In the Pic

I'm in the right center of the photo titled Really Packed! With the Blue and White Hat. Great speech. Drove 2 hours from Sacramento and it was definitly worth it. The two people in the tree was priceless.

The campus police were cool too. They just asked

if he was okay after the branch broke. Good thing neither of the dudes didn't do a face plant and get hurt.

"Report an error" ... LOL!!

See the article posted below on the "hundreds" of supporters. Then see this picture:

So here's the note I wrote to them by clicking on their "Report an error" button. :) Someone please send them that picture (above) in a new "error report".

Two errors in this article. First: the attendance to the event was 6,200 people, not "hundreds". In your own photo of just one section of the crowd there are approximately 1,700 people.

Second error: Dr. Paul has won several primaries if you're using a plurality of delegates as the measure. If you're using the plurality of popular votes instead (the "beauty contest") then he has won one primary: the U.S. Virgin Islands. Regardless, it is incorrect to say he has not won any. Also of note, he has the second most total number of delegates after Romney. The counts you see from the AP are ESTIMATES based on the beauty contest percentage and that is completely off from the reality on the ground.

Thanks, and take care.

I guess...

...if 120,000 people showed up they'd say it was "dozens"

...well that's true, 10,000 of em!

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

yeah, I found that

It wasn't working so it took me awhile to get it, but it's working now :) Thank you too!

Here's what I love:

People should live their own lives. They should not count on the Gov't. Seriously? Who in their right mind would not get behind this simple message? If he could just continue to say this over and over again that simplistic I am sure his message would resonate with America.

Many rely on government to some degree.

They may not see another way. That's where we come in.

Free includes debt-free!

For all future rally attenders...

Please, please, please take a series of photos of the crowd and stitch them together into a single panoramic photo using the free software program called Hugin (http://hugin.sourceforge.net/)

I usually start on the left side and take as many as 10-30 photos as I pan across the landscape. Hugin automatically stitches them together into a singular, usually powerful photo.

The shot you posted was awesome!...it would just be nice to have a few more that show the other parts of the crowd.

Habeas Corpus is RIGHT!

A concert promoter once told me this is how they protected their money in large rock concerts where someone else counted the money and claimed low attendance...they stiched photos and literally counted heads in the images...it's easier today, for those of you who know how :)

Brilliant !!

I was there with friends, at least 2500-3500

people were there, possibly more around the BMU. I am fortunate that I live in Chico. Proud of my fellow Chicoans, we're lovers of liberty! Great speech by Dr. Paul. Many of us went to IN-N-OUT afterwards, the girl at the counter said she wanted to go but had to work, and there were people honking in the drive-thru with Paul banners on their doors. It was pretty damned cool, and I was only expecting 500 people. WOW

Peace, Freedom and Prosperity. Not War, Welfare and Bankruptcy.

I'm confident UCLA and

I'm confident UCLA and Berkley will draw even bigger numbers. This was just a state university which I hadn't even heard of until this rally, and I live in California.

Chico is very nice

School is long famous as "the party school"...it's a very small town---UCLA and Berkeley though now have a challenge.

Way to go Chico!

HAHA. It reads "thousands",

HAHA. It reads "thousands", now..ROFL!

khsl is Chico...Redding was the station misreporting

KHSL is the Chico, Channel 12 station. It was Redding, Channel 7 which had the "hundreds" and now has changed it to "thousands".

85 people counting across in the back of their picture

i counted about 85 people counting across in the back of their picture 20 deep comes to 1700 people in THEIR picture which obviously doesn't show everyone

Does anyone have a youtube video of this posted yet?

I'll post it when I have it

There were alot of videographers present, I saw them in the still shots

If the Ron Paul Campaign puts the crowd at 6,200 tonight in Chico as they said that the UW-Madison throng was 5,200 last week, then we have a NEW RECORD!!!

Remember last week the various Wisconsin Papers put the crowd at UW-Madison at 2,000 to 2,500 max.

If the local media stated the crowd at CSU Chico was in excess of 3,000 then it probably was 6,200 or more.

Okay, now it is time for UCLA. Can you break 6,200 tomorrow night at the Los Angeles Straus Tennis Center???

The Challenge has been laid down by CSU Chico. Way to go Wildcats!!!!!

hundreds - literally hundreds

in an episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Master Shake asks Meatwad, " do you have any idea how many birthdays there are each year?.... hundreds, literally hundreds!"

The disinformation being enemy #1, it would be great to have this headline of "hundreds of attendees" overlaid on a photo of obviously 6k+

Oh this is so not newsworthy!

Biden had over 100 people in attendance. Gingrich had dozens!!! Now that is newsworthy! (sarcasm)

Formerly rprevolutionist

Biden had it tough

He had to feed 'em lunch to get 200---don't forget.

Lunch with Biden. If only I had known!

The Largest colleges in the

The Largest colleges in the country are Ohio State, USC, Texas obviously Ohio Primary is over so no event likely there, but I got a feeling southern california or Texas will break the 5200 record. Being from Ohio was disappointed Dr. Paul didn't really campaign here, although I understand why and the strategy. But looking forward to some new records even from rivals, won't often here me say go longhorns, but I think I will make an exception in this case.
