Worldwide Ron Paul Sign Day *The Night of APRIL 14th*
Submitted by Matthew3306 on Tue, 04/10/2012 - 11:41Anyone remember the Monty Pythons movie, "The Life of Brian", where Brian get's challenged to write "ROMANS GO HOME" in order to become a member of the Judean People's Front and then he writes it 100 times all over the town square?
Well this is gonna be like that except to 187th power and it's gonna be global! Oh and it won't be about the Romans but it WILL BE ABOUT RON PAUL.
On April 14th after the sun sets, all Ron Paul supporters worldwide will go out into the night and set up as much Ron Paul flashy swag as they can--in the most audacious spots in town. Then when the world awakes, the day that your pointless income taxes were due, they will see the answer to their inner anguish and incomprehensible demoralization at having to be robbed everyday they work.
The morning of the 15th go out and take pictures of thy awesome spectacle and post these on social media all over the cyber world. It's a double whammy. Nerds on the couch will get it, and sheeps on the way to work will get it. Plus, we will get an incredible feeling deep in our souls knowing that we aren't the only ones in our towns who love PEOPLE.
Also, I think it will strike the fear of THE PEOPLE into the hearts and minds of the corrupt rulers, when it 'dawns' on them that Ron Paul supporters are massive, worldwide, and linked via loose networks with no central command (to be bought, corrupted, killed, etc.)

Human sign!
I believe in human sign. Not a sign plugged in on the ground and can be stolen.
Wave it near the hwy ramp of post office (the day before the due day it is lined up with a mile of cars) and intersections near IRS offices.

People won't be on their way to work as much on Sunday the 15th. As tax day has been pushed to the 17th, how about going out Monday night? Either way, I'm totally doing it.

When a angry taxpayer has a flyer on the 15th in his mailbox about Ron Pauls plan regarding to lower taxes and sees on the 16th a sign that Ron Paul wants to abolish the IRS he might get interested and even commited.

I think everyone should do it within the laws, common sense and where it is appropriate.
The idea of using the day is great.
I said it several times. It should be all about taxes in relation to Ron Paul and what is connected to the whole tax scam.

Ilike IMissLiberty's idea of a chalk walk rEVOLution. That would be a trip if everywhere in America on tax day there was stuff written on the sidewalks about Ron Paul's position on Taxes... I've never heard of seen of that kind of mass action and that , being it is legal, would be cool.

There are plenty of public places that it is perfectly legal to put up signs, including areas within the road right-of-way (on the side or in the median). There is no reason to have to put up signs on private property without the owner's permission.

WRONG!
I worked with CalTrans to ear a hwy marker fr my Grange. To do that I had to take a course on our highways and maintain the stretch I was "adopting", meaning I had the responsibily to pick up the trash, whihc includes signs. It's NOT legal, I would report it if I had to pick it up, just like I reported dead animals, or anything that was suspicious or placed, like signs without permission.
I can see law suits commng to the campaign from this... I'd sue them.
Really, I'm ashamed of this plan and it's desperado attempt.
What it tells me is that all of you who say you will participate haven't got the guts to join the GOP, go to GOP events and meetings, chair committees, become a delegate and learn Robert Rules of Order.
Instead of doing what Ron Paul has asked you to do, you do this, and it will hurt him, and all of us who followed him.

I'm not with you and I want you to know why.
I LOVE your passion and I give you allot of credit for having the passion to blanket the world in Ron Paul. In spirit I am with you, but in actually doing it, I can not be.
Even though my yard and car has been transformed into a Ron Paul statement, I am running for election in my local Republican Central Committee as a Ron Paul Republican, bringing integrity, sound money, constitutional government, peace and prosperity back to the GOP. In doing this I had to petition Republicans, and I talked with many of them asking those who liked Ron Paul and had prime real estate if they would hang a yard sign (4'x8') closer we got to the election. I have several that have said they would consider it, but I have no confirmations.
If I was to go out there and put up signs everywhere, they would say "NO". It's where I live, that if I were to do that, I would lose the respect of these people I've been working hard to get. How much intergirty is putting up signs without asking property owners permission? How much intregrity is there in putting stickers or post cards up in neighborhoods acting like a graffitti artist? How many people am I really going to get to say, "Wow I like Ron Paul?"
I don't think I will get any. I get more people by talking one on one, handing them ONE Super Brouchure at a time. Sometimes I get kinda lucky and will run into a small group. But I find what works best for me, is being a class act, being respectful of people and their property, asking permission, and being grateful for any break I get.

My thoughts exactly. This is just one of those things you guys think is cool. But it won't do anything, except maybe backfire. Sorry to be Debbie Downer, but I think this is a bad idea.
Instead of this how about we have, 'Ron Paul Conversation Day', where we all pledge to get in a conversation with someone we don't know about RP and his views? IDK, but honestly, this is just going to make RP supporters seem annoying to 98% of sheeple.

posters on the street.
whatever is legal and appropriate. All about taxes and sound money in relation to Ron Paul.
If we push this enough we might inform the campaign and they can coordinate to let ads run in the mass media that relate to the topic!
