Korn Frontman Wants Ron Paul For President

http://www.politico.com/b...

Jonathan Davis, lead singer for hard-rock band Korn, wants Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul to replace President Obama in the White House.

During an appearance at Ramstein Air Base in Germany last week, Davis was asked, “Out of the four Republican candidates and Obama, who would you prefer to be president?”

“Ron Paul," he replied. (The conversation was filmed and posted on YouTube.)

Last year, the musician knocked President Barack Obama calling him “an Illuminati puppet” in an interview with Billboard.com. “He’s basically dragged this country down into the worst it’s ever been,” Davis said. “Like I say about the White House, ‘You’ve built this house of shame.’ Everybody looked up at the White House and America, and now I think it’s like a house of shame. I miss the old days when people were proud to be American.”

Although I love all types of

Although I love all types of rock and metal... these people don't make great endorsers.

Besides, a freak'n satanist??? What is he 12 or something? In my mind all religion is lame, but a grown man calling himself a satanist is beyond lame it's hilariously ghey!!!

"Oh look at me, I'm anti-social, I'm a satanist, look at my tattoos, fear me!!!" LOL!

He said he was a "Satanic

He said he was a "Satanic Christian" ... he was joking... he's probably an Agnostic and/or Atheist... I don't care either way.

Since when does your religion

Since when does your religion make you a good person or a good endorsement? Not all "satanists" are kids who do it to be "cool". Maybe you should research a little bit instead of spewing ignorance. Also maybe re-evaluate your holier than thou attitude.

Someone Needs To Make a Distinction Here

There is a huge difference between the religion of Ron Paul, Christianity, and Luciferianism. It is literally the difference in light and darkness. Christianity says that Christ was the one time sacrifice for all sinners who would believe in Him. Satanists still sacrifice innocent children, adults and animals to Lucifer. Satanism is not harmless. Satanists do these things to achieve fame and power in this life, and many who fight against Ron Paul are Luciferian, especially those who are pro-war. Some of these pretend to be Christians. And you can have Christians who are deceived by so-called "Christian preachers". The preachers are many times deceived themselves, and others have sold out for worldly gain. They are not alone. Check out the rock stars on Youtube who will openly tell you that they have made a bargain with the Devil. Satan is real, and is pleased when ignorant people deny God's and his own existence. There is all the difference in the world in a belief system that says to "do unto others as you would have them do unto you"-Christianity-and "do as thou wilt"-Satanism or Luciferianism. I have studied the differences for decades. You have no bigger believers in Jesus than Satan and his demons. They fear God and "tremble" at the mention of His name. Satan is the "Prince of this World", and he is very powerful, but his power is temporary and limited, whereas the power of Jesus is infinite. I would suggest that you, like Ron Paul, get on the right side, although it is certainly your choice.

Fed-Up

contradiction?

Isn't it a little contradictory to preach civil liberty and individualism on one hand, then denounce "those people" as anti-social satanists on the other? It just seems a bit collectivist to me, that's all.

All religion is collectivism.

All religion is collectivism. He should have said "none!" Liberty and freedom do come with social responsibilities, in that you mind your own business and I'll mind mine, you stay on your side of the fence, and I'll stay on mine... the media is tricky though, especially entertainment, because when you become a "public figure" you voluntarily give up your freedom and liberties because you are in the public space. I'm offended by his religion, and I'm hurt by it, so because of this I should be compensated. I don't want to hear about it because it bothers me, and he's in the public space cramming it down my throat so he should shut up and keep it at home!

Remember, Ron Paul is not an anarchist, and liberty and freedom do carry responsibilities.

There is nothing wrong with

There is nothing wrong with voluntary collectivism. Something that separates libertarians from the left is that in a libertarian society a commune may exist, whereas in a communist society, true individualism may not.

I agree. Paul is not an anarcho-capitalist. I think he's more properly philosophically defined as a minarchist.

I think one of the guys from KORN

became a Christian a few years back. Yeah, maybe not a great endorsement, but I don't think they are all so bad. Oh, just saw that clip...got you...yep...doesn't really look that appealing! Some don't care, but some will! Doesn't really matter though, we are all fighting for the same thing!

I wish that was some kind of

I wish that was some kind of major endorsement, but probably does worse to make us all look like a bunch of kids who want drugs and prostitution, as they say. I'm happy for the support, but its non-news really.

I feel your statement is very

I feel your statement is very similar to the way neocon republicans feel about Ron Paul republicans joining their party, minus being happy for the support.

its great when we follow up and recrute korn fans that may

want to engage in supporting RP. We have a place for everyone.

I do have to wonder if the interviewer is Anti-Paul - I mean...

...Why would you ask what religion someone is in the same interview you ask who he supports politically?

What difference does THAT make? Is this a hit piece?

But kudos to Davis for endorsing Ron Paul anyway.

The guy has a head on his shoulders and he gets it.

I think your right

They will try to use it against him in some way maybe.

he is a intelligent guy.

Speaking of rock 'n' roll:

Speaking of rock 'n' roll: Has anyone yet heard the new Say Anything album, "Anarchy, My Dear"?

I'm curious if it's a true embrace of freedom -- i.e., anarcho-capitalism -- or if it's just that lame, confused, leftist version of "anarchy" that so many punk bands blindly advocate.

i wouldn't brag about that

korn sucks. sorry dudes, it's just a fact. next thing ppl will be posting the ICP supports ron paul, lol. keep that shit on the dl hahaha

Juggalos for Dr. Paul

To the couple of posters spreading misinformation,

the guy's NOT a satanist and he doesn't believe in organized religion. We don't like it when people spread misinformation about Ron Paul being a racist or not caring about national defense, so don't be hypocritical & know what you're talking about before spreading lies.

We could use a big donation from him.

I think he is looking for a big donation from Ron Paul's youth support base. Just a thought.

Stop feeding the propaganda machine. Turn off your TV.

Sounds like an engineered

Sounds like an engineered attack video on Ron Paul:

Who do you endorse?

What is your religion?

Since when is "What is your religion" a standard question you ask someone? They should have labeled the video what they really wanted to: "Satanist endorses Ron Paul!"

this will sound great in

this will sound great in media " satanic christian endorses ron paul "

Celebrity endorsements are

Celebrity endorsements are worth their weight in dog crap for a candidate like Ron Paul. Here's another that the media will use to remind people of the snoop dog endorsement and Ron Paul's "drug legalization" platform.

*sigh* why we are supposed to care, I don't know.

Stop feeding the propaganda machine. Turn off your TV.

Do you know how many fans

Korn has? This is huge and should bring in more young supporters. I'm 45 and I love Korn, see young supporters LOL.

Been a korn fan since the

Been a korn fan since the first album! Follow the leader and issues really helped me in my teenage years! I would have to say it is a no brainer that jonathen davis/korn would support Ron Paul but I am glad he has done it in public and on camera!

If you are going to buy an album i recomend you buy their first self titled! But they are all great in their own way!
