Its Official - CBS News - Huckabee Steals Speech from Dr. Paul
Well, we all know Huckabee has been stealing Dr. Paul's words, like abolishing the IRS, but now the media is picking up on it.
“We need to say no to government spending when it’s wrecking our grandchildren’s futures. Nine trilllion dollars worth of debt on your credit card that somebody transferred to the next several generations. That’s irresponsible. And what’s their answer? Spend more. Print more, spend more.”
Interestingly, Huckabee’s words sound like an issues statement on fellow candidate Ron Paul's campaign website. It's not plagiarism, but their points are quite similar: “Today, too many politicians and lobbyists are spending America into ruin. We are nine trillion dollars in debt as a nation. Our mounting government debt endangers the financial future of our children and grandchildren. If we don’t cut spending now, higher taxes and economic disaster will be in their future — and yours. In addition, the Federal Reserve, our central bank, fosters runaway debt by increasing the money supply — making each dollar in your pocket worth less.”

I have seen ALL candidates, on both "sides", stealing Dr. Paul's words and even positions. Too bad I don't buy their sincerity but ONLY Dr. Paul is the real deal. His influence is overwhelming the entire process and really proves that one person can make a difference. Huck does not have an original idea in his entire platform and folks will soon see that.

Where have I heard that before? The funny thing is that this is basically the only thing where I disagree with Dr. Paul. If you are born here, you're one of us.
The washington times calls it, "a radical step no other major presidential candidate has embraced." So either they are ignorant of Dr. Paul's position or they don't consider him a "major presidential candidate." Let's educate them and show them how wrong they are.

I am a christian, I know and respect the many that arent. I definatly owe my recent victory to my strong faith in god, I was told my petition only had 95 "good" names, I was so mad!! I prayed about it and asked god to help me defeat these devils and I called Nashville election commission and would not let up because I know 80% of my names were good. Low and behold I got a call yesterday and I was informed I will be on the ballot after all!!! After my assessment of the situation I have come to the concusion this had to be an act of GOD,how else can it be, I was told that I was SOL and now all the sudden I have won!!! AMEN!!!!! This is just one more victory for the Ron Paul Army.

A Second TV Ad for Ron Paul idea!!
Okay, Ron Paul Supporters,
Yes, it's flattery and it's says a lot about Ron Paul's message, and I have a problem with other candidates stealing messages/concepts/lines from Ron Paul to benefit their own presidential nomination! This includes Hillary, Obama, and Huckabee, and even McCain. These past two days, every headline you see is the word CHANGE or AGENT of CHANGE. The real agent of change is Ron Paul. So, the question is how do we convey/sway voters from the other candidates over to Ron Paul?
I think if the PR/Advertising Team began compiling sound bytes from other candidates stealing messages from Ron Paul's original Freedom and Hope message, we can put them together into a single TV Ad spot for the entire nation!!! Ron Paul - the original Agent of Change and the only candidate calling for sharp turns and is talking about significant changes and addressing real issues!!
Finally, Ron Paul is the most truthful presidential candidate out of all of them and he the only one that has INTEGRITY and is sticking to his principles and his philosophy on the Freedom and Hope message has been consistent from day one!
Ron Paul PR/Advertisting Team - How Can we make this happen? How can we communicate this message? How can we turn this into a major TV AD?
I motion that the PR/Advertising team seriously consider a TV ad around these ideas!

Imitation is the greatest form of flattery.
On the positive side, Huckabee's borrowed rhetoric shows that Dr. Paul's ideas are indeed making a lasting impact on the American people.
Whether Dr. Paul wins or not, every vote and every dollar he receives will have a corrective influence on the political system and the ideas that prevail in our country.

Say Yes to Doctor NO - Commercial Pitch
Scene is a busy Emergency Room with lots of beds. You hear Dr Ron's voice out of camera view say "what's wrong here" nurse. Out of camera a gruff nurse says "they keep telling me different things.. story keeps change'n". Next we see Dr Paul with a clip board, wearing surgeon green, looking over a bed (you see some legs under the sheets but no faces)
You hear Huck (actual audio) talk about how we need to fix the fed. You hear Fred talk about our constitution, same with Rudy and Romney. Ron nods with a BIG SMILE to all the patients and say's he also agrees with them. (groans in back ground heard... um hummm in agreement).
Now ron says again "we know what ails you all and we all agree what we need to do to fix you all". I want to know how you all got in here together and how we can keep you out of here in the future ????
We never see any faces except Dr Rons. Now we have a celeb show up as Nurse Toughie ( reporter Helen Thomas with lipstick in candy stripes yes) and Ron says looking at charts (show fiscal charts) that it looks like they SPENT their way in here. Nurse Tough quirps ritght back.... I've seen these fellows in here before... they... never... listen....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(we could touch on the war, but that is not the main issue with joe public... hit the economy, hit it hit it hard. Ride on Ron Paul's proud history as a doctor).

Look at how the Daily Show and Colbert cut thru and deliver the TRUTH.
Our once great country is headed south really quick. The pubic has a hard time handle'n the truth and it really needs to be dispensed like kids cough surup. As a excellnt example the new Ron Paul Lego ad is brilliant...! Also note that when someone is down and out, or they are in a hospital, a good dose of humor has been proven to speed recovery.
Look how far Huck is riding his parody with Norris. The public is eating the Huck/Norris ads up. I'm out here with boots on the ground and I'm growing weary running into the huge walls of this media blackout. Today I spoke with about 40 teenagers and only one had ever even heard the name Ron Paul.

Not that I support Huckabee, nor would I ever vote for him but can you blame him? Politics is a game as much as it is a passion, or anything else. Ron Paul has a massive VERY passionate group of people not to mention he's able to rake in the dough.
Huckabee is smart, he's basically playing Ron Paul's domestic policy with the Neo-Con agenda BUT he's smart to wrap it into his religious background. If Huckabee can sell himself as a man for the people and with integrity (like Ron Paul) AND he's able to win over the pro war croud then he's going to get further than he ever could if he tried to go a different route.
So is Huckabee stealing? Of course, but who can blame him? It's my opinion that he wants to get all the Ron Paul republicans that will not follow RP ig he goes third party or finally gets hijacked to the point that he cannot continue... Imagine if Ron Paul were out of the race tomorrow there are many many die hard Republicans that would look for an alternative and Huckabee is trying to cash in on that support....

Huckabee: Get Rid Of The IRS
He has been saying that a long time and wants to replace it with the "fair tax" - which isn't realistic. He didn't take that from Ron Paul.
However it is clear Huck more than others seems to be studying Paul success and trying to incorporate some of his position.

I told my husband, look how intently Huckamuck watches and listens to what Dr. Paul is saying. He's memorizing it so he can use it later!
on the CBS debate - Huckamuck was staring right at Dr. Paul when he was speaking.
When they had an opening speech, and Huckabust started talking about the Constitution et all, I thought - even then - he stole Ron Paul's platform.
