Newt's Campaign Chief is married to D.A. Who Prosecuted Israel CriticsSubmitted by Resistance_2009 on Thu, 03/29/2012 - 21:04
Birds of a feather flock together, or so the old adage goes. In this case, perhaps a better comparison would be "sleep with dogs and you will get fleas". This couldn't be more perfectly illustrated than by the latest revelation involving smarmy political bedfellows.
Remember the case of the "Irvine 11"? They were a group of Muslim college students in Southern California who 'dared' to disrupt a speech by Israeli ambassador Michael Oren at UC Irvine on February 8, 2010. The students were eventually criminally charged and convicted on all counts. A key player in this prosecution was Susan Kang Schroeder, Orange County District Attorney
Tony Rackauckas' Chief of Staff and media relations director.
Newt Gingrich's California campaign director, Michael Schroeder, is the former California Republican Party Chairman. He is married to Susan Kang Schroeder,
the infamous D.A. who held a private, closed-door meeting with a rabbi right before filing criminal charges against pro-Palestinian college students who criticized Israel.
After the outburst during Oren's speech, the "Irvine 11", as they came to be known, were kicked out of the meeting and later disciplined by their university. The Orange County District Attorney's office hadn't filed any criminal charges against the students; but right before the one-year statute of limitations expired, Susan Schroeder met with Rabbi Aron Hier, and charges were filed afterwards.
In addition to being prosecuted criminally, the Muslim student group was also suspended and had their religious rights taken away from them. A man wearing a yarmulke in the audience at the Oren speech angrily told the students "you are failing your exams" as they were escorted out of the auditorium.
Oren, in addition to promoting Israeli foreign policy across America, is also a is key defender of USS Liberty whitewash.
This gaggle of neocon zionist hacks is beholden to a very anti-American agenda. Gingrich, who wants to bomb Iran premptively, claims that Palestinians are an 'invented people'. The Muslim students, at the Michael Oren speech, spoke out aginst human rights abuses by Israel. The prosecution of the students seemed like overkill to many, who criticized the prosecution as an infringement on free speech and criminalization of dissent in an academic atmosphere. Among critics were some Jewish groups, who defended the rights of the Muslim students to speak their mind.
Even control-freak politicians like George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and George H.W. Bush have been heckled occasionally over the years and didn't resort to putting the offenders in jail. They oftentimes simply barbed back or brushed it off as the heckler was removed.
But if an American dare criticize an Israeli, they are branded with a criminal record, subject to fines, loss of rights, and probation restrictions.
The Orange County D.A. went into damage control mode after their prosecutions of the students garnered a lot of negative attention. On September 30, 2011, Susan Schroeder sent a letter to a writer whining that an article critical the case was "sexist and insulting" to her. She added justifications for the conviction of the students, noting that the jury convicted the students "despite being intimidated by 100+ defense supporters during trial".
(Maybe she thinks that supporters at a public trial should be charged with intimidation and hate crimes, too?)
Kang Schroeder, whose boss has actually gone on record saying that
the ADL "represents the O.C. law enforcement", also played the holocaust card, noting "Holocaust survivors" were in the audience during Oren's speech and had their 1st Amendment rights violated by the students.
Gingrich, who claims to be a Catholic convert after marrying his third wife, regularly ignores Catholic teaching altogether, zealously promoting premptive war and the police state. In December 2011, Newt claimed that Palestinians were "an invented people" and later defended his comments in a presidential debate. The church's position couldn't be further from the garbage that Gingrich espouses. Matter of fact, a "statement issued at the conclusion of the two-week Synod of Bishops conference on Middle East at the Vatican" in October 2010 "called for the end to the Jewish occupation of Palestine." The statement also affirmed that "There is no longer a 'chosen people'." Archbishop Cyrille Salim Bustros later explained, "We Christians cannot speak about the promised land for the Jewish people. There is no longer a chosen people. All men and women of all countries have become the chosen people. The concept of the promised land cannot be used as a base for the justification of the return of Jews to Israel and the displacement of Palestinians. The justification of Israel's occupation of the land of Palestine cannot be based on sacred scriptures."
Pope Benedict himself spoke to the Palestinian people in 2009, saying "My heart goes out to all the families who have been left homeless. This afternoon I will pay a visit to the Aida Refugee Camp, in order to express my solidarity with the people who have lost so much."
Cardinal Renato Martino, the Vatican's justice and peace minister, `empathized with Palestinians in 2009, noting "Defenceless populations are always the ones who pay. Look at the conditions in Gaza: more and more, it resembles a big concentration camp."
Tim Shipe, in his 2009 article
A Catholic Narrative of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, notes
"The Vatican-PLO Accord of 2000 directly implied that Israel's unilateral actions concerning Jerusalem were "morally and legally unacceptable".
In the scholastic treatise "The Vatican, American Catholics and the Struggle for Palestine, 1917-1958: A Study of Cold War Roman Catholic Transnationalism", Dr. Robert Ventresca notes "In 1904, Pope Pius X granted an audience to the prominent Zionist Theodor Herzl, in which he reminded his guest that the Roman Catholic Church could never endorse or support the creation of a Jewish home in Palestine. This was to remain the essence of papal policy on Palestine for decades to come."
Whether they are local, statewide, or national, members of the establishment will always try to supress dissent. Congress recently overwhelmingly passed the so-called "Trespass Bill", ["Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act"], making it a federal offense to engage in disorderly or disruptive conduct at any event where secret service agents are present (such as a Newt Gingrich speech). While this writer is not a fan of interrupting people's speech, I did get a chance to bypass Gingrich's handlers in 2010 and directly asked him about his involvement in the occultic bohemian grove, freemasonry and the Council on Foreign Relations, before they uncomfortably wisked him away.
Such tyrannical laws, along with the prosecution of the Irvine 11, allows corrupt politicians and elitists to act with impunity and never be admonished in public.
Kang Schroeder's boss, Tony Rackaukas, has faced numerous allegations of corruption over the years.
Former Assistant District Attorney
Todd Spitzer recently
filed a complaint against Susan Kang Schroeder herself, claiming she "used government resources to orchestrate a campaign" against him.
Several years ago, Senior Assistant Attorney General Gary W. Schons accused Michael Schroeder of engaging in a cover up of illegal political soliticitations. Schroeder served as a consultant and adviser to former Orange County Sheriff Michael S. Carona, who is now in federal prison for witness tampering. In 1997, Gingrich January was sanctioned for ethics violations and agreed to pay $300,000, along with admitting that he'd "engaged in conduct that did not reflect creditably on the House of Representatives."
For years, Gingrich has been infatuated with his mentor Alvin Toffler, and even interviewed him on C-SPAN in 2006. Toffler, a Jewish new-age guru, once wrote that the system of government that the founding fathers gave us "must, in its turn, die and be replaced."

The original article outlining this meeting between Schroder and Rabbi Hier, Corrupt D.A. met with Jewish influence peddler prior to filing charges against Muslim students, meticulously documented the corruption of O.C. D.A. Tony Rackauckas; it was initially published at Examiner.com. After publication of the article, Examiner immediately altered the headline and deleted the words "Jewish influence peddler", replacing them with the word "rabbi". The next day, however, the article was erased altogether. (Needless to say, I do not write for Examiner anymore). However, since I own all copyright to my material, I re-published it at my own website and at OpEdNews (which incidentally, is owned by a Jew who isn't such a control freak as Schroeder). The funniest part of this is that if one performs a google search on the words "Susan Schroeder DA", the article appears as the front page, number 8 result out of almost 20 million listings!
