Worst smear article in awhile and it is the featured story on Yahoo News! - Ron Paul's pointless Internet presidency

http://news.yahoo.com/ron-paul-s-pointless-internet-presiden...

I'm sick of finding all of these negative articles. I will try to post happy ones but they seem few and far between since Super Tuesday.

what a joke

Ask Kony how much power is in the internet. I'm sure Ron Paul would love to be president of the internet also.

That's Funny...Yahoo is a Pointless Internet Company...

Maybe we should start a viral boycott to prove it. I wonder if we all decided to stop going to anything Yahoo for a period and see just how irrelevant we all are!

Who's with me?

Already have, ever since they

Already have, ever since they agreed to let the gov't have our info and monitor the searches. Why use something that is obviously not for the greater good especially when controlled? They have "branded" everyone by default, there are so many other sites than yahoo crap.

The article's been moved to the back.

Out of the 55 articles in the scroll bar, the Ron Paul one's been moved to 53, and therefore no one's going to really see it anymore.

I take it it's because we all went to the yahoo comments to complain. lol.

All I have to say is...

In this article she claimed she wrote an article on him in 2007 for the NYT which got slammed with pro-Paul comments, so I would assume it was another hit piece.

With liberty and justice for all...who can afford it.

Demagoguery

All he talks about is liberty, the Constitution, and honest money. Man how they love to demagogue.

"Where liberty is, there is my country." -Benjamin Franklin

She wouldn't have a job if it weren't for us reading her stories

on the internet. She isn't good enough to be with a nationally acclaimed newspaper. Lucky for her the younger people aren't going to the MSM for their news.

But what she meant for harm, we can use for GOOD !

She dubbed Ron Paul " President of the Interenet" Hey, Its a start. It's the declared WIN of his first office as president! It has a nice ring to it. He could get more done with the internet than our current administration could ever dream of.
So be it! Ron Paul; by the authority vested in all of us internet supporters; we do hereby decree Ron Paul IS president of the Internet; a Constitutional Republic.
Hey, I have a virtual bank, why not a virtual president? It's a whole lot better than what we've got now!
All Hail; President Paul !
And with the internet, He shall be chief executive.
We the people shall be congress and Senate.
Would this be considered a virtual coup d'etat?

A patriot must always be prepared to defend his country from his government.

Poorly written--

full of vitriol. It's not a fair piece of journalism. This was definitely written out of angst of some kind.

Someone is behind it. I suspect this person (Virginia whomever) of being a ghost writer for someone who bears a grudge against Dr. Paul.

And why not use the internet to help a campaign.

It used to be that one could use his/her local party, but the GOP has shown *us* that that venue cannot always be trusted.

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

I wouldn't underestimate it being distraction news.

Rush Limbaugh put his foot in it, hitting his all-time high of inflammatory (and stupid) misogynistic, woman-hating commentary, one week ago. He is in serious hot water, being boycotted and losing a lot of sponsors.

Limbaugh is worth $685 million.

The author is a struggling writer who works on graphic novels (i.e., comic books).

The GOP is pulling out all stops to save his image on the Internet. As I'm sure Rush is himself.

Today is International Women's Day.

Connect the above dots...?

She has a book she co-authored on Amazon. GO on there and give some bad reviews.

Also, did you see what someone did to her wiki? lol

someone fixed it already

:(

"Give me liberty or give me death" Patrick Henry

No.

Please don't, unless you've actually read the book and can talk about the content specifically... If word gets out there are Ron Paul supporters bombing her Amazon reviews, there will be blowback on one of Ron's own books. It has happened before.

What a worthless article

Even as an editorial piece that was absolutely worthless. Why was it published? It was poorly written (I had to re-read several paragraphs to understand), had no substance, and the end is laughable "which he is not--you heard it here first--going to win". If she's the first person to say that he is not going to win, and if it's provable, I would vote for Romney and give his campaign everything in my bank account.

I understand hit pieces when they have some new claim of racism or sketchy supporters or a bad vote in Congress, because those are at least based on some sort of fact (albeit misconstrued or false). This didn't even have any facts to hate on. This kind of crap belongs on a Facebook Status, not published on a website to make someone money....

We Have to Push On

We need to leave more comments stating the facts and the truth. I think we should end with Google Ron Paul. People are just so uninformed. Maybe we can change some minds. They have this on the Yahoo Home Page as -Yahoo!'s Virginia Heffernan explains why the candidate's fierce online following means so little. Like this woman is an authority on anything. I don't want her to explain anything to me.
