegates.Win or lose,we are in this to the end!The Republican Party would just love to see us go away. This is WAR,they haven't seen anything yet!The National convention will be a battle ground!

Let's keep filling those

Let's keep filling those delegates slots!

Voter Fraud

Who counts the votes? computers
Who programs the computers? ???
Who owns and builds the computers ....

"Why am I always being asked to prove these systems aren't secure? The burden of proof ought to be on the vendor. You ask about the hardware. 'Secret.' The software? 'Secret.' What's the cryptography? 'Can't tell you because that'll compromise the secrecy of the machines.'... Federal testing procedures? 'Secret'! Results of the tests? 'Secret'! Basically we are required to have blind faith."

COME ON PEOPLE....You've got to wake up and DEMAND HONEST VOTE COUNTS.

Calling vore fraud after

Calling vore fraud after every single loss is embarrassing and needs to stop. We looks like Rick Santorum sore losers... if it really happened is anyone actually surprised? It's far too late to do anything about it now... if it didn't we just lost and need to deal with it instead of looking like nut cases every time something doesn't go our way.

Calling the Truth

Since when is speaking the truth wrong....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RU24M72TtM&feature=colike

???

How are you a Nutcase by poiting out a blatently obvious truth?

Anyone who doesnt believe that fraud is taking place is either a Nutcase, or ignorant to, well nearly everything.

comment from the humble libertarian

Remember people, the fact that Santorum did so well tonight means all 4 will remain in the race. Gingrich won't leave yet. Santorum has no reason to leave either. Mitt surely won't leave. So the delegates will remain divided making it nearly impossible for any of them to reach 1144. Romney had a bad night considering all of the money spent and his front runner status, plus Santorum has zero organization and Newt's campaign is crumbling. Last night only increases the prospects of a brokered convention - that was ALWAYS Ron Paul's best chance.

Keep in mind, the more split the vote is, the better for Ron Paul. Aside from the GOP screwing him out of the beauty contests, things are going perfectly. There's no reason to be discouraged if Santorum and Gingrich flounder on a bit longer. Because what we should fear is either Santorum and Gingrich dropping out to endorse Romney.

Any of us who are under any

Any of us who are under any sort of delusion and think the GOP is somehow going to stand by at the convention and let Ron use the rules to secure the nomination needs to step back in to the real world now.

After all the shennanigans with the caucuses, and all the issues for you to foolishly think he'll somehow become the nominee at the convention that's ridiculous. He won't be the GOP nominee, he had to hope to win some states early, knock out Santorum & Gingrich and get some momentum. It hasn't happened, it's been a huge disappointment.

I don't get how anyone in their right mind can still think they will sit idly by and watch him gain the nomination in Tampa.

Of course this will be voted down, and I'll be called a plant or a troll or something while everyone votes up the OP and the ridiculous, fantasy land fluff he'd putting out.

I'm not abandoning Paul ever, even after he drops out I'll write him in if need be, but I'm also a realist.

Washington surrenders...

Hurricanepaul, I'm not sure what kind of supporter you are, you may even share the same goals and ideals as other liberty and freedom lovers; however, it certainly takes courage, confidence and an attitude other than what you have spewed forth. I am sure if George Washington had the same type of belief and faith as yourself, he might just as well have folded and surrendered to the Britsh and all of this would be a moot point.

My advice, repent, resist and organize.

RON PAUL is GOING TO WIN THIS!!! LIke it or LUMP IT!!!

You have to be "THE" worse Ron Paul supporter I've ever seen. I think you should just write yourself emails and keep your negative, loser talk to yourself. Ron Paul will WIN this, whether you like it or not.

The GOP won't just stand by, it will be WAR at the CONVENTION, but Ron Paul's Army will prevail, all their election fraud will be for nothing. The people are with Paul.

Nope - you are 180 degrees wrong

The ONLY chance Ron Paul ever had was to take it to the convention. And this the campaign team set out to do - right from the start.
Getting to the convention is not enough in itself.
There are going to be some interesting weeks between June 5th and August 27th.

My thoughts on the matter
http://ian56.blogspot.com/2012/02/ron-pauls-end-game.html#!/2012/02/ron-pauls-end-game.html

For myself, I am surprised that GOP elite haven't been smarter with dirty tricks. I expected more media bias and vote rigging etc.
For sure they will not give up power easily.
But they have painted themselves into a corner for the last 100 years or more. Ordinary peeps think there is a 2 party system.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

The only Delusion is that

The only Delusion is that the GOP thinks Ron Paul delegates won't hijack the convention! You can coverup election fraud, but it's really hard to do it when the voters are present and filled with passion. All I can say is I hope the GOP has riot police on standby if their planning on throwing the convention for Romney.

"Give me liberty or give me death" Patrick Henry

RP Delegates, we've got your back!

The GOP will need more than riot police in Tampa if they try to pull a fast one because the Troops for Ron Paul will be in formation at the ready and standing tall for the world to see much like D.C. on Feb. 20th.
Listen people, we have nowhere to retreat to we must stand and fight these corrupt bastards and I can't think of a better place. Have courage my fellow countrymen and never forget that you belong to a long proud lineage of freedom fighters, onward to liberty and may God bless our cause.

remember, Dr. Paul is driving

remember, Dr. Paul is driving a movement, not a candidate. This movement has been a decade in the making. It may take longer still to start exerting a controlling influence on the GOP. But we in this movement running for Precinct Committee positions, and delegate slots are in it for the long haul. And that means years of constant work, not a lot of work every 4 years.

Now or NEVER

It will be too late in 2016 to turn it around.
Europe will have blown up.
US will be an economic basket case.
Social unrest will have started.

There has got to be major change now or it is too late.
Last chance.
It really bugs me that even Ron Paul supporters don't get the seriousness of the situation.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

I do

It is very serious this is it. Ron Paul or no one at all!!!!!!!!!!!

Enough already 'Tokyo Rose'... you have abandoned Paul already!

Enough of the ignorant Tokyo Rose ranting!

It sounds childish when you do not pay attention to what Paul has been saying all along! Furthermore, you ignore the original post under whose heading you have replied. You did not reply... it is a childish rant!

Pay attention to the real world of elections and how to win!

No soldier ever got to the top of the hill with an escalator, elevator, or chair lift! They got to the top by following rules of warfare, rules of reality and life which directly apply to the battle at hand. They got to the top through the blood and sweat of their noble comrades, and some of their own!

Letting your emotions get the best of you, falling into a nervous breakdown and throwing your hands into the air in complete hopelessness is not a sign of wisdom or maturity, but a sign of lack of preparation. It shows blindness to the process, and not paying attention to Dr. Paul himself when he repeatedly exhorts the troops to follow the process, focus on the goals at hand and the steps to achieve them!

On the other hand, maybe you are a party hack foolishly using the old, worn out 'Tokyo Rose' blather, unaware that such noise from scrambled brains has little effect upon Ron Paul patriots!

They are focused. They are already preparing for the conventions coming to a venue near you, throughout the nation, county by county! They are already well underway to converting the Santorum fearful, the Romney foolish, and the Gingrich dummies! They are converting them over to constitutional supporting convention delegates who will rise up in the coming months and select true Ron Paul delegates for Tampa!

So, your rant is too late! We do not hear you! Our resources are not only precious, they are fully committed.

Your attempts will fall not only on deaf ears, but on few, since most of us are not on DP blathering and slobbering over the emotional stress brought on by watching cable news... we turned that off years ago! We have no need of analgesics and anti-depressants! That is the poison of choice for the ill effects of CNN disease; for MSNBC and FAUX news 'virus'!

So go away blather,
nay-Sayers go to sleep!
I'm rocking for my President,
and President Paul is for keeps!

Maybe

We may or may not win, but even if we don't, the GOP will be under no illusions as to which direction the party needs to move if it wants to survive. We continue taking over the GOP county by county.

You hit the nail on the head,

You hit the nail on the head, it's taking over the GOP on the country level if we want to continue to work inside the GOP.

The amount of comments from people saying they've never met a Romney, Gingrich or Santorum supporter just shows how far we have to go on that front.

We're clearly not involved because those people are the uninformed, neo-con base that makes up local GOP parties. If you'd been involved you'd have seen them, those people exist, in droves, and they're all over 55.

I used to get annoyed when people said we spend too much time behind the keyboard but it's true.

Very good point

That's an excellent point. Anyone who says they have not met a supporter of one of the other GOP candidates clearly is not involved. That's how we have to win...by interacting with these people, many/most of whom are good people but are under-informed, and showing them a better way.

Ron Paul is the smartest man!!

He probably knew the GOP was going to try to sabotage votes for him by the shenanigans and dirty tactics the GOP employes to discredit him and discourage his supporters. That's why Ron Paul has been pushing the fight for delegates and the above strategy. It is amazing that he can see so far ahead and plan accordingly. America really needs you to be President, Dr. Paul. The more I see your work, the more I am amazed by your wisdom and uncanny vision.

Kimmie

A toss up

Going by the MSM numbers on this, it's about a 50/50 chance of an open convention.
So far, again by the MSM delegate numbers, Romney has a little more than 50% of the delegates so far. Assuming he continues that track record through the rest of March, he'll still need somewhere between 500-550 delegates in April and beyond (when it goes to winner-take-all). That is about 50% of the delegates that will be available - so that's not looking too good for us.

What we have in our favor is the fact that the MSM numbers are currently wrong - we have more delegates than they know, and Romney has less. But we've got a lot working against us - Gingrich and Santorum will have to look at the numbers at some point and they'll know they can't get the 1,144 for the nomination - so they'll have to decide to either drop out or fight it out also in hopes of an open convention (which hopefully they'll choose to do, cuz if they don't Romney could lock it up). My guess is that Gingrich would drop out, and my hope is that Santorum stays in.

Overall, I don't think it's looking all that great. A lot hinges on the outcome of California and Texas, really. Hopefully Texas goes our way because of home state advantage, and California as well with their civil liberties concerns. If that's happens then we're sitting pretty.
