How did you discover Ron Paul?

Read about him on World Net Daily - Vox Day column. Then went to the internet and read more. My dream ticket would be Paul/Keyes.

My friend was actually mocking RP and calling him a kook after we watched his appearance on The Colbert Report. After this I did some more research and really grew in my support of RP. Now all I have to do is convert my friend.

A doctor I answer phones for mentioned that I should go online and check out this Ron Paul fellow. At the time I was apathetic and pretty certain I would never even register to vote, ever. Now you couldn't stop me from getting to those polls on primary day. This same doctor mentions RP to his patients all day long, and tells them to search the internet. For those who don't have it (hey, we're in Arkansas), he has pamphlets, etc. to hand out. God bless the Revolution!

I was researching "Impeach Bush" web sites after the 2004 stolen election and stumbled on his speech "Neo-Conned" that he gave to Congress in 2003 & it was BRILLIANT and made me a Fan instantly. Then after watching Aaron Russo's "America Freedom to Facism" I had been telling my wife that if he runs for President we MUST vote for him. The rest as they say is History...

I first heard of Ron Paul through the Alex Jones Radio show, but it was Myspace that I found out that he was running for president, been a supporter ever since..

I started reading Ron Paul back in '79/'80 when I began studying Austrian Economics. It was the late '70s when inflation was rising dramatically that got me interested in learning to protect my assets.

She was wearing "Ron Paul 2008, Hope For America" shirt. I researched him and couldn't believe what I found. The only presidential candidate (besides him the first time) that I nearly 100% agreed with.

Dr Mercola's health newsletter. Dr. Mercola is all about exposing the FDA corruption. He had the google interview with Dr. Paul linked in his newsletter. I watched half of it and my hard drive died and it was almost a week before I could get online again!!! But I was pretty sure I was sold anyway!

A friend spoke to us about Ron Paul with tons of passion. We did are research and we also became passionate supporters of Dr. Paul.

on an overpass in the town where I live. It said "GOOGLE RON PAUL". Later that week I saw a car at a shopping center near where I work covered with Ron Paul stickers. Both those things made me look Dr. Paul up. I researched his platform on the internet and was blown away. I am almost 47 years old and I have never voted for President because I didn't want to cast my vote for someone I couldn't believe in. Dr. Paul truly cured my apathy.

Ron Paul for President!!

I saw him in his interview in America:Freedom to Fascism and forgot about him. When I saw him on TV 3 months ago and heard he was running for Pres I about freaked out. So am a new comer.

i was actually against Ron Paul at first on certain issues... but then I woke up and took a good look at the big picture.

In about 2002 two friends of mine discovered Ron Paul and told me about him. My friends had just started the College Libertarians on our college campus. About a year later I got to see him in person speaking at an Austrian Scholars Conference at the Ludwig von Mises Institute in Auburn, Alabama. Also discovered by my two friends and passed onto me. I've also had the chance to see Lew Rockwell in person and many of the other good folks who've been in the trenches fighting for liberty for a long time.

About two years ago, when I started to research how some really nasty laws were getting passed in Congress (IMBRA and VAWA), I started to read about exactly who voted for them so I could know what could be done, politically, to stop the horrifying trend toward fascism.

What I found horrified me even more:

Long lists of 428 Congresscritters in the "Yea" column and
3 or 4 Congresspeople in the "Nay" column. It was often Ron Paul, Tom Tancredo and two Democrats (one from Georgia and one from California, both of whom were voted out of office).

The Senate roll-call was always 100-0 on these laws. John McCain, lionized for knowing how to "compromise" with the Democrats, seems to have brokered the acquiescence of the Republican Party on all laws related to social affairs (feminist concerns, evangelist concerns) in return for acquiescence of the Democratic Party on all matters related to the Iraq War.

Ron Paul came to my attention because he was not running this racket where the Republicans and Democrats were pretending to disagree on the Iraq War and then trading Democrat "support" for that at the price of giving Republican "support" for a lot of really intrusive laws that Democrats love because they are the enemies of natural law (Democrats believe that a simple majority can take a right away).

love that show. That's how I found out about RP back in May or June. Then I saw a rerun from when he was on The Daily Show, not more than a week or so prior.
Aside from the jester-like delivery, those two shows are about the best source of news one can get on the boob-tube these days. I miss them (b/c of the writer's strike). How convenient that those shows should be absent in this most important of times.
