CSMonitor article - Why is Ron Paul in the GOP RaceSubmitted by amitj78 on Mon, 03/19/2012 - 08:16
Well this was a damn good article that talks about the influence Paul's delegates will have, the fact that Paul voters won't vote for any other GOP candidate if he doesn't get the nomination, and the future of the Ron Paul Revolution. The article doesn't have much faith that the delegate strategy will lead to a nomination, but does indicate that Paul's influence on the future of the GOP will be strong; referencing two previous instances where Barry Goldwater and pat Robertson both lost the nomination, but left a lasting influence on the GOP that remains to this day.
I know the majority of us here are hoping Paul gets the chance to trounce Obama in November. But no matter what happens, his message is spreading wide and fast, and I truly feel the GOP has already been changed forever.
