Canadian Dollar now worth more than the US Dollar

According to XE.com as of 11:00AM EST the Canadian Dollar is now worth more than the US Dollar.

1.00 CAD = 1.00012 USD
1 USD = 0.999885 CAD
As I understand it, this occurred in part because of the Fed's recent rate cut. More evidence that Fed is not a good thing. More reason to vote for Ron Paul

Does this apply to the Loon coin as well? Canadians aren't stoopid. They replaced their $1 paper note with the loonie twenty years ago and then took all of the nickel out of their "nickels" and replaced the zinc in their pennies with steel.
