False. Do more research

I spent the last hour checking into this.

It looks like the bill that finally passed didn't have this in. It was HR 4872.

Please show the bill that passed that has it included. I couldn't find it. But it is scary knowing that they actually wanted to include it. We need to be vigilant.

Good Comment

I do not have time to go through and try to understand the massive legislation.

But, it would seem to me, that there would have been Republican campaign ads talking about how their Democratic opponents voted to inject every American with cancer-causing digital memory devices.

Further

problem is that these types of posts make it on DP all the time. What is horrifying is that because they fit the 'world view' of many they just assume the 'facts' are as described and blindly post based on that. You would think RP supporters would be better at doing due diligence.

I honestly think there are outsiders posting these types of messages on here just to stir the pot and make DP (and by proxy, google searches) and RP look more extreme and crazy to potential supporters.

Snopes is not to be trusted, especially if the assertion is

against anything a Democrat does, or is against anything statist in nature.

They are not objective and have been caught in outright lies.

That doesn't mean they aren't right on this one, I just wouldn't use them as a source.

With the election of Ron

With the election of Ron Paul, we won't have to worry about being chipped.

No, that is not true. Ron Paul is not a savior. We still have

to do our own heavy lifting.

Having him in the White House will help tremendously, but we are up against a hydra with tentacles everywhere.

Our freedom is our responsibility - not Ron Paul's.

Good old "Mark of the Beast".

You do realize, don't you, that RFID devices have been linked to CANCEROUS tumors in animals.

That would be my trip point. I'd use deadly force to prevent this from happening to me.

Nope...Not the Mark!

Definitely NOT the "mark of the beast"
That is spiritual language! Read Revelation 14:1...do you think that there will be a physical mark of God's children on their forehead? Nope!
The mark of the beast is something that is saying in essence " I will not serve Christ, but I will serve this world and all that it has to offer at all costs and to whom ever I must.... but not Christ!
It is from the heart, not a physical mark.
All the world is already bearing either the mark of the beast, or the mark of Christ.
God Himself knows who they are and they will be seperated as sheep from the goats come harvest time!

" In Thee O Lord do I put my trust " ~ Psalm 31:1~

Not correct. In fact, RFID is the most likely candidate.

Because the original Greek word used in that verse more correctly translates to "stick under" or "stick into" rather than "mark."

Interesting that not until very modern times, was this even technically possible.

However, a tattoo if I understand it correctly might also fit this translation since the ink is technically under the top layer of skin.

Not every verse should be read literally, but not everyone should be read figuratively either. Context is most important here.

If the "mark" in whatever form will be required in order to "buy or sell" then it obviously must be a physical mark of some type and not merely the esoteric or figurative "not following Christ" version as you point out.

If Christians are singled out as a group and somehow shunned entirely from society, they must be identified in some physical fashion. That requires an actual "mark."

To Mark or not to mark?

Do you believe what you are saying comparing Scripture with Scripture, or are you just saying what most so called evangelical Christians are taught?
There will be NO physical mark for Christians or non Christians.
You can believe the dramatic details that many hang on to and spread around but it is all fiction and misunderstanding of the book of Revelation.
No, I do not know everything in the Bible as does nobody else, but I do know that it is all spiritual language that ties into all other parts of the Bible.
It's not going to be ...will you or will you not take a chip under your skin...
It will be, do you or do you not deny the Christ of the Bible that will try one, not taking some mark. That is what will seperate belivers.....TRUE believers from the rest of humanity.
Those who serve Christ will suffer ( as we do now ) whatever comes against followers of Jesust Christ and His gospel of salvation.
All according to God's plan for us.
I do know that whatever the suffering that comes will only be for a short while compared to an eternity of glory!
Fear not Christians!

" In Thee O Lord do I put my trust " ~ Psalm 31:1~

Yes, there is context concerning true believers and those who

reject Christ, but there is also clear and unequivocal context on how this will be played out.

You are blatantly ignoring that and cherry picking the language to say what you want.

I recall an admonishment about subtracting or adding to the Word. I prefer to take it as it is, thanks.

And in closing, I do not appreciate you trying to ascribe someone else's positions to me. Did I say anything of the sort? No. Save your strawmen for someone who is clueless on that tactic. It won't work on me. Either stick to what I post to argue with, or I will not bother any more with this discussion as there would be no point.

That's all right. Cancer treatment is mandated by Obamacare...

That's all right. Cancer treatment is mandated by Obamacare... unless that cancer emerges from HHS-mandated RFID tagging, I bet.

You and the rest of us are the tiny, insignificant minority of grouchy old-fashioned complainers who never want to cooperate with the betterment of health.

The VAAAAST majority of morbidly obese Jersey Shore worshippers will get RFID'd because Snookie will be flashing her cool tattoo and getting her prescription automatically ordered and delivered on screen.

Everyone will want the cool convenience, the flashy sexiness, of the HHS/RFID tag.

And it will be a good twenty years before the first cancers start taking away participants' arms. By that time, the hip unemployed kids will already have learned the hard way just how effective those tags are toflag them when they went to those austerity protests.

Now their permanent federal employment record at the DOL has them tagged as "subversive" and liable for civic awareness education classes if they ever want to get a job...!
