Building gallows works for treason,.....

which this is. The question of whether we have been taken over by enemies from within has been answered.

"I, __________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oath_of_enlistment

There is no duration defined in the Oath

As of yet,

we have no reason to believe our 'representatives' will do their jobs. If Sessions was serious about his job, Panetta would have been arrested on the spot as this IS treason. If our so called congress is anything but decoration then it would make their move quickly. I keep hearing there is so much on them they can't make a move or they will be exposed so why don't we all call our congress members and ask them what the administration has on them, we want to know.

This is astonishing.

What I heard Secretary Panetta say, towards the end of the video, around the 7:00 mark, was that when it comes to the national defence of the United States of America the President under the Constitution has the authority to act to defend the country. He made no mention of going to the Congress to ask for a declaration of war.

He then went on to describe another situation where he would go to an international body like the UNSC to get permission for a No-Fly Zone as they did in Libya. In other words when it is NOT a matter of national defence the Constitution does not apply. This includes ANY situation where the national defence of the United States is not an issue. Then it is an international issue requiring the permission of international bodies but not the Congress. This includes situations like Libya that resulted in the destruction of a country and its people. For that the President does not need the permission of the Congress to deploy the United States military.

To my mind this is an astonishing admission. It could not be clearer. Listen carefully to the statement he makes from 7:00 to the end.

I am glad to see that at least one member of the House of Representatives has reacted to this statement by the Secretary of Defense. (see below in post by FreedomBurnsBright.)

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

I wonder if this same congressman voted for the NDAA?

I wonder if this same congressman voted for the NDAA? hmmmmm

"Forgive them father for they know not what they do."

Will Americans be so forgiving of such ignorant fools as the men that granted unlawful powers to corrupt corporate interests, then later decided to argue the fine details. If they detain my family or murder them with a drone strike? How will I be able to forgive? There will be none, there will be only bloodshed.

Ron Paul needs a delegate army to fight these scum, let's work as though our lives depend on it... because they do.

Yes

That's exactly how I understood what he said. In his mind in a war of defense the president can act like Caesar and war WITHOUT congressional approval "in accordance to the constitution.." Um, Panetta, what frickin' constitution are you reading from? If you mean the War Powers Act that's not in the constitution buddy....and if it's an offensive war and adventurism the president only needs approval from NATO to use OUR military for THEIR collective purposes?! Then as an afterthought let the congress know? This is out of control.

This is such a sham-

These 3 are complicit. This is a Dog-&-Pony show. Anyone here geniunely believe Sen Sess doesn't know who the military takes their orders from? Give me a break.

The cameras are rolling.

This is Paul-ing on Session's part! No Constitutional Altruism here. That's what should be shocking! My guess he's up for re-election. Dunno.

So no, you won't hear about this anywhere else but DP. Because it's Paul-ing!!!

His term isn't up

for another 2 years. But, I can tell you, he does NOT like the Obama Admin. Politics or not, this needs to go viral and wake more people up!

I've transmitted it every place I can!

but it doesn't mean a thing if people don't realise that Sessions is a schill of the permanent govt, just like my 2 TX senators. When the cameras are on, they speak graffitti. When u look at their voting record, well, u know what i'm saying.

Under NDAA cant' HE be arrested?

Republican Congressman Walter Jones has introduced a resolution

http://www.infowars.com/coup-detat-pentagon-obama-declare-co...

In an effort to re-affirm the fact that “the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution,” Republican Congressman Walter Jones has introduced a resolution in the House of Representatives.

The full text reads;

Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.

Whereas the cornerstone of the Republic is honoring Congress’s exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution: Now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That it is the sense of Congress that, except in response to an actual or imminent attack against the territory of the United States, the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress violates Congress’s exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution and therefore constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.

Under the terms of Jones’ resolution, both Panetta and Obama would be subject to impeachment for abusing their power and violating the Constitution in disregarding the authority of Congress and placing a foreign power above its jurisdiction.

Ever seen a resolution enforced in Court? Laws are enforced.

Laws are judged & enforced.

Resolutions & "Sense of the Senate" are circus. Showmanship. A make-believe boat out of water.

Much ado about nothing.

I was a little confused... It

I was a little confused... It sounded like Sessions (not my favorite senator) refused to accept that US needed anybody's permission if US wanted to declare war...somehow it got turned around when Panetta stated that before entering combat US military would seek approval from Nato and/or UN for joint operations. Sessions is NOT concerned about American undeclared wars so long as they are not hindered by anybody else's approval. Is Sessions confused about what is going on? Am I? Obama is the Security Council!

Appalling!

Let's help keep Obama on his toes by supporting this group of young people travelling the nation for the cause of liberty:

The fight is far from over and we need to keep these guys out there racking up the delegates and spreading Dr. Paul's message.

Wow. I'm speechless.

Wow. I'm speechless.

I've had to listen to this several times...

to BELIEVE what I'm hearing. If Our Congress just lets this go without taking some kind of action, we are past doomed! And I'll guarantee you only ONE Candidate will EVER speak of this! (Because the others would be quietly in support of such action...in my opinion.)

I should get off here and write my Congressman...like that's done any good whatsoever in the past! AND my two Senators are GOP and voted 'aye', whereas my liberal Congressman voted AGAINST THE UNPATRIOTIC ACT!

Susie 4 Liberty

The last comment

You would only need to listen to the last statement that he made to get it. He clarified so that there was no doubt in the Congressman's mind that the President has absolute power to do whatever he wishes. There is NO WAY on earth to misinterpret that statement.

Did Limbought Talk About This, Will The Other "Conservative"...

AM talkers, LeVino, Slanty, Savagery, and Becky address Panetta's betrayal? This is a red line for liberty. If our heroic mouthbreathers of the airwaves don't rush to condemn this then all will know beyond doubt that there is only one party in Washington, the G.O.W.F.E.R. party (Globalist One World Fellating Elite Rentboys).

Seriously, I took a break from Limbaugh today. Did he even mention it?

Ron Paul needs

to jump on this immediately! The neocons over at Breitbart are freaking out. All of the other GOP frauds are shills for the MIC, there's no way they'll come out against this. If they do, we know it'll be BS. This is a great opportunity for Ron to score some points with those "conservatives" claiming to be constitutionalists now that it's the other side subverting our sovereignty.

Someone get some tar and feathers

You know what to do...

“It is not our part to master all the tides of the world, but to do what is in us for the succour of those years wherein we are set, uprooting the evil in the fields that we know, so that those who live after may have clean earth to till." -J.R.R. Tolkien

Yeah! Someone gotta Catapillar truck

with a symbolic flamming pit and tar and a bag of feathers so we can park it in front of the Congressional steps with a sign that says..... oh, that's right. I forgot. They just passed H.R.347. Can't do dat no more!

They're protected by Secret Service and you could get 10 yrs if you do dat.

The people delegate certain tasks

to the government, and authorize them to perform these tasks, under the restrictions in the US Constitution.
This is where their "authority" comes from.

When the gov't steps out of these bounds, they have broken the bond, and no longer have the authority of the people, and are no longer "the government". AT that point, they are nothing more than criminal usurpers worthy of the death penalty prescribed for traitors.

The very thing that they wish to circumvent, is the only thing that authorizes their powers. When they disregard that, they have no authorized power to do anything.

Hmmmm!

Cant imagine why their would be election fraud going on against Dr. Paul or why they wouldn't want him to be the Republican nominee. (sarcasm) before i get any negative votes.

"Give me liberty or give me death" Patrick Henry

Arrogance

This type of pompous arrogance proves to me that they feel that they no longer have to hide anything from us. It proves to me that they feel their power is so strong that we can do nothing about it. When our government comes out and says to our faces that "The President can do ANYTHING that he wants to do....NO MORE Congress....NO MORE Rule Of Law....NO MORE Constitution" then we have tyranny. Bringing down Ron Paul, not in true reality, but in media reality makes them feel confident that we are powerless to stop them now.

They have the NDAA

they are no longer afraid of us citizens overthrowing the government.

"Give me liberty or give me death" Patrick Henry

Exactly

Those of us that have been following the REAL news understand that in February the "powers that be" had everything in place for a blowback except for one thing, the second amendment but that can be taken care of with martial law.

The traitorous

Sonofab!tch should have been led out of the hearing in shackles. What an outrage!

I hope Veterans for Ron Paul will be all over this.
