Doug Wead Blog: How Ron Paul’s delegate strategy is actually working

I have never started a thread before but this is superb:
http://dougwead.wordpress.com/2012/03/27/the-ronulans-are-am...

What's more is how important this could be and is:

"Theoretically, if they could unite, a Santorum-Paul deal could split the whole delegation to Tampa and deny Romney all but a few."

If Dr Paul delegates can do this nationwide, putting Romney in a position in Tampa where he must choose whose VP he wants to be, who is he going to choose?

P.S. If this is felt to contradict Sun Tzu, I invite and welcome a mod takedown.

Weeeaaad!

I love me some Wead.

The way the deal will go down.

In the end, Santorum, Newt and Mitt will all make nice friends. Under the GOP hands of "strategy", they will strike a deal for Santorum and Newt to throw all their support and delegtes to Mitt, trying to box out Ron Paul for good....but will it be enough?

I know from where you come...

and as much as I can relate to your attitude, let's move away from the conspiracy theorizing and look at it for the game it likely is.

You think Santorum will sacrifice himself for Romney if he ends up at the RNC with more delegates than Romney? No, he will fight.

Dr Paul can continue to build his relationship with Romney while we work tirelessly with Santorum supporters to take him out.
