Ron Paul's Common Sense

Very good article about Dr. Paul written by a Chicago criminal defense lawyer and Adjunct Professor of Law at DePaul University. He doesn't agree with Dr. Paul on social issues but supports his foreign policy and his concluding paragraph is encouraging.

"It is worth listening to the GOP primary debates to hear Ron Paul give an honest assessment of our foreign policy. At the February 22 debate in Mesa, Ariz., Paul made an eloquent case against our endless wars.

First, he made the moral case: “I believe in the Christian just war theory,” Paul said. “Preventative wars are aggressive wars.” Then he made the economic case:”We’ve spent $4 trillion of debt in the last 10 years to get bogged down in the Middle East,” reminding the conservative audience that the Soviet empire was bankrupted by its military adventures. Lastly, Paul made the constitutional argument, begging the other candidates who are beating the drums for another war with Iran to do it the constitutional way: “Ask the people and ask the Congress for a declaration of war.”

This Prof L. Goodman is EXACTLY the type of Democrats

we *could persuade* or *might have convinced* to vote for our champion of common sense, Dr. Ron Paul, IF the GOP leadership were wiser enough to embrace Dr. RP and his energetic, passionate, bright youthful supporters.

The individual who refuses to defend his rights when called by his Government, deserves to be a slave, and must be punished as an enemy of his country and friend to her foe. - Andrew Jackson

That article is Propaganda

The article begins with "He's wrong on many issues" and goes on to say that.... "I disagree with Paul’s reading of the Constitution" What is Leonard Goodman's motivation for slamming the good Doctor about his common sense on

This is where the media gets it all wrong, they believe they can rewrite the constitution, and if someone comes along who believes in the constitution, they do everything possible to make that person seem "out there" in some way.

Dr. Paul is absolutely right on his interpretations of OUR CONSTITUTION, and that the Government has very limited powers granted under it, also the role of Government...
Hey, Maybe the Government doesn't like that "WE" know it's out of control, and will do anything to "SLAM" anyone who does not "believe their lies"

This article is meant to "slam" the good doctor, It could have been "ALL" Pro-Paul, but that's how the media works, Put a catchy title, and then "twist" in their slanted PROPAGANDA.

You missed the point

This article is from the Far Left *but* read his last paragraph:

"I refuse to continue supporting corporate Democrats who pay lip service to anti-poverty programs and then undermine them by protecting the profits of thieving bankers and war profiteers. The Democratic Party now lacks the visionary, principled leaders who passed Social Security and Medicare."

When liberals are slamming their own leadership (read Obama administration) and bringing positive attention to Dr. Paul's foreign and monetary policies, we are winning!
