Anybody notice all the Mormon advertisements?

With all the media and pundit spectators stating that Romney has all but taken the GOP nomination and will beat Obama, has anybody really noticed how much the Mormon faith in the last year has spent heavy amounts of advertising?

They are on billboards, tv commercials, radio ads, magazines, etc etc etc. I've never seen such advertisement for a religion in all my life. Maybe they are trying to take these "normal looking people who are mormon" seem more "normal".

Maybe they know something we don't.. i.e. the election process is already rigged and the winners have already been chosen for us.

Anybody else notice this?

This video sends a very strong message!Must watch it all!

They advertise LDS as the "North American" Religion.

Romney has been a BISHOP... of three LDS churches.

Romney's are from Mexico and have compounds down there; I understand that the Bush family has even visited.

Romney will head up the transition to...

A combined...

1) North American Union,
2) North American Central Bank/Currency (as the fiat dollar naturally fails),
3) While actively endorsing the North American Religion.

...and dont forget, he saved the freakingly corrupt olympics... in Salt Lake City no less making use of fascist PPP (Public Private Partnerships) between the LDS church, government and private corporations.

There is more synergy going on here than in the nationalist socialist Third Reich.

You know, many of us Mormons are Ron Paul supporters...

...so instead of believing that we are behind a conspiracy for a North American Union, you could just ask one of us. Check out this video, with statements by various of our leaders about the United States and its Constitution, and then come tell me we're worse than the Third Reich:

"It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds."-Samuel Adams

I was in a church meeting about this.

This just reminded me of a Church Lesson I was in a few months back. At the first of the class, the leader of our group presented the Plan of the LDS church to push media ads very heavily and how we could help.

In short, all this advertising is just coincidence that it is at the same time as an election year where a Mormon just might be (according to MSM) the GOP nominee.

They even encouraged us to make our own adds and share it with friends in family.... so, I guess this is my chance:

"Hi, I've been a member of the Daily Paul for over 4 years and I love liberty. I have huge respect for Ron Paul and I am very grateful for his service........ and I'm a Mormon"

“I’m fully diversified. I’ve got some under the mattress, some under the floor boards, some in the backyard.”

This is great!!!

Would love to have an ad like that!

Showed them that our revolution is a diverse movements between everyone! Not just one group of people based on any stereotypes!

"Hi, I'm a Christian, and I vote for Ron Paul!
Hi, I'm a Buddhist, and I vote for Ron Paul!
Hi, I'm a Mormon, and I vote for Ron Paul!
And in the end, everyone says:
"We're all Americans, and we're voting for Ron Paul!"

LOL... too hyper, is it b/c I got enough sleep last night? Most likely XD

haha lol

Hey we should do the same kind of ads for Ron Paul. Explain who we are, what we do and what we believe.... and then "I'm a Ron Paul supporter!"

There's a lot of misconception about what kind of people Paul supporters are too and I think we would surprise a lot of people that we're not a bunch of unemployed pot head students living in their parents basement but the fabric of america itself, young and old, rich and poor, every race religion creed and political affiliation.

Awsome idea

That's a great idea! Gave me a good laugh too.

“I’m fully diversified. I’ve got some under the mattress, some under the floor boards, some in the backyard.”

Theres been Mormon ads for quite some time 70s,80s,90s etc

There is however a new campaign of them, a theme if you will, the "I am Mormon" ones you've probably seen. Among members of the church these are pretty popular as past advertisments had been rather cheesy and to tell the truth kind of embarrassing lol. These ones are much higher quality. Compare the "Ron Paul, he's catching on!" ads to the 2012 Ron Paul ads. It's that kind of difference.

Now whether there is an increased push in them or not is debatable but would not be surprising considering the uptick in the discussion of Mormonism due to a Mormon presidential aspirant.

That the Mormon church is trying to promote him or anything like that is not the case, however they are taking advantage of the situation while people are talking about Mormonism. The church realizes that there is going to be an increase in legitimate discussion, questions, and comments in the public forum around the subject of Mormonism and The ads are more of an effort to confront the misconceptions, inform those who are curious about our beliefs and provide an official source to go to to investigate what the church really believes and what kind of people Mormons really are.

When the subject Mormonism pops up there tends to be a lot of misinformation, spin and demonizing that goes on usually emanating from dedicated detractors (like Ron Paul has) and also from well meaning ordinary people that are just misinformed or ignorant.

Religious debate like political debate can get kind of nasty sometimes, as Im sure we all can attest to. The ads are meant to say hey, we're just like you, normal people, no need to fear or hate. We're all God's children and we can learn from each other. Here's what we have to offer.

That's the basic message of the ads. The timing with Romney running is more just taking advantage of his public spotlight to talk about the church then it is some kind of campaign tool for Romney

(Not a spokesman for the church, just the perspective of a long time regular member and Paul Supporter.)

If anything, highlights some of Romney's anti-Mormon beliefs...

I'm sure if Romney really followed his faith, his entire world view would be that of Ron Paul's.

That is a pretty shocking indictment of the Fed and positive for the liberty movement as well.

Well I'm a mormon

And I know alot of people who are that support Ron Paul.

I wasn't saying that I had a problem with Mormons (truth be told, my very very best friend is one), I was just saying that I find all the advertisement strange

"I love waffles

and wafflers...and I'm a moron"

lol some of them are rather

lol some of them are rather cheesy.

Growing up mormon there are a lot of bad stigma's that we fight. Devil worshipers, multiple wives, die and make millions of babies... weird things. So I know there are plenty who would take "I love waffles".

But ironically now I have to tell all my friends I'm not a flip-flopper lol

I can tell you right here, some of them are true.....

We got these Mitt Romneys and certain church leaders who have conducted unsavory rituals *OUTSIDE* of Mormon doctrine.....in outside public areas.

And they engaged in those rituals deliberately, because the scriptures commands Mormons to save the souls of everyone.

*EVERYONE* includes those who worship the devil. So certain Mormons, especially the Romneys, have dirtied their hands in order to save the souls of these people.

The Jacobites, Edomites and Zorumites.
As otherwise it says, YOU will be held responsible.

Guess who today's Zorumites are?
The leaders of Israel, Iran and the Banks. To the letter.

Not entirely correct. One of

Not entirely correct. One of the fundamental principles of the LDS church is the right for people to worship in their own way. Its the 13th article of faith.

What Romney does, is his own business and he doesn't represent the who faith.

I have noticed it for almost 2 years.

The dead give away was the "And I'm a mormon" promotional video on youtube. I think they have been advertizing those vids since the end of the 2008 election.
