Just got 12 Missouri delegates!

We're here in Los Angeles and we've been calling into Missouri for a few hours. We're identifying our supporters and letting them know how important it is to become delegates on Saturday, and the response is tremendous. In just a few hundred calls so far this morning, I've convinced a dozen people to become delegates for Ron Paul in Missouri. The other volunteers here are having similar success. We know the work we're doing is making a difference and we'd love to keep it going; there are plenty of areas across the country filled with willing volunteers. All they need is a little motivation and training on the proper techniques for getting as many Ron Paul delegates as possible. If there's anything you can do to help us continue, please check us out:

Also, do what you can to get on the phones and keep fighting to motivate our supporters to get out to vote and become delegates. The media is becoming more and more successful at discouraging potential Ron Paul voters and delegates. You can make a huge difference just by calling into upcoming primary and caucus states and reminding our people that the establishment is not going to roll over and hand us back the freedoms we deserve; we must continue fighting, now more than ever.

We're about to start calling into Hawaii to motivate Dr. Paul's supporters there and remind them how essential it is that they come out on Tuesday to help send a message to the country that Hawaiians are willing to stand up for their civil liberties. If you know anyone in the LA area, encourage them to stop by the phone bank here at 1728 Abbot-Kinney Blvd in Venice, CA; we need all the help we can get. Thanks!

If you need help

ont the phones let me know.

Always.

We always need help on the phones, especially on a day with three states voting. If you're not able to make it down to a phone bank, check out phone.ronpaul2012.com

super job!!!

Now replicate your call center to other locations! What do we need to do to clone your whole operation? Or, is that the wrong question?

What is begun in anger, ends in shame.

It's the perfect question...

I'd suggest starting with a Phone from Home bank for get out the vote efforts, and if the volunteer support is there, look into upgrading it. Thanks for the interest, we need as many people on the phones as possible!

GREAT JOB guys!! Keep talking

GREAT JOB guys!! Keep talking to people, and bring California to Paul in June!!!

*Wisconsin Constitution* Article I, Section 25 "The people have the right to keep and bear arms for security, defense, hunting, recreation or any other law-abiding purpose"

Absolutely!

We've gotten tons of voter registration forms out to California Democrats and still have lots of time to get people to register Republican. Get yourself a few dozen forms and personally get people to switch, even if just for a couple months. Dr. Paul has enough support here to win big, so let's get as many Paul supporters as possible registered and out to vote.

Just curious

Do you recommend that attendees where or not where Paul paraphanalia?

Thanx,

Jason

I'd say not to.

Every state works differently, but since the popular vote isn't even going to be reported from Missouri's caucus, we should focus on the delegates. You should do what you can to arrive early and identify the other Ron Paul supporters so you can support each other as delegates. But the reality is that many precincts have such a low turnout that all you need to do is volunteer and you're a delegate. That said, if you do need to be elected, give a short speech about your commitment to limited government and defeating Barack Obama. "I'll knock on every door in my district to make sure whoever the Republican nominee is gets elected." The only reason you'd have to identify yourself as a Ron Paul supporter would be to tip off the other Paulers at your caucus, and I'd suggest doing that before the caucus begins. Good Luck!

The delegate strategy is kicking in!!!

Let's all continue our best effort in this!!!

(Hmmm my county convention - King, WA on 4/28/12, location is not even decided yet, hopefully the place won't be somewhere off in nowhere)

Stay the course....

We just got to Venice from King County WA and I can tell you that we did very well with delegates there (as well as the rest of WA). The challenge will be to keep our delegates motivated and make sure they follow through and attend their conventions all the way up to the state level.

I'm only an alternate

But I can tell you with certainty that the RP delegate in my precinct will go to the County Convention! (He offered to drive me, as soon as we get the location that is :D)

The only thing that MIGHT get delegate off the course could possibly be the location though, I mean if they announce it in short notice, I know I can make it, but I don't know about the rest in King County though... Maybe it's just me not knowing when they will be posting the location and being paranoid about it XD

But let's hope this won't happen: http://soundpolitics.com/public/2008/04/king_county_gop_conv... (First comment)

I thought it might be a good idea to post the Comment you made mention of..some good points brought out there.

1. Some of the Ron Paul people may have been upset, but the Ron Paul leaders (yes key leaders) who I chatted with after the convention were not upset at the KCGOP. They were VERY upset at overwhelming number of the Ron Paul people who did not show up for the convention. (Several hundered.) We were 112 I think short of a quorum when someone questioned. I have attended 11 King County Conventions in the last 20 years, and that is the FIRST one where we have not kept a quorum. A quorum has to be 20% of the total number of delegates elected at the Precinct Caucuses. People always come and then do not stay. But THIS time, there was such a huge drop off from the Precinct Caucuses to the King County Convention, that the quorum was lost before we could debate the platform. I would attribute that to the following: a) It was the first really nice day of the year. b) The Ron Paul people by and large did not show up. c) The Romney people were extremely well organized, and absolutely flooded the precinct caucuses in overwhelming numbers. Romney dropped out. They were VERY demoralized. Unless they were already involved in the party, a lot of them just quit. So when this happened, the 20% go a lot bigger, and a lot less attended the KCGOP convention. I would suggest that the couple of Ron Paul people who complained here at Sound Politics and those that complained at the convention get after their own people. By the way, there were a LOT of people who are part of the KCGOP as PCOs and leaders who also wanted to continue and debate. The majority of the people there WERE NOT newcomers. If the new people had showed up at the convention as well as the precinct caucuses, we could have debated the platform.

Missourian here! Thanks so

Missourian here! Thanks so much for your efforts. If we keep it up, Paul will definitely control the delegates out of Missouri.

Yes.

We certainly have the support to make it happen. The 'supporters' of the other candidates aren't nearly as passionate as those of Dr. Paul. So all we need is for our people to show up and volunteer to be delegates, and we win the state.
