Thank you to everyone who has voted this post up, and especially for those who have promoted the cause of Liberty.

Except that the Republican Party is far beyond redemption.

Extraordinary interview, Dr. Paul gets A++++

Everything he said was dead-on, he handled every question expertly.

I was surprised that Scheifer wasn't condescending and let him finish his answers, not what I expected. But twice he called Dr. Paul Mr. Paul instead and it sounded funny.

Getting this face time with the American people was a huge win. He's trying to save the GOP and save America!

Take back the GOP and Restore America Now.

Time 100

Ron Paul is currently the third most influential person of 2012 according to current Time magazine poll. More influential than Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, and Rick Santorum combined. This is an unprecedented opportunity for us bypass the media blackout and draw national attention to the only candidate that can get this country back on the right path. Help Ron Paul get the attention he deserves and vote today.

Official voting ends on Friday, April 6, and the poll winner will be included in the TIME 100 issue.

Ron Paul has popular views!

The other candidates represents the past, just like money. We presently represent the future about what freedom really brings us: free markets, cut spending, sound money, civil liberties, sensible foreign policy.

We will win the nomination?

Mister Paul?

That's Dr. Paul or President Paul to you media sleeze.

Saving the Republican party?

I don't think it can be saved. It does not want to be saved.

Anyone here ever be around someone who was committing suicide? Not the "standing on the ledge" suicide, but more like the kind of suicide where the person is doing drugs or booze, wrecking cars, running up bills, getting into fights, getting fired, etc?

That's the feeling I get around the GOP - at the meetings, the caucus, the conventions...

The whole objective, as usual, is for a nominee who is able to beat Obama but be no different, or lose to Obama. They want nothing else, meaning no candidate that could win in this case. Hence the suicide: if the GOP cannot beat Obama in 2012, this party is done.

But I feel that, based on who I meet at the conventions, there is a third political demographic emerging. Whereas the sterotypical democrat is the "urban latte-slurping" type, the typical republican is the suburban Rush Limbaugh follower. It would take all day to list the traits and stereotypes and labels are like scatter bombs when trying to pin "types of people" down.

I am getting a feel for this new block, but cannot quite flesh it out. I might go to a democrat convention as a guest just to observe and talk to them. I have done a lot of talking to a lot of conservatives and/or republicans in the last few weeks, and think I understand what makes them tick, but I might have to do a Mutual of Omaha style field excursion to study the so-called "other side" to further understand what also wrong with them that will fuel the new movement.

Methinks

Schieffer needs a trip to the woodshed.

Ron Paul is My President

One thing he missed...

I'd like to have heard Ron mention the other three together at a msm well publisized event attracted a lackluster, likely paid, crowd of well under a thousand in comparison to the over 5200 enthusiastic supporters who showed up of their own free will with nary any promotion at all and completely blacked out by the msm! What is that, a showing of well under 20% for all three of the other GOP candidates combined.

Don't hate the player, hate the game!!!

Not too long ago

Ron was asked this question " considering that you are not doing well and have yet to win a state, when are you going to do the decent thing and drop out?" paraphrased actually and I believe it was that fellow from UK Piers Morgan?
Ron replied "When are you going to do the decent thing and stop asking me these silly questions"
I loved that! He put him right in his place and exposed his foolishness.

Now, I wish that when Ron is asked again if he will support the Republican nominee, that he replies something like this:
" rather the question should be, will they support me when I am chosen the republican nominee"
Just hit that ball back onto their side of the net when they asked these kinds of questions!

" In Thee O Lord do I put my trust " ~ Psalm 31:1~

Ron was great as always...

Bob's a douche.

With liberty and justice for all...who can afford it.

Ron! Paul! 2012!

I once worked at a job where I made fantastic money. I was asked to do something that was against my moral fabric. My response was: "No. I quit". I walked out on that job. To this day I am so proud that I made that decision.

Bob Schieffer is a moron. He is not a journalist, or even a "Host". I could smell the brown on his nose right through my monitor.

Ron Paul fights for Schieffer's, as well as every Americans civil rights and this is the thanks that he gets.

There is something that MSM slaves no longer have in this country that I still have to this very day. It's called Dignity.

Ron, hang in there, and don't get discouraged. You have more support behind you than any other person in this world. I am so proud and thankful to be among the many.

Ron! Paul! 2012!

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

shock!

If it was in Poland I would simply assume that the Bob guy was just an ex-communist journalist co-operated with secret security service back in 70's or something but - come on - in US? This is not just about having different views this is old-Goebbels-fashioned-way style of propaganda. Disgusting

Krakow, Poland

Yeah, I noticed CNN referred to the Syrian leader's "regime"

Do we have one of those here? Or what

Bob the snob

Bob should be asked when he is going to retire?

Nice job DOCTOR Paul

The questions from Baghdad Bob were predictable, but Dr. Paul did a great job of pointing out the real news. 5200 people showed up to hear him speak the other day, and the numbers of people supporting liberty are growing....It doesn't fit the story line of: When will you drop out and support Romney?

We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

-C. S. Lewis

UNBELIEVABLE!

That was THE most DISGUSTING piece of journalism I have ever seen.

There is no low too low for them, is there.

Absolutely appalling.

Talk about the past!

Bob is so "yesterday" I can't believe they still put him on. These guys are such lapdogs. Same old questions. Same old direction. Ron nailed it again, as usual: "They're all in the past with their way of thinking". One can only imagine what the race would look like if Ron would have won Iowa.

alan laney

He probably did win Iowa

Why else would they suddenly count the vote in secret, blocks of votes disappear, and the state chair resign?

Amazing

Bob Scheiffer is a complete and total dick.

He also has no principles whatsoever. That is all.

"Once you become knowledgeable, you have an obligation to do something about it."- Ron Paul

So...

Ignorant question here...and I'm sure this has been answered before, but...

Say Newt drops out of the race, he has a significant amount of delegates, come convention time, what happens to those primary won/bound delegates?

Do they become unbound? Can they then vote for any candidate still in the running?

Correct

They become unbound and can vote on the 1st round any way they wish.

DO NOT let the media fool you into thinking that any candidate can "give" their delegates to anyone else. A candidate can "suggest" to their delegates who they would LIKE for them to vote for, but they are not at all bound to.

I LOVE RON PAUL!!!! The media

I LOVE RON PAUL!!!!

The media has four required questions: 1)When are you going to quit? 2)Are you working with Romney? 3)Will you run 3rd party? 4)Will you back the republican nominee?

Ron Paul answers the same dumb questions with loads of class every single time! Never get tired of listening to him.

He did good. Glad he

He did good. Glad he mentioned about the rallies... It's frustrating seeing the MSN covering Occupy, and their protests for "equal labor" and then the Trayvon rallies, with the media asking if it is a "rebirth of the civil rights movement"....and then blackout for us. The bias and agenda couldn't be any more obvious if they tried.

That was like a phone call....

...the tone was rude and dismissive; I guess we'll thank CBS for providing the platform - but - Limbaugh's sentiments about this show were consistently correct, who(what voting demographic) takes the time to watch "Slay the Nation"?...

I like how the host who has

I like how the host who has asked Ron Paul five million times already if he will support the eventual nominee or run third party tries to slip those questions in again but this time as if he just thought of them rather than those question coming stock on the teleprompter. Sheesh this is getting way too predictably scripted.

must read for delegates.
