You all HAVE to see the ENTIRE video, before making any judgment, unlike most of comments here I've seen on Adam's coverage of the "reason rally" without even knowing the fact that he was born a Jew and converted to Islam after coming back from Iraq, and was using sarcasm and the Socratic method to point out hypocrisy, which was apparently lost on many.

You NEED to hear what allegedly happened between Ron's Granddaughter Valerie and her hubby Jesse Benton.

Very interesting internal politics on Adam, Benton, Tate, Hopper, and Wead, yup him too.

Perhaps it's time Jesse Benton gets TRULY SCRUTINIZED, for real. Adam is a lot of things, but a liar is NOT one of them.

If

http://youtu.be/kJxPftt_1G0 Woods, who has earned my trust FAR more than John Tate or Jesse Benton ever could, thought Dr. Paul should've NEVER hired Jesse Benton for RP2012, after what happened in 2008

, it's time for that half-time re-assessment, IMHO.

Thanks, Archie...but

My point is that there are still real republicans (SMALL r) in the party, and we are, AFTER ALL, trying to win the Republican nomination, not the Libertarian Party nomination.

Marginalizing all but Libertarians within the "Ron Paul Movement" (which I hesitate to use, because it's really the LIBERTY MOVEMENT, isn't it?--something the Republican Party USED TO BE ABOUT) isn't really helpful, IMHO...

I can work with Constitutionalists though, no matter what other labels they may want to give themselves (though I personally prefer/preferred the Articles of Confederation.)

Everyone knows best

5 members of my immediate family switched from Democrat to Republican solely to vote for Ron Paul. 4 of my neighbors switched from Democratic party. Several of my friends did the same/voted for the first time.

I had a Hell of a time convincing several of them that he is not a religious nut job. The social conservatives scare a huge segment of people who are otherwise for free markets. Rebublicans are to blame for their unpopularity.

Can we all please stop giving our stupid advice and get back to fighting the real enemies?

May I say

that perhaps the media makes Christians look like religious nut jobs on purpose to keep us all divided.

You go first. : )

libertarian

Why aren't you a libertarian? Why don't you agree with the aggression principle?

Paleoconservatives don't believe in military

aggression unless it's absolutely vital and necessary to the defense of this nation (like maybe if we had intelligence information that North Korea was fixing to launch an attack on Hawaii and Alaska and the North Koreans were refusing to negotiate or even talk with us.) Iow, we don't believe in military aggression or imperialism of any kind, but unlike a lot of libertarians, we wouldn't wait till we saw the planes coming over the horizon to do something about it.

bear's picture

Yup

Yup

I'd Wait Until The Planes Were Overhead

The alternative can be the kind of "intelligence" that lead us into Iraq.

bear's picture

Yup

Yup

That's true.

But, in the case of a nuclear-armed nation like N. Korea, waiting until you see the planes coming could be fatal to the lives of hundreds of thousands of Americans that might had been prevented had we declared war on them first and made a preemptive strike.

Imagine If They Preemptively Struck Us In This Way

Only to have it be later proven that their intelligence was wrong.

Commerce with all nations, alliance with none.--Thomas Jefferson

Well, that would be the imortance of

our intelligence being superior to theirs. Hopefully, we could find out ahead of time that they were going to preemptively strike us and we could preemptively strike them before they got the chance. Once again, this is why it is important that Congress officially declare war on nations before we attack them. If we had intelligence that North Korea is planning on attacking us, that intelligence would have to be pretty sound in order to convince a majority of Congress that we should declare war on them.

Not This Congress

They'd go to war in the drop of a hat. They never want to err on the side of caution, lest they be branded weak.

The will of the people means little.

Commerce with all nations, alliance with none.--Thomas Jefferson

Congress reflects the people since the people elect them.

If we were attacked by another country and Americans found out afterward that our government had intelligence indicating we were going to be attacked, but didn't do anything about it, that would definitely end any chance of any non-aggressionist/interventionist from ever getting elected to Congress or the White House ever again.

Ron Pauler's represent ALL THE DISENFRANCHISED VOTERS

They represent all Americans who are fed up with big government, big bailouts, and crooked politicians.

So, we're not just a "Ron Pauler". We're disenchanted Americans of all persuasions, but especially Republican.

We all need to remember that. WE're not some isolated "group". And, THAT is EXACTLY why the "elite establishment" hates many Americans and wants totalitarian control over all of us. They are elites. And, they have nothing but contempt for Americans who are fed up with the bureaucrats, the FED, and their corrupt political friends.

I agree there are probably egos involved inside this campaign. Who knows? Maybe, Jesse Benton was jealous of Tom Woods and had him booted out of the decision-making. Just a guess!

Hero worship, money, drunken domestic violence

are what comprise my typical weekend. Just kidding!

I may not agree with everything Adam said or how he said it, but he was passionate and speaking from the heart. I also believe he was being honest and the Paul campaign would benefit from giving what Adam said some serious thought. Imagine the kind of momentum the campaign could have had if they had taken Tom Woods up on his offer to be more involved... especially as a debate coach. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJxPftt_1G0&hd=1

Friends, I see some talking about 2016 already. With the NDAA, whatever laws and executive orders are around the corner, and the likely financial collapse of the dollar and what ensues, I think this very well could be our last shot. I think I am going to take Adam's advice about keeping my money and efforts local, and if enough people did so and expressed why, that's what gets peoples' attentions, like all the other boycotts I see encouraged on here. Like the AC/DC song says, "money talks". I'm not a huge fan of Eminem, but this thread reminded me of the opening of one of his songs:

Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted-One moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip?

I WIll Say Just This Much For Now

Tom Woods should absolutely 100% for sure been involved with the campaign. He would have been an amazing debate coach, at the very least.

Commerce with all nations, alliance with none.--Thomas Jefferson

Agreed, Tom Woods is

Agreed, Tom Woods is excellent. Highly professional and very smart. Would be a great asset. He blows Jesse Benton away.

I don't care if it is true or not, it is divisive

WOW, be careful of this.

I'm with you

Dr.K

" In Thee O Lord do I put my trust " ~ Psalm 31:1~

Whether or not it proves to be divisive

has yet to be determined. Ron Paul, has implied on numerous occasions that he is "sheltered" for lack of a better word, from some of the more day to day activities of the campaign. I hope this video makes it's way to Dr. Paul and that it inspires him to take a more hands on approach. At the end of the day I do not expect this will happen and it's too bad. This could be the moment many of us have been waiting for, it could also be Liberty's Waterloo. Am I being too dramatic?

I'm really hoping Nystrom

doesn't pull the plug on this post, I think it's a possibility though. It would be a disastrous mistake.

Why can't we vote down on this?

Is this particular thread being run by Diebold?

" In Thee O Lord do I put my trust " ~ Psalm 31:1~

I voted down your comment just fine.

πολλα γαρ πταιομεν απαντες ει τις εν λογω ου πταιει ουτος τελειος ανηρ δυνατος χαλιναγωγησαι και ολον το σωμα

You misunderstood my question

My question is why can't we vote down on THIS TREAD....not on one another's comments!
Why I ask? Nobody seems to have an answer!

Michael removes people for posting VULGARITY on this site, and yet this topic points to vulgarity!
Anybody, I don't care who it is, that speaks like this with the constant using of the "F" word, deserves no respect nor platform on this forum!

" In Thee O Lord do I put my trust " ~ Psalm 31:1~

Agreed...

I didn't realize Adam was so profane. It makes a big difference, I used to respect him. Filthy, vulgar mouthed people lose all credibility with me, and I'm confident Ron Paul won't be impressed either. It's not all that surprising, though, since the equally profane Scott Horton seems to be a hero of his.

under the circumstances

and for a former Marine
who is clearly trying to keep his cool but experiencing
deep frustration.. I'd say he kept the profanity to near
minimum.

at this point I'm far more impressed with Adam Kokesh
than with Jesse Benton

I understood your question :)

the best answer is that the page did in fact record your vote, it also refreshed when you cast your vote to reflect other up votes that were being cast simultaneously.

As far as Adam's language is concerned, I guess we all have our own definitions in regards to what is or is not considered vulgar or profane. I'm personally much more concerned with what Adam had to say, than I am with his use of "colorful" language, but I'm easy like that.

πολλα γαρ πταιομεν απαντες ει τις εν λογω ου πταιει ουτος τελειος ανηρ δυνατος χαλιναγωγησαι και ολον το σωμα

Hold on a second.

It's not necessarily a problem with Jesse charging expenses. This is very dishonest of Adam. He ran a campaign. He knows it's legitimate to charge expenses and then get reimbursed. That doesn't mean someone was paid that money. I do it all the time at work for work expenses and charge them in. And it's COMPLETELY legitimate.

A private plane rental can run $5000-$25000 just for one leg of a trip. So it's easy to envision a one weekend sweep trip to visit states, rallies and the grassroots running $50000 or more if you include hotels, meals, etc. What about renting a venue? What about paying for an ad?

Not everything is paid off an invoice. I could say what I wrote above is EASILY $100,000.

So, Adam doesn't really tell the whole story, just the parts he uses to try to make a point that he doesn't really make, meanwhile semi-disinforming people on this point, which is divisive.

I don't deny that the campaign or Jesse doesn't deserve some criticisms, but this one about the charges is not completely honest.

The Air Needs To Be Cleared

So, the Campaign can move it up a notch or two..

Not running a campaign myself against Benton, but.. he's not qualified for the position based on: doesn't have the mentality for it, i.e. lacks professionalism.

Other than that, this video, what I cared to peek at, has been given the: Soap Opera Alert.
