Okay, I'm going to be honest here; I'm getting burnt out...

I've been on the road for 6+ months promoting the causes of Liberty. A lot of that time has been amazing. It has been hard, but has all been worth it.

With that said, I am now in Philly. I've been Couch Surfing for months, trekking across cities every few days to stay at a new place.

I've been away from home (granted my choice) for half a year.

I'm exhausted.

There are groups I meet that give me a boost, there are groups that require a lot of energy from me (and sometimes feel like I'm getting no where).

Also, I just looked at my bank account and it's getting close to zero. I need to keep enough to pay my phone bill this month and my web hosting fees. There is enough in my account for that, $15 in my pocket and a about an ounce of silver in my bag I can sell. I also have $25 transferring to my account that a friend back home "chipped-in."

I have 5 weeks left until my flight back to California. Once I'm back I have Gold and Silver stashed, and a tax return to take care of. I should be fine once I get home, but right now I'm really burnt out and nearing the last of my funds.

I want to keep going strong through Philly, and the 10 days I'll be in D.C. There is nothing I can do about my exhaustion but sleep and attend some meditation groups (did so Monday night).

What I can do to make the next 5 weeks bearable is to raise more money. I could dumpster dive for food, do some medical studies for cash, and lobby the movement for some financial love (or at least, support for my writing).

That's what I am asking you all.

I know this has been rough, Super Tuesday was not so Super, we've all put a lot into this; but I am asking for your help; just $5 to my chip-in, perhaps grab an article from my website and spread it to your friends, buy some silver/gold from my sponsor, something... Really, I need some fiscal loving right now. I need to sleep (just trekked the city to get to my new couch host). I have a meeting tonight with some progressives that were active in outing Santorum, they may easily be talked into voting for Paul to keep Santorum from winning PA. I'm going to stand in front of the Liberty Bell on Saturday and hand out super brochures and register voters. I have about 10 other meetings lined up for the month. I'll be in D.C. for the day of their Primary. I still have work left to do. Then I'll be back in California where we can still win.

Any help is appreciated. Many of you have already given me money in the past and I appreciate that. We can still Win, if we keep doing what we do best; support the community.

I really wish I could put in some money but unfortunately I am barely holding my nose abover water and I need to pay my way to the state convention in April. The people like you that are putting their feet to the ground for this campaign are so important to liberty and we all appreciate your actions. What a great life story!

I actually had housing down ( http://couchsurfing.org ), it was food and transportation that was hitting me (and phone, web hosting). I got covered pretty well (can always use more help! http://jaktober.chipin.com/the-free-independent-sun-spring )

Strange though, I didn't meet a single Ron Paul activist in Philly. I posted my canvassing days on the meet-up, sent emails to the group, etc. Never heard/met anyone.

I am heading to D.C. tonight, will be there for 10 days. Need to locate some activist as their Primary is on Tuesday; I at least want to get a sign and find a polling location to wave it at. After that I'll have a week until I return to Cali.

don't forget you can probably hit up some churches for food also along the way, and I know Panera Bread gives away all it's leftover bread, bagels, etc., at the end of the day, you should be able to find one of them around, I think they are national. I was able to gather a decent amount of money from all the great supporters on this website. I'm waiting on a check that should make sure I'm covered for the necessities of my trip.

I have 4 days left on this chip-in though; and any additional contributions will be much appreciate (and well used).

When I get back to California I want to hit the ground running...HARD!

I'll need to get brochures, gas (to travel around my district), a place to stay (I'm pretty sure I got rent covered and work when I get back though), a car (maybe; at least a bike). You know; the usual stuff.

Philly has been interesting. I've gotten a lot of good feedback (lots of, "I like Ron Paul!"). I've met a few different groups and have a few more left to meet with. Then it is off to D.C. and then back home.

This trip has been epic, thanks again for all the help!!!

don't get burned out though! i think the campaign raised some unfair expectations that are weighing on us. and i don't think "the delegate strategy" was the way to go because the fruits of those labors are too far down the road to help build momentum. the only thing the media couldn't ignore is wins....

santorum did the "win iowa and get the christian vote" strategy and it looks like THAT was the way to go.

less of santorum in the debates helped him, whereas less of paul in the debates hurt.

i wish there were more debates now that there are only 4 left...

sorry to ramble, it's just so infuriating when a guy like ron paul can be losing to men like romney, santorum or gingrich in ANY precinct of any state in the united states of america.

A Win would be nice...

I think you are right. When I was in Iowa they were playing the evangelist strategy, almost worked out.

Maine was so close. Washington, again, thought we had that.

The delegate strategy is solid, but you are right, hard to keep moral going.

I'm going to try to make it to the convention personally, hopefully we can do some damage there and make this thing happen. I know the establishment is set on Romney getting it, but if it goes to a second round, and Romney isn't picking up steam in round 2, we may be able to convince them to back Paul to make sure Santorum doesn't get it.

I keep leading with my 3-way race assessment, hoping to convince people that Romney can't win:

We are so close...I can feel it. They are doing everything they can to keep us from building momentum, to me that is a sign we are winning. Though, getting the Doc into the White House would be the greatest thing since the Internet (I'm actually not that into sliced bread these days, I rather bake the loaf myself and put a knife to it).
