Am I The Only One BOYCOTTING FOX AND THEIR SPONSORS?

0 votes

Based on some of the threads and posts here, I'm beginning to think I am.

I went cold turkey. I don’t watch Fox or buy any of their sponsor's products or services. Nor do I waste my time emailing them. It's quite obvious they could care less about what any of us think.

If they did, they would have invited Dr. Paul to their little party.

As far as I'm concerned they are irrelevant and can fad into obscurity.

List of Sponsors

There are two posts further down in this thread

that lists links to sponsors.

I'm not boycotting sponsors

I don't watch Fox regularly like I used to, because of John Gibson with his dishonesty about Paul and 9/11 truthers, as well as because of O'Reilly. I watch CNN now. That's about it. The market will take care of it. Don't worry about it. If the public starts seeing Fox as not as fair and balanced as they claim, they'll naturally lose viewing audience and therefore advertising revenue and sponsors. I don't see any reason to try to hurt the businesses just trying to make a buck.

I quit two weeks ago. No I

I quit two weeks ago. No I won't watch. But has anyone noticed that there's a Fox News debate in South Carolina. It's on Ron Paul's website?

You're not alone. I posted

You're not alone. I posted a list of sponsors yesterday but it got buried quickly:

same here. no more fox

same here. no more fox anything. nor are their advertisers getting my dollars.

I don't own a television for

I don't own a television for just this sort of reason. Boycott: done. However, I would like to note that Fox is owned by the same company which owns Myspace. Myspace, of course, released a widely circulated poll showing that Ron Paul was Myspace's choice for President. The company, as a whole, isn't obscuring Ron Paul's message. It's just that Fox, as a station, presents skewed coverage...just as a Myspace poll is skewed coverage.

I love Ron Paul. I'm voting Ron Paul. And if you boycott Fox, or Rupert Murdoch products as a whole, I support that decision. Let's just keep the scale of the offense in perspective.

All television news is, first and foremost, in the business of entertaining. There are generally no big conspiracies in what they do. It's just that they come up with a formula for how to present things, and a range of topics that they think the mass consumers will find palatable....and that's what is presented as "news." Fox may be especially bad, as they make no bones about skewing their news to a certain political agenda. Before, I would have said it was a "Republican" agenda, but now it seems it may be more skewed than that. Yet, still, fair things have been spoken on Fox of Ron Paul (as well as unfair things).

You are not Alone!

I have my list and I'm checking it twice.

The Protest of Fox News has its own WebSite !!!

You can read about how to get past the Fox spam filters there !

Boycott of Fox

Haven't you heard? Their stock took a 3% hit on Friday because of the boycott we think. Fox is aware of the boycott and a lot of other networks have picked up the story too. Check out the Drudge Report - Matt Drudge headlined the boycott earlier and he also headlined how CNN was rerunning the ABC debate to slight Fox's debate.

The boycott is on for Fox and their advertisers.

nope

you are far from the online one.

keep in mind that there are far more who actually do boycott or support Dr Paul for that matter than know of this site or are even willing to type a response.

I don't watch FOX at all.

I don't watch FOX at all. Period. I've got a list of their sponsors posted on my fridge door, and I don't sponsor any of them either. I've sent out e-m to everyone I know and they know about Fox, their sponsors and not to support any of them.

Thanks,

I was beginning to wonder. And it's certainly nice to know I'm not the only one. .

I am not watching Fox anymore

I do not watch TV much, but used to watch Fox. Now I will never watch them again!

Operation "change the channel" at health club, bar and gym.

This will hurt them big time.

Then it's not just you turning them off. Fairly easy to do. Just keep asking, whenever you're there, if you can watch something else.

I no longer watch

and I have sent many emails to their sponsers.

I am also telling everyone I know to do the same!

I don't watch.

And I am writing 5 sponsors a day.

I refuse to watch those

I refuse to watch those communist / Fascist / Nazi pigs at fox. I can not conjure up enough disdain for those EVIL bastages. I have also emailed all of their clients and kindlt told them since they support fox I will not support them. I so wish I could have hannity in the check out in front of me because I would surely give him the boot up his keister.
