Ron Paul's International Support Keeps Growing
Submitted by Michael Nystrom on Wed, 09/19/2007 - 21:56Thanks to Grant Johnston who emailed me with a slew of international Ron Paul blogs. The list of sites on the blogroll on the front page now contains fifteen (15!) international blogs! What other candidate - Republican or Democrat can boast this kind of support?
International Blogs:
Asia for Ron Paul
Bavaria for Ron Paul
Belgians for Ron Paul
Brits for Ron Paul
Brazilians for Ron Paul
Canadians for Ron Paul
Chile for Ron Paul
French for Ron Paul
Europe 4 Ron Paul
Holland 4 Ron Paul
Hungary for Ron Paul
Indian & Pakistani Friends of Ron Paul
Poland for Ron Paul
Romania for Ron Paul
Venezuela for Ron Paul
Grant also notes: "I discovered, by observation in meetup.com (http://ronpaul.meetup.com...), that a city gets a white pin, when 3 or more people are waiting for a meetup group. When the pin is white, no one has to pay. You only have to pay if a meetup group is started (it is not mandatory to start a group if interest is expressed). The pin then changes to red.
It would be nice to at least have a white pin for each of the countries that have Ron Paul supporters (Brazil, Romania, etc.). Unfortunately, I cannot find contact information for them on their websites, to tell them how to get it.
If you have an email address for any of them, please let them know about this, or provide me the email address. It would be nice to increase our international presence on the meetup.com map, even if the pins are only white.

Where's Mexico?
I wonder if Mexico is missing from this list because they would continue benefitting from our welfare state?
Same for Israel

Overseas people for Ron Paul
It can only benefit Ron Pauls Presidential campaign here in the USA, to say nothing of creating an immense resevoir of goodwill--lost during the insanity of the current Presidency--to have people overseas support Dr. Paul and the wisdom of his America first foreign policy.
Certainly efforts to educate people overseas of the Ron Paul Presidential run here should be expanded and encouraged wherever possible.
Who knows, there might even be a resurgence of European and Asian localist and nationalist awareness inspired by Ron Paul and this movement here, and the reactivated traditions among people there would put the deathblow to the sundry conspiracies and policies of the World-Government Globalist criminal and corporate elites who have created such mischief since WWI!!
A worldwide discovery of freedom, private property, honest hard money and local strictly limited government would certainly be an improvement over what we now have!
PEACE AND FREEDOM!!

Number of interested people
Although there are many exceptions to this rule on the meetup map, Meetup.com told me today that 4 people must be interested in a meetup group, for a marker (white pin) to appear on the map.
