ATTENTION NJ RESIDENTS: NJ Straw Poll Tomorrow Sept. 29th

How can JackHere already have poll results below if this straw poll hasn't happened yet? Maybe I'm just dense - it's my understanding from the website http://www.gopusanj.com/wordpress/?p=862 that this brunch with a straw poll is to happen tomorrow... I'm confused.

All surrogates have been officially authorized by their
respective campaigns to speak on behalf of the candidate and
the following have accepted so far:
Mayor Rudy Giuliani will be represented by Bill Spadea
Governor Mitt Romney will be represented by State Senator Joe
Kyrillos
Congressman Ron Paul will be represented by Dr. Murray Sabrin

Poll Results
All participants were provided with the following list of
potential candidates although they were also allowed to select
nominees who were not listed:
Sam Brownback, Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, Duncan Hunter,
John McCain, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Tom Tancredo, Fred
Thompson, Tommy Thompson
As I mentioned in the original email, the participants were
allowed to make 1-3 ranked selections for Most Desired and
Lease Desired. Those selections were weighted as follows...
1) Worth 3 points
2 Worth 2 points
3) Worth 1 point
So, for example, a candidate who received two first place votes
(6 points), a second place vote (2 point), & and three third
place votes (3 points), would receive a grand total of 11
points.
Also, keep in mind that the scoring cut-off to be included in
the lists below was 10 points. If a candidate received less
than that, his/her score was not listed.

Also keep in mind that not everyone put in 3 selections for
each area.

The official campaign doesn't acknowledge the straw poll. From what I can tell it's being run by a private third party not the official GOP. I posted a thread on forums a few days ago just to see if anyone had any more information about this, here is a link;

People have tried calling the phone number associated with the web address although the person that picks up says they don't know anything about it. Some have emailed Murray Sabrin to see what information he has on the event although no one I know has recieved a response yet. I tried calling the hotel to confirm the event although didn't have much luck getting a confirmation perhaps someone with better social engineering skills can call the hotel directly to confirm the event.

TexMac from NY was able to find out the event is being run by someone going by AJ Sparxx (a x-wrestler that went by that name, may have adopted it as his legal name). Conservatives with Attitude is a GOPUSA spin off. Somehow GOPUSA was associated with Jeff Gannon. Talon News (Gannon's fake "news" employer was an Eberle production, under the GOPUSA banner.) was set up by Eberle to give Gannon an excuse to be in the WH press conferences.

Anyway I'm trying not to spend too much time on this if possible, it's very easy to get side tracked from the goal of getting Ron Paul in the white house, not sure if this event is effective to that goal. At the same time if people decide to put up signs or have other coordinated activities around the event it maybe worth while.

After asking some questions I'm still not convinced these people aren't above scamming us, but I'm not sure if they are or not. At the very least the more information that people are uncovering leads one to believe they're pretty shady, anyway.

Oh final point, if anyone is thinking of either going to New Hampshire to do the walk with Ron Paul (only six short hours away) or the Conservatives with Attitude Straw Poll please please please go to NH, I think the campaign would probably say they need us more up there to make a difference than this non-official straw poll down here.
