If Romney's nominated and wins, will Rand challenge in '16?

It would be difficult for a Republican to challenge an incumbent Republican president, but the field (two) would be sooo much narrower than it would be if Obama is reelected.

I find this question fascinating.

Can you imagine a Romney-Rand primary battle, with Hillary waiting in the wings?

Must be a trick question: President Paul will run again in 2016

Oh! That must be a trick question: President Paul will run again in 2016, will he not?

National elections are

National elections are irrelevant - doubly so after 2012.
The only path left for us now is to strengthen our State and local governments and demand they protect us from Washington D.C.
If that doesn't work then...god help us.

LOL! without us

NO REPUBLICAN WINS. Its' Ron Paul or Obama. Rand in 2016.

1976-1982 USMC, Having my hands in the soil keeps me from soiling my hands on useless politicians.

Romney can't beat Obama, i.e. Rand Paul 2016 has started.

Pay close attention. The Rand Paul 2016 campaign HAS ALREADY BEGUN.

That means all the b*tching about the GOP and talk of abandoning it and quitting means nothing more than us having to go through the same bullshi* in 2015/2016 with the party as we have done this cycle.

In other words, NO QUITTING.

Your challenge is to win your county GOP party chairmanship within the next 12 months or at least win a seat on your county party GOP executive board.

For those of you who are high accomplishers, your task is to win a seat on your state GOP executive board or at least a seat on your state GOP central committee.

Again, "BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE" (Ron Paul and Mahatma Gandhi).

Don't b*tch about vote counters and caucus chairmen.

Remember, Romney Can't Win

First of all

Romney will not win. Obama has already been chosen.

Second - no way Rand would do this as that would be a huge PR issue for him among the party rank-and-file folks (going against fellow republican)

I hear you, but...

...if Romney runs $1 trillion+ deficits (and you know that he will), still has us in Afghanistan and policing the world (and you know that he will), and continues to grow the govt (and you know that he will), I think the party rank-and-file will be split.

Except that Romney has ZERO chance of beating Obama.

Therefore, there's no PR problem for Rand.
