What are Jock and Suzee going to do with the four sons who are

all voting for Ron Paul?

Are they not going to invite them to Thanksgiving, but include them all for Christmas?

Up your's, Jock and Suzee

A summary of the situation

So basically what Jack is saying is that the Republican Party has constantly been terrible to their "employee" Ron Paul. Ron Paul has been consistent for 30 years and although his ideas have defied what the "company" was trying to do, this steadfast employee stayed true to his principles and knew that the "customer" was still the most important part of the company. So now that this "employee" is about to retire but trying to go out with a bang, the "company" wants to play nice so they don't lose a huge chuck of their "customers," knowing that if they lose these "customers" will be the end of their "company." Well, no bailouts here, so I guess when the "company" goes under it will have to be all those pesky Ron Paul supporters that will have to pick up the pieces and rebuild this company that will actually have success and be a beacon in this broken land of "promise."

I just left a

piece of my mind on there. Great comments though.

Negotiating press? What a

Negotiating press? What a condescending piece of gutter trash this is. The GOP should be careful not to mistreat RP or his supporters? Ahem... yeah, right. Even if you completely ignore the possibility of fraud, that's a ridiculous assertion to make.

Weren't these people on tv a couple of months back pushing the same line?

your right gutter trash it

your right gutter trash it is...it hit me as though this is the first olive branch they are gonna hand us.....I like olives...sliced and cooked on my pizza....it almost came off as a negotiation for "giving us some attention and they will write about Paul"

There's no such thing as bad

There's no such thing as bad publicity. Especially with a guy like Paul.

Remember in "Braveheart".......

....when Longshanks distributed land and "status" to the nobels in return for conceding their freedom to England? This is the kind of world that business "kings" like Welch live in.... They think principle can be negotiated away... I worked for a division of GE and I saw first hand how a ruthless company tries to smooth over their bottom line only mentality. When the company I worked for was bought out by GE they took manufacturing away from hard working skilled people in America and sent it to Mexico so they could save a few bucks...and the quality of our product suffered and ended up damaging our reputation with our number one client. And, GE has very rigid and non-human ways of trimming the work force which they implement usually a year into a buy out...usually comprised of about 20% lay-offs. Welch and other corptocracy kings are what is wrong with our free market system...these guys sell their souls to the unholy alliance between big government and select businesses and don't care one bit about the future of our country or a healthy middle class. They don't care about American business...just the bottom line even if it is at the expense of the well being of our country.

Welch is lucky he hasn't been visited in the night by a man with a painted face on a large horse swinging an iron ball on a chain.....

"This is the kind of world

"This is the kind of world that business "kings" like Welch live in.... They think principle can be negotiated away..."
my point exactly....we can not be negotiated away or fired!

good luck with that.

The problem with their argument is Hilary and Biden were long-time party players- "team players" if you will. They can buy out Santorum easy. Paul, not so much. And Paul's followers not so much either. Paul will be civil to Romney, so that is about all they have going for them.

a brokered convention would be fun!

Ad-lib

I read the article and the only thing I like about it are some of the comments and the photo of Ron Paul.
Given how the article starts out, I would like to put an Ad-lib under the photo that says
" Ok, Mitt,Rick,... Have a seat cause this may come as a shock to you...I am your President. Now take a moment and go back to your office and place your things in a box, someone will escort you to the front door."
:)

Let it be written, that in 2012 we changed the World!!!

very funny...time to fire

Has anyone actually read the full length article?

Insulting. 30% sarcasms, 20% fallacies, 30% plain mockery, 20% disguised slander (on the way Ron Paul supporters supposedly behave when "fired") oh, and 100% speculative non sense from someone who obviously LOVES poli-tiques.

OP : WHO exactly are you? or WHICH English language can you read beyond middle school level?

I decided to tame my anger when reading, and instead I felt hurt to see how despised a good cause and man like ours can be. How mean THEY can be. And being bought when you do so doesn't excuse everything, I am sorry.

So, thank you : I'll remember.

I have very good memory.

my point in bringing

my point in bringing attention to the article was to bring attention to the responses...oh and I speak english and I am a Revolutionary, Paulbot, Patriot, American Citizen, mother, daughter, friend, aunt grandchild and reluctant Republican..with sore thumbs that type on my phone keyboard sometimes hitting the wrong key .have a nice day

Okay,

I'll try to forget, sort of. Sorry I got a bit angry. Let's blame it on my day. I focused more on the article more than on the comments some of which were good. The article is still a beautiful piece of propaganda FILTH.

Thanks for sharing, anyway.

As much as I hate the media.

I have to laugh sometimes, because so many of them, certainly this guy, honestly believe they can court us into the GOP. The GOP establishment, I think, firmly believes that they can sway Ron Paul's youthful movement into the GOP, just like the Tea Party. And isn't that just, laughable? Like, seriously, I read this article and smiled, because naivety isn't frustrating or evil, it's worth a good chuckle.

The Liberty Movement is all the people who won't be courted by the two-party system. Regardless of whatever happens, I'd say 95% of us will never again vote or agree with a Republican or Democrat (unless it's a mole/undercover/whatever). There is no way they can get our votes, they'll have to find a way to remove us like a cancer, or we're going to ruin them. It's exciting really.

So don't get angry, get excited and laugh. As long as they're naive, as long as they think we can be courted, they won't fight back as hard. As long as they're naive, we can sweep away enough power so that they can't kick us out, ever. As long as they're naive, we can win.

It doesn't hurt for anyone to

It doesn't hurt for anyone to think so. Why should they think we are any different than the religious social conservatives, or any other demographic? :)

And I do want to stay in the GOP...and there is something they can do to get my vote-give Ron the nomination.

Another Half Assed Attempt...

... to peruade us we are beaten before the battle has even begun. It is being waged and won now at county and state conventions all over the country, as people who have never bothered with the political process are getting involved, led by the example of one of America's greatest heros.

You got one thing right Jack, and that's the part about the force Paul supporters will create, and use, in the coming years.

The part you missed is how we will be using it to support our new president, and force all of the others liars and thieves already in office to get with the program, or be shuffled off the stage.

The "not going to win" talk

The "not going to win" talk is getting tired.

I Suppose

If the GOP wants to offer Ron and his supporters a meaningful position, we would accept the presidency, and nothing less. :)

AMEN!

AMEN!

I'm a Ron Paul supporter and I don't know that. It's that kind of defeatist attitude I refuse to accept.

you choose THAT comment to

you choose THAT comment to post....tisk tisk....yawn! How long did it take you to find that one sentence? it was probably written by you...Those Patriots are by far NOT defeatists! They really took the time to address their ire with the press and the notion that they know what "followers" of Paul want is something other than what has been specifically said...in other words they handed the pink slip right back and refuse to leave the building...I say go back and read and be better inspired

dang you're a

nasty person. Didn't take me any time at all to find it as it was on the first page right under the article. And how can you be so arrogant as to accuse me of making the line up when IN FACT I put the date and time so you could look it up? Or are you accusing me of being MissourianMan?
Well, it's tsk tsk right back at you for false accusations.

nasty? sorry wasnt meaning

nasty? sorry wasnt meaning that....I just think of all the comments that were passionate, precise, patriotic and devoted to Paul you would chose the comment you did that did not reflect the general mood of the responses - kinda of surprising and dismissive as was the mood of the comment of "missourianman"....wasnt accusing you of anything...

My god, those comments make me sooo proud to be part of this movement, I was lamenting on another thread about our voices being heard....collectively and there is the voices of freedom, liberty, citizenship, all united to make an impassioned plea! great stuff go take a read!

How funny!!! Why didn't they

How funny!!! Why didn't they mention the fact that is not 15%, but tied with Obama in general election by their own MSM outlet Rasmussen polls. How funny!!! Why didn't they mentioned that their own kids support Dr. Paul. This duo are for Romney since the beginning. I don't like the condescending way they speak about the movement.

thier kids support Ron Paul

yeah, that was kind of pathetic talk. But they did mention several times that their kids support Ron Paul in the video on the page with the article. That was perhaps the only positive thing on there.

The Revolutionaries handed

The Revolutionaries handed the pink slip right back to them! Quite passionately too!
