Horrible Slampiece: Virginia Heffernan

http://news.yahoo.com/ron-paul-s-pointless-internet-presiden...

Please don't click on the link, copy & paste if you want to read. Lots of pro Ron comments from facebook users.

This is appearing on the front page of Yahoo in the scrolling articles.

Synopsis: another New York Times alumni takes a swipe at Ron Paul. Folks, the meme now is for Ron Paul to end his campaign. Why? Because horrible screed writers like Virginia say so. That tells me there is only one thing for Ron Paul to keep doing!

Wow!

What a brain-dead smart ass thinking she knows everything but doesn't really know anything outside of her cocooned mind-set. This is typical reactionary emotionalism from her younger generation though not everyone of that age group is so misled, self-centered and clueless, thankfully. Granted, she has intelligence but hasn't lived enough to develop it into balanced wisdom toned with heart-felt love (unselfishness). Wisdom, gained with experience, will polish her skills and she could become a great communicator.

The LIGHT (Ron Paul Evollution) shines very bright and the

I ripped her good

In my comment. It has since been removed. I actually feel like that is a victory. That means that what I said actually hit home and aggravated them so much it had to be removed. However, it was just pointing out her hypocrisy and socialist agenda. I may re post.

NY/Ivy League Sociopath

Her NY Times and Ivy League background ensures her entitled, arrogant, progressive, elitism.

To her (and her elistist ilk), all serfs residing west of the Hudson should be thankful for the rule by her enlightened class, submit to the Borg, and be happy to pay tribute to them.

All variants of high-collectivism matriculate up through the Ivy League hivemind and our Sodom and Gomorahs of NYC and DC.

When I see Harvard on a pedigree, I instantly think "sociopath".

@page88 Just read your latest @RonPaul smear. SO..an INTERNET "journalist" belittles a HOUSEHOLD NAME over his internet popularity? #TROLL

Virginia who?

And why should I care what she thinks?

Oh yes! I get it.
Because she's a blogger on the internet, which is the same internet that she seems to think is insignificant.

She's not only evil, but she's brain dead.

When they are screaming and ranting, that means we are getting to them, and winning.
I like it when they scream.
Let's make them scream some more.

the media is all out against Ron Paul cause they know he is...

..DANGEROUS for their status quo!
Dont get mad. They are panicking. We are growing. Everyday more RP supporters.

Its now on us to get the ones that we havent reached yet!

Once people know what the Dr. stands for without the media spinning his message he wins their minds and hearts!

We need to inform the sleeping masses that rely solely on the mass media that blacks out Ron Paul or spins his message.
Espacially the 50+ generation, that is watching FOXCNN all day, is hurting us at the polls. We have flyers geared for them!
Lets get these flyers out in masses!
If every Paul supporter prints some hundred and puts them in their neighbourhood then we multiply our chances to win the nomination!

These flyers are all free to print:

- Including flyers geared towards 50+ generation.(If you know a place or neighbourhood with age 50+ people)

please share links.

Everyone can print them and distribute them everywhere to inform the masses. Mailboxes, windshields, public spaces, voting places, delegate meetings...

+ dont forget to register as a delegate in your state.

The sad thing to me...

even more than the content, is that an obvious opinion piece is labelled as news. There is a place for opinion articles, but when they are put forward as news pieces it is a very bad thing. This just highlights the over all sad state of our "news" media now.

I couldn't agree more

But it's been a long time since "news was news" and "opinion was opinion". Does anyone know the history behind this, the fact that opinion slowly began to sneak into the news until the two were no longer discernible? I can remember Huntley/Brinkley and Walter Cronkite. When Cronkite went to Vietnam and then offered his opinion against the war, causing either LBJ or Nixon (I don't remember which) to comment that they lost support for the war when they lost Cronkite, was this the start of opinion as news, or does it go even further back than that?

Writing anti-Paul hit pieces only serves to make these people

relevant, in an otherwise irrelevant GOP contest. Unless of course Ron wins the nomination.

good obedient drones like themselves. Sorry, there's a r3VOLution going on and the Virginia tools of the world are the last to know.

Ha, the comments were the

Ha, the comments were the best...didn't even read the article, just went right for the important stuff!

If you walk blindly through life, you will run into a lot of walls.

I Saw This Piece of Garbage

I have seen so many pieces lately. The mainstream media is taking advantage of the fact Ron hasn't won a state yet. It's been worse since Super Tuesday. This one is probably the worst. A lot of Ron Paulers are posting comments. That's what we all need to do. We need to show the media and the uninformed that we not only support our candidate, but we know why.

It's do or die now. They want to end our peaceful liberty movement, and we have to push back.

We all need to make more comments after these hit pieces and at the end write Google Ron Paul

If his campaign is pointless

If his campaign is pointless then why write a 1100+ word article about him? Probably so she can get a ton of hits by mentioning someone with a huge base of supporters. And since the article doesn't allow for comments she doesn't even have to be bothered by opposing viewpoints of the people who are giving her those page views.

I could comment

basically said the same thing you're saying.

Asked what the point of her article was, other than getting views/hits, because it didn't really seem to have a point.

Edit: found my comment:

Yes Virginia, there really Is Somebody. I'm one of them, and have yet to find someone to correctly stereotype who I am as a Paul supporter. You think "Likes" are a good measure? There are Somebody's who are not even on the internet! It's funny though, to see other candidates steal what Paul and his supporters say and do, such as the "MoneyBomb" and the "TeaParty" etc... My first Tea Party was in 2007. At any rate, other than to get views and hits (which Paul seems to bring in droves), what was the point of your article again?

At 3:50 pm ET There Is No Way to Comment

Do you think they took the comments down already? Guess she can dish it but can't take it.

still comments

lol wouldn't supprise me if they did something like that!

but I can still comment...

first time I had to load the page like 5 times before it would even show comments, but now it's coming up ok and I can still comment (2:58 central time)

This is what passes for

This is what passes for journalistic commentary today: snarky, cynical, and totally void of any belief system.
