MOST of his support is from OUTSIDE the GOP

and his most virulent detractors are INSIDE the GOP. The GOP has proven they will lie, cheat and steal, and has stated quite clearly that their position is "Ron Paul will NOT be the nominee."
There seems to be this notion that if we send a bunch of delegates to the RNC that we will somehow manage to force them to be honest with the result. Well, I was at the LAST RNC, where every word was scripted, and we were told that if we attempted to do anything off script we would not be allowed on camera. The GOP is already trotting out Jeb and Sarah in case a brokered Convention happens. Someone, PLEASE tell me there is a "Plan B."

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

Too close IMO

Not to put a damper on things, but shouldn´t there be a much higher margin of difference amongst INDEPENDENT voters? I´m not too impressed with 37-31 in Ohio, 38-25 in Tennessee. If we have such a lock on the Independent vote, I think we should be doing much better than that. I think we need to ask a BIG "WHY" the other candidates are getting 25% -31% of the INDEPENDENT vote AGAINST Ron Paul?

Good news but...

try reading the article.

"In Virginia on Super Tuesday, Ron Paul clobbered Romney, 64 percent to 36 percent, among the 32 percent of the electorate who described themselves as independents. In Ohio (37 percent to 31 percent) and Tennessee (38 percent to 25 percent) Romney lost the independent vote to Rick Santorum. Newt Gingrich carried independent voters by healthy margins in South Carolina and Georgia."

Santorum beat him in Ohio and Tennessee and Gingrich did the same in Georgia. Not just Paul that beats him in the category. Granted we all know Paul does best with independents but apparently anyone can versus Romney.

Who decides what gets promoted?

There is always so much misinformation on this site. A lot of people mistake this for the official Ron Paul site too, and think he's lying frequently when people are just getting their facts wrong.

Things that are promoted to front page need to go through a thorough fact check. Not everyone understands this is a forum. The appearance is a normal article section, and you expect that these are authored articles which are supposed to be well-researched rather than forum posts which could simply be random musings.

I somewhat agree with you

For starters, a disclaimer should be prominently displayed on the main page to indicate that this site is not affiliated with RP or his campaign. There is such a disclaimer at the top of each thread (which is barely visible), but I feel it should be on the homepage.

I disagree that "there is always so much misinformation on this site." However, Mittens pointed out that the title was incorrect 2 hours ago, and 15 minutes after that I posted a corroborating reply, and a request to Michael to change the title, as he is probably the one who promoted it. Everyone makes mistakes, but this title needs to be changed ASAP.

EDIT: I just realized that KingDiz pointed this out also in the first comment on the post at 7:08AM. So it has actually been over 3 and a half hours since a user indicated that the title should be changed.

Still fighting tooth and nail

Still fighting tooth and nail for those media brainwashed republicans though. Maybe a side by side comparison of the candidates could sway more of them. See what you think:

Am I Reading This Correctly?

"In Ohio (37 percent to 31 percent) and Tennessee (38 percent to 25 percent) Romney lost the independent vote to Rick Santorum."

I read that as Frothy beating Romney among indies and not Ron Paul. I hope I'm wrong though.

KingDiz and Mittens are correct

Frothy bested Romney from the independent voters in those states. Only in VA did Paul "clobber" Romney with the indies. I had to read it twice to get it right in my head, but our Ron Paul colored glasses occasionally lead us astray when reading the deluge of numbers that we process daily.

It does prove one thing, however, that the anti-Romney movement is far stronger than the MSM is indicating. NO 1144 for Romney!

EDIT: Michael, please fix the title as this is misinformation as it is written now.

That is great info

that naturally went unreported. Your post is slightly misleading though. While RP clobbered Mitt with the independents in VA, those statistics for Ohio and Tennessee represented (only God knows why)Santorum's numbers vs. Mitt.
