Here's an update AND call to action

NO MORE LIES. Ron Paul 2012.
Hawaii, Provisional ballots not counted??
http://hawaiipoliticalinfo.org/node/5158
what happened to the first time voters?? official results are the same as last week?
thank you
I had the same question - any Hawaiians here?
Hi Blue Republic, 12 posts bellow this one
white rabbit has a update on Hawaii.
where are the samoa results?
where are the samoa results? i know from the mainstream news reports that only about 70 voters participated but what's the vote count??
just a dude that wants to be free...
Ron may have won the popular vote so we won't ever know
The Virgin Islands had the decency to report their popular vote to us but Samoa is so small that the secret will not be spilled out. As you can see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Samoa_Republican_caucu...
Info....
What is the latest best estimate of the total delegate count?

Gosh, I know absolutely
Gosh, I know absolutely nothing about this topic and should look into it, but does anyone know what the heck it takes to set up a network on tv? Like what sorts of hoops an organization needs to jump through, what sorts of licenses, fees, etc.? I imagine it's an incredibly difficult process, but I have no clue. The tv networks and the monopoly they hold is so disheartening, I wish there were a way we could fund and create a major network on tv to bypass the BS altogether(the internet networks are sweet, but I'm just wondering about what it takes to set one up on tv or to spread the word via stations like PBS).
Great idea - cable is better to start - "Liberty News Network"
I am so glad to read this comment. I am in the entertainment side, with MA in film and television production, and another post grad from American Film Institute. Broadcast over the air is difficult as you need FCC approval, takes years, cable is better. Further all cable providers must provide xx hours of public generated content weekly. So a "Liberty News Network" can start virtually immediately via cable, as long as content is available, and make impact if the content is distributed through our Ron Paul supporter network to various regional cable providers on a regular basis.
Just need to create the volunteers team. I would love to hear more about this from the supporters...
A thread on the DP of interested people in a "Liberty News Network" could be exciting !!!
I would could be a solid contributor of content and resources from my studios. It wound be great to have a 'real investigative reporter' to work with...instead of the corporate AP press feed.
"This isn't what the govern meant"
"Win the crowd and you will win your freedom"
You are smart
I have been saying the same thing. After this election cycle a bunch of us should gather and start and/or support a broadcast company. The investors would be people who donate through a money bomb and then the money could be made back through advertising, fees, etc. Sam concept would work for a paper and/or internet news source that is marketed heavily until viewrship would allow a reduction of marketing expense. These things need to be made real for a third party to carry on Paul's efforts and message.
to late at this moment in time..
once its completed we have lost the nomination and the republic.
Time is not on our side at the moment!
We need to take over the neighbourhoods and public spaces with Ron Paul information.
Super brochrues, signs, flyers everywhere...
We need to inform the public asap. They just dont know about Dr. Paul.
http://www.dailypaul.com/219753/why-we-need-to-distribute-th...
it is never late for an
it is never late for an pro-liberal network television to be setup because nothing gona end with this elections, countries don't change over night but over decades
"Pro-liberal" media
Ha, Ha, Ha - Sorry, but you have been badly abused and confused by the Rush Limbaugh, neo-con artists. It´s not "liberal" it´s war-monger media controlled by the "defense" industry.

The Big Island of Hawaii
I’d been on the DP everyday for months until the campaign asked if I was willing to coordinate the Big Island of Hawaii as a volunteer. The initial phase consisted of finding strong loyal supporters and strategically positioning them as observers and GOP volunteers at every location to ensure the count would be honest. No location was left unguarded. In the meantime we sign waved, made calls, canvassed neighborhoods, visited farmers markets, stood in high foot traffic areas passing out flyers and spoke with anyone who would listen.
I was helping other supporters place Ron Paul signs and banners outside the Caucus right up until I walked through the door in the role of Observer at 5 PM. Ours was the only presence up and down the street and at the entrance of the school library parking lot.
My district/precinct did win tonight and we took the Big Island. I personally - in one form or another – know everyone that was involved on this island. I also know many of the supporters who went out of their way to show up and vote. They are all amazing people who love and deeply respect Dr. Paul and gave this everything they could. If you were witness to their efforts, you would be very proud of them. Dr. Paul said, "May future generations look back on our work and say that these were men and women who, in a moment of great crisis, stood up to their politicians, the opinion-makers, and the establishment, and saved their country." I know that I have stood side by side with the men and women Dr. Paul is referring to and I am honored to be in their company.
I'd also like to thank those on the mainland that made ID calls and reminder calls in the final hours leading up to the caucus. You also made a big difference.
Hi white rabbit
Will the provisional ballots be counted?
http://hawaiipoliticalinfo.org/node/5158
Good Question!!!
They already have been counted.
On March 17 after I knew the Provisional Ballots had been counted, I contacted the Chairman of the GOP and pointed out that the Final Numbers released on their site do not reflect the breakdown of the "Outstanding Provisional Ballots." The next day I received a response from the Chair of the Hawaii Republican Caucus Committee telling me that they have released the Final Numbers.
This isn't true. They've released the number of regular votes and then in a separate column you can see only the total number of "Outstanding Provisional Ballots." There's no breakdown by candidate.
I immediately contacted the campaign and asked them to please do something about this. Dr. Paul won not only the Big Island, but Maui. All public records that the Hawaii GOP is releasing need to reflect this. Instead their records show that Romney won Maui.
I now have another email ready, asking the GOP to specifically update the online pdf with Final Numbers that provide a breakdown of the Provisional Ballots by candidate.
I've been asked by the campaign to wait another day before I send it as they are working on it.
I believe the count is accurate, but the way the data is being presented is misleading.
I'll keep you posted.
Elaine
Hi Elaine,
Thank you for the update.
This post says we won the big
This post says we won the big island of Hawaii, but the results show we were killed there. Anyone know what gives?
No we won the big island with 32 %
its Honolulu that's suspect @13%
Great Work!
Any feeling of the percentage of delegates your picked up in the precincts around your neighborhood? I am not seeing much about Hawaii as yet in the news feeds.
No, not yet
Hawaii is a proportional caucus state so delegates are awarded based on the amount of votes each candidate received. There are 17 at stake. Provisional votes are in transit and haven't been counted yet, but once they have been we should know how many delegates we'll get.
Thanks!
I looked at Google Map just now.... It looks like he did
pretty well and you know they wont try to let him win. I remember it took Reagan a while before he had his first win. You have to keep in mind its just a straw poll and if its like Minnesota or some other States and you are organized we should be able to get a number of delegates.
I remember Romney won the last time in 2008 but came out of MN with no delegates.
Keep Fighting!
HI is not just a straw poll.
HI is not just a straw poll. The campaigns of the respective winners will appoint the delegates.

Basic but effective
I just want to add that two of the strongest tools we had were our t-shirts and large decals on our vehicles. These attracted other supporters like magnets. I had complete strangers coming up to me to ask about Ron Paul. Those are the easy ones you don't need to persuade. Some would ask how they might be able to help and ended up being key to the campaign. Others had no idea there was an upcoming caucus and were relieved to receive the location, date and time.
I highly recommend bold gear :)
I know
some here don't like to hear it but Paul needs the (so called) Christian vote. This feels like a repeat of Huckabee from a few short years ago. As a Christian it makes me ill how the Christians are so brainwashed into not seeing how they are being played by Santorum.
The Christians are a brainwashed muslim hating/war loving/tea party/neo-con bunch that are being led to the slaughter and can't see it through the glass. I know it is about the delegates and the message and Paul is winning on those fronts but I fear the gop will cheat/lie and steal their way into another 4 years of Obama.
you are right but only possible if WE take over the information
of the masses. Information is key!
Every Paul supporter needs to take over his neighbourhood with information about Dr. Paul. This quickly adds up..

Yes!
I agree 100%. As a Christian myself (and a Huckabee supporter in 2008) it took me a while to come over to Paul's point of view , but now I see that he really is the best candidate for the Christian vote. If only we could convince others of that...
I am a Christian as well (and
I am a Christian as well (and the 'Santorum Christians' make me feel ashamed because they most likely HAVE heard of Ron Paul yet don't do the research so there's really no excuse especially if they've seen the last debate). It is very hard for me to feel compassion for their ignorance anymore.
I have been wearing my Ron Paul t-shirt every Sunday as I go to the larger mega-church in town. Yesterday I went to a big Christian fund-raising event with my Ron Paul button on my hat so no one can miss it when they see me, and with Ron Paul bumper stickers all over the car. In addition, I will be writing a plea to my Christian brothers and sisters asking that they look at Ron Paul before it's too late, and will be printing my message out and putting it on the windshield of the cars parked in the lot, along with emailing the pastors and leaders. I feel that we've gotta do these sorts of things to reach them with the message. I imagine that a comparison sheet between Paul and Santorum would be good to hand out.
I posted this
comment this morning on a patriot/mommy website that I go to but I don't expect a comment if any except maybe that they try to kill us and whateverrrrrrrrrrrr. The Paul people are the only ones with any common sense there.
As a Christian I am shocked and have been for years now how the Christians are so filled with hate over a race. Mark 12:31 The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." I am a Christian but don't believe that killing others to bring them our love and "democracy" to save them is working.
Obama will win I am fearful because the Americans are sick of this war and I think Obama will pull the troops out of Afghanistan before the election (although it will be like Iraq and not really end the wars) but Americans are to stupid to see that part.
Cafferty says it best here last night.

I wasn't expecting...
Ron to do well these states, but geez....I have no hope in the Southern States. You would think that if there were any states that would support Dr. Paul it would be the southern states. Didn't they fight a war over the sovereignty of the states? How far they have fallen!!!
Santorum is the republican equivalent of Obama, hands down. Obama is so left he wants us communist and Santorum is so right he wants a religious state.
