Huck should be forced to answer the question that will END his career...

Huckabee has accepted the backing of John Hagee, who recently stated that, "Jesus is NOT the Messiah"!!!! Well how can Huckabee call himself a "Christian", if he does NOT believe that Christ is The Messiah??? He is a LIAR and a HYPOCRITE who is fooling good Christian people into voting for him!!! We should force this issue and demand that he answer for it IMMEDIATELY!!! And by the way, how can John Hagee continue to represent Christ when he does NOT believe that Jesus Christ IS the Messiah??? When will his "flock" wake up????

Just to evangelicals
Remember that when you point out things like this, you pinpoint a particular audience, like evangelicals. If they are so supportive of someone who is finally one of them, then point this out, that Huck spoke at Hagee's church just a few weeks ago.
I agree 100%
But i do not think the intepetation is accurate. We only have a piece of the puzzle. Hagge does beleive Jesus to be the Messiah. He was talking about justifying the Jews rejection of Jesus as the Messiah.
I happen to disagree with his postion but I understand it.
What I do not like is drive by attacks based on half quotes out of context. Then using them for political gain.
this is no different from Ron Paul
accepting money from a racist. Just because the supporter believes it, doesn't mean Huckabee does. John Hagee may be wrong about Jesus, but if he were to support Paul instead, would we be going off on this tirade and claiming that this demonstrates Ron Paul doesn't believe Jesus is the Messiah? Be sensible.
Jesus is my Lord and my God, and Ron Paul, champion of all things freedom, including religion and the free exercise thereof, is my choice for president.
No, this is different
Huckabee didn't just receive his support. He actually when to John Hagee's church and spoke there. This is akin to Ron Paul attending a meeting of the KKK and giving an address.
I didn't read that in this post
but if that is the case, it could possibly change things. Still, I'm not sure. I would have to listen to what Huckabee actually said while addressing this crowd.
Jesus is my Lord and my God, and Ron Paul, champion of all things freedom, including religion and the free exercise thereof, is my choice for president.
You have a point
While I have serious issues with Huckabee on many things, this issue may not be the "smoking gun" that many are looking for. Personally, I think how Huckabee is running his campaign is evidence enough as well as his opposition to the revival of the Southern Baptist convention in the nineties.
My biggest concern here is that people understand that Hagee's teaching is highly heretical. Whether or not this implicates Huckabee is another issue. I think there are plenty of clear-cut cases of things that Huckabee himself has done to convince people of his hypocrisy and falsehood so that we don't need to worry too much about this one.
Heretical? According to
Heretical? According to which doctrine? And so what?
Look, I fully endorse exposing Tax Hike Mike's hypocrisy, but I really dislike the assertion that this crackpot Hagee is not entitled to his beliefs. He can believe that, oh I dunno, a flying spaghetti monster created the universe. Do you believe in his monster? If not, are you a heretic? Who cares?

Jesus claimed to be the Messiah
Jesus did claim to be the Messiah.
This is a very disturbing teaching to me as it directly contradicts much of scripture. The Bible warned us of false teachers, and we need to expose them for the sake of the church. It is a sad testament to the poor leadership in the church that our congregations know so little about the Bible that they are so easily led astray.
Your tone is disturbing.
Your tone is disturbing. What do you mean "expose them"? You can point out to whatever church you want that a person doesn't behave according to your religious beliefs, but I hope you're not suggesting anyone should be shunned in any aspect of life outside your particular religious sect.
He can believe whatever he wants. He can ally himself with whatever church he wants and say whatever he wants in that capacity. And if he wants to modify your sect, he can do that too, if enough people agree and wish to follow him. That's how the Mormons started. And the Quakers. Ad infinitum. Protestantism in general. And before that, Catholicism warped the original "church" of disciples. Heck, even Islam is little more than a modified amalgam of Judaism and Christianity.
I find religious dogma incredibly distasteful, especially when it is used to pressure people in any direction. It is very authoritarian.

First she was not a Jew
She was a Samaritan.
The author is talking about the Messiah Promised to the Jews. Jesus was not the Political and military Messiah the Jews were expecing..
The clips only show a piece of the story. They are not the full story.
Read Peter's Sermon
In Acts chapter 2, Peter gives a sermon to the Jews in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost. He concludes with "Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified." Can it be made any more clear?
This is heresy, plain and simple.
That is Peter
not Jesus.
You are not listening to me.
The Jewish Messiah was ment to bring political peice and prosperity. Jesus has not yet done that. That is all Haggee is saying. The clips are out of context!!!!!
Watch Haggee on TV. The guy is a boob but he does not deny Jesus as the Messiah......
What you have is mis quote out of context. That does not impress me.
possible reasons
The MSM most likely wants Huckabee, Huckel-berry hound dog, to be the republican canidate against Clinton so that she will win. Remember how the MSM and other think, right is wrong, and wrong is right. It's backwards.

He is taken out of context.
The Jew's were promised their Messiah would be King. Hence king of the Jews.
He is saying Jesus did not come to be Messiah or King.
I would disagree with slamming Huck for this and even slamming Hagee
I agree with you.
I've done alot of studdies on religion and it is true that 'Messiah' definition in thier time were someone who got annointed with oil to be King.
Jesus's purpose was to be born as a sacrificial lamb for our sins, thus the saying 'The last lamb". And not for him to become King or rulers of the people--physical world.
Anyhow I don't want to get into this subject. Just wanted to make a point that we shouldn't slander anyone without knowing the whole story. It'll just make us look bad.
That is the point!
"He is saying Jesus did not come to be Messiah or King" - Exactly! This is heresy in the Christian/Messianic world. Unbelievable that a person would say such a thing, let alone write a book about it!

Brilliant article that explains why we love Dr. Paul:

I AM Messianic and
I do believe with all my heart that Y'shua came as the Messiah and he will come again, just not in a "secret rapture"(every eye will bear witness to His glorious appearing, that blessed hope the Apostle Sha'ul/Paul spoke of), AFTER the tribulation, not before. However, people are free to believe in YAH...or not...

Watch it 4 MORE times!!!
If you deny that Jesus Christ is the Messiah and Saviour of Mankind, you are NOT a Christian!!!! PERIOD!!!! Get an I.Q.!!!!
I would not engage here in any UNSCHEDULED theologies

First do not insult me, if you misunderstand me
I have an IQ of almost 130.
Second Jesus first advent was as suffering servant. His second advent will be as King. The Jews did not understand the difference. I have a degree in theology (associates from Calvary Chapel Bible College I graduated in 2000).
I was also just accepted into Berkley as a Grad student because I ranked top 3% nationally in ACS organic chemistry exam.
Haggee point is that the Jews were looking for a political and military Messiah, and they were partially justified. You said it best, Jesus is the Messiah of the whole world. But the spiritual Messiah. He did not come to deleiver Jews from Rome. Had he come to do that he would not have been able to save the world.
You spelled Berkeley wrong

There is a University of Berkley. It's on online university, presumably for people whose IQ is near 130.
And that was with spell Check
I have severe dislexia. I can;t spell tomarrow with out spell check
I do NOT misunderstand you...
If someone claims that Jesus Christ is NOT the Messiah and Saviour, THAT PERSON CANNOT IDENTIFY THEMSELVES AS A CHRISTIAN!!!! How many times do you need to hear this??? Huckabee's claim that he is Christian is FALSE! Hagee's claim that he is Christian is FALSE!!! I dont care WHAT your "credentials" are, YOU are either sadly misinformed, or are MORE LIKELY to be a troll for these zionist CRIMINALS!!!! Go get yourself a REAL LIFE!!! Because you are NOT fooling anyone!!!
Holy cow
I agree with you that, "If someone claims that Jesus Christ is NOT the Messiah and Savior, THAT PERSON CANNOT IDENTIFY THEMSELVES AS A CHRISTIAN!!!”
I disagree with you that, he was not doing that. You saw part of an add, a half truth. Something that happens to Paul allot. He was making a case Jesus did not come to be the Jewish Messiah. By that he means the complete fulfillment of all OT prophesies.
If we push this, we will get embarrassed. Not to mention holding Hucks feet to the fire over what one of supporters said is rediculous.
When Pres...Will he also pardon Vick?
Will this scum of a man also pardon Vick like he did his own freaky looking son?
Now that is a good 1 liner!!!
