HELP!!!!

Yesterday, I wrote to Ben Swann of Fox19 news about my concern over what appears to me to be voter fraud in Kansas.

Can anyone from DailyPaul share with Ben Swann some of what happened in Kansas?

Below is Ben's email to me

Subject: Kansas Voter Fraud?

Hi Ben,
I am writing to you because I was very impressed by your Maine election report coverage and I am a big fan of you.

Yesterday, roughly 4,000 Ron Paul supporters attended a Town Hall Meeting in Lawrence Kansas as well as at the Kansas State TEA Party Convention & Presidential Straw Poll in Wichita. There were overflow crowds and Ron Paul supporters were turned away. Yet, Ron Paul only garnered 3,000 total votes in today's Kansas caucus????

Rick Santorum didn’t even draw more than 200 supporters at his Kansas rallies and yet, it is being reported that he is the overwhelming winner?

How can this be? The count must be rigged and the results contrived! How else can you explain this phenomenon? Things are not adding up.

Thanks

How the Kansas Caucus works

I am posting this to both remind people that they need to check their facts and also to explain the Kansas caucus to those that obviously don't get it.

First of all Kansas has a process nearly identical to Iowa in terms of voting. It is a fairly open process.

1. We use paper ballots
2. Only registered Republicans can vote
3. Turn out is VERY low
4. This time each campaign was allowed to appoint a vote watcher who also counted ballots to ensure the process was fair.
5. 10 minute speech speakers were designated by the campaigns.

Myths about people who attend political events
1. They are all there to support the candidate(huge myth). We had socialists at our Paul event criticizing his monetary policy but were interested in hearing him speak (they will not vote for him I promise but they were part of the numbers)

2. Everyone who attends an event is a voter or will vote. I lined up a speaker for Ron Paul that was not registered to vote and in fact didn't even show up to speak who attended this event and shook Dr. Paul's hand backstage.

3. Students vote. Not so much a myth but a reminder that MOST STUDENTS DON'T VOTE, don't know who is running, knows that they have to be registered to vote, knows how to get registered, knows what a caucus is, now's where to go to caucus, knows that they have to show up on time to a caucus, knows that they shouldn't go out partying the night before in order to get up for the caucus, and are dependable.

But elderly people are.

Ron Paul and his people must know this and that is why I believe they are putting the education of young people (the next generation) over victory at this point or he would instantly stop going to large rallies on college campuses and instead focus on people that actually vote.

Some additional thoughts...

1. The students at this campus did an incredible job flyering for this event and getting the word out for about a week.

2. People come far and wide to hear Dr. Paul. Many are not from Lawrence in this picture.

3. Some students were given college credit to attend, were personally invited by friends, and may be more interested in listening to a politician speak.

4. Many attending this event are NOT Ron Paul supporters. I know some of the people attending to be small children - high school, out of state/county, Republican party types, Democrats, peace activist, socialists, anarchist (that don't vote), international students(looking for something to do), patrons of the Lied Center, and various other motivators.

5. I saw the list of registered and a small fraction were from Douglas County and were able to even vote in a closed Republican caucus.

6. The Lenexa event was during the day while the Paul event was at night.

However this does not take away from the incredible organization of the Youth for Paul chapter at KU (packed the house, overflow areas, and turned people away) and the passion of a small minority of Ron Paul supporters that travel and are getting out to these events.

Great analysis!

The graph showing both the Romney and Paul projections and their final reported votes is very telling. If we were in court, that graph would seal the deal that there was voter fraud.

We should report these anomalies to Fox News (since they say they want to investigate voter fraud).

I cannot see this photo. It doesn't load for some reason. Can someone upload it somewhere else?

I think Democrats are voting

I think Democrats are voting Santorum up so he wins and gets eaten alive by Obama.
If this is true, we'll be able to prevail in the battle for delegates because Democrats are not going to go the route of becoming delegates and all it entails.

Democrats can't vote in closed caucus

eat it

just eat it...I am talking in general about the corrupt evoting not just kansas..my comment is not dis info, it is a hard cold reality.

If I could vote a comment up 1000 times, it's this one ^^^^^

For me this is the hardest reality to come to terms with.

Santorm "supporters"

don't want to show up to his events because if they actually hear him talk they might have to think twice about voting for such a sleeze...they'd rather keep their heads burried in the sand until it's time to vote and then go back to having their heads burried.

The world is currently ruled by shallow, thoughtless, cowards.

When you see a picture of Santorum

Imagine him with a small cropped mustach. This is where we are as a nation. You ask yourself, how can people vote for "Frothy" Rick? Well, history doesn't repeat, but it will ryhme. When a people have lost everything and have nothing else to loose, they loose it. The end result....let us go bomb brown kids. God is not happy, and he will take away that which he has given us. If we we do not deserve Ron Paul, we will not get him (as our POTUS). We have have lost our way. We are the REMNANT.

How the #$%#%

How does Ron Paul get 5X the amount of people to show up for his rally's than Rick Santorum but during the caucus, Rick gets 5X more votes in Kansas?? wtf! i hate seeing the biggest crowds then finishing in last place...

Answer: Ron Paul excites students like a celebrity

Unfortunately, none of these students actually vote or know anything about the process.

If he wants to win an election, he should spend a portion of these rallies explaining to them how elections work and how you get registered. Also, not to party the night before a critical vote.

Rick focuses on Republicans that know the drill. He wins 100 more votes here and there and it looks like a major victory. The population of an average caucus is mostly older voters, people not going to these rallies.

Talk about overstating...

I appreciate your desire to hold people on here accountable to charges of fraud and request that these accusations only be made with facts to back them up. But I have to say that your tone in several of your posts is overly negative and equally arrogant, not to mention that you are also guilty of hyperbole when you use terms like "none" or "all".

It is true that students are a challenging demographic to get to the polls, especially when you take into consideration the fact that many attend school outside of their home states. But it is false to assert that "none of these students actually vote or know anything about the process." I am sure some of them do, maybe even a convincing percentage are aware of the process, and of those informed many are voting. Much of what you say is important to keep in mind, but that doesn't automatically invalidate other interpretations and opinions.

My conspiracy theory.

Dems are registering Republican to vote for Santorum. This helps the GOP keep down Ron Paul. The Dems know they can beat Romney and Santorum but are worried about Ron Paul's appeal among younger voters.

Santorum is a Straw Man

Santorum is just there to work on the mass's emotions. Especially back in December debates anytime Dr. Paul would speak Santorum would be next with some rhetorical garbage that would bring the people out of their pensive state and back into a state of rabble.
He is there to beat the drums of the American Slumber against Dr. Paul's Liberty Trumpet.

Dr. Paul should make this his campaign song!

Perspective

Lawrence, Kansas is home to University of Kansas and has a population--ages 18 to 44--that is 259% more populous than the same demographic in Lenexa, Kansas. The highly social environment of a college campus would also build a buzz and bring a larger crowd than a city with a less active social network.

Lenexa, Kansas | Population: 48,190

Age 18 to 24: 4,578 people (9.5%)
Age 25 to 44: 15,420 people(32.0%)
Total people age 18 to 44: 19,998 (41.5%)

Age 45 and older: 15,805 people (32.8%)
-------------------------------------------
Lawrence, Kansas | Population: 87,643

Age 18 to 24: 26,906 people(30.7%)
Age 25 to 44: 24,978 people(28.5%)
Total people age 18 to 44: 51,884 (59.2%)

Age 45 and older: 19,544 people (22.3%)

Note: Percentages are percent of total city population.

Hi

So what are you trying to say ?

I heard people saying the

I heard people saying the photos represent the real vote turnout, which is being suppressed through fraud. Before I assumed that, I wanted to compare demographics of the cities to makes sense of the stark difference in turnout numbers shown in the rally photos.

I found the drastically larger population of young voters in a college town to be a sufficient answer to why there are so many more people in the Ron Paul rally photograph. Of course there is always the fact the a message of liberty motivates people to RP rallies. Santorum voters are turning out to vote but they're not inspired enough to go hear him speak at a rally.

Ron Paul pamphlets free downloads

Ron Paul pamphlets on Israel, Abortion and the Fed can be downloaded from the following web site. They are written from an evangelical perspective and are very effective with Christians who want to know the truth.

Good Reading

I just read your pamphlets, and I gotta say, even as a non-Christian, if I wasn't a Ron Paul supporter already, I would be one after reading all that. Great work, and I hope you continue to spread the message :D

I have been waiting my entire

I have been waiting my entire adult life for someone to stand up for principle and talk about truly changing the direction the country is heading. Now's the time. While I'm as frustrated as anyone else I see positive signs each day when I hear prominent people endorsing Ron Paul ideas in national formats.

When I was reading one comment after another dripping with enthusiastic support it was easy to support Dr. Paul. It's more difficult now and I understand that but I also know that an opportunity like this only comes along, it seems, about once every generation and I'm not going to let go of it now and see it die from lack of support and self-fulfilling prophesy. What's going on here?

Do all these hundreds and thousands of people who come to a Ron Paul rally, NOT VOTE. Does this make any sense to anyone?

GOD BLESS US ALL

Yes it makes no sense but it is true.

For us we wouldn't imagine not voting. For the casual observer it isn't a priority.

Our get out the vote effort sucks. Plain and simple.

We are to blame ultimately for this. People listen to the speech but can't participate in the process in large numbers because no one told them they need to be registered as a Republican to support Ron Paul.

Claim fraud till the cows come home. In some instances you may have a case but it wouldn't matter if our ground game was as good as our internet game.
