Where to Start?Submitted by drewden123 on Wed, 03/07/2012 - 16:55
Maybe this is the wrong place/time to be posting this, but I was hoping you all could help. After witnessing all the disgusting corruption and the severe lack of principles our government officials have, I am starting to believe I may be called into running for public office. Ron Paul is my inspiration (I agree with him on probably 99% of his stances), and I want to stop arguing with people online about liberty and live my God-given life to stand up for it and defend it no matter how unpopular it is. So, with that said, do you guys have any suggestions on where I should start? Some background info:
I am 20 years old. I attend college in Illinois, but my home is in Ohio. I am majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Spanish. I am thinking about adding a minor in Political Science.
I want to eventually run for Congress, and if I get that far maybe even President. I represented Dr. Paul in a mock presidential debate at my school and rocked it, which motivated me to step into the political arena. Any suggestions on what steps I should take/plan for right now to hopefully one day run for a Congressional seat? Thanks!
