HAWAII, March 7, 2012 - Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul have one thing in common: they all need to maximize the number of states they win both for delegates and the psychological boost that coming in first place brings.
Hawaii, which will host its first ever GOP presidential caucus on March 13, is an outstanding opportunity for any of the three underdogs to pick up an easy win, but Paul in particular - having received more contributions from Hawaii residents than any other Republican candidate - should make winning Hawaii his top priority.
Nevertheless, Hawaii is up for grabs to whoever has the humility to campaign it. Hawaii wants to be on the political map for the first time (and so does Ron Paul) so candidates should wisely indulge the locals. Here's four tips to winning hearts and minds:
