Kinda of funny since listening to the radio on the way into work they have Lt Vance from the Ct State Police taking questions. Just listening to him you can here the love of power and the police state he so wants to be a part of. All they talk about is speeding, cell phones, texting, this that - all BS crap against normal people. Never talk of taking down rapists, murders, pedophiles, violent offenders with outstanding warrants etc. No - always about how you, the average, hard working citizen is breaking the law and how THEY are going to get you. Our state police get federal overtime grants to catch drunk drivers - yet I have never heard ONCE of federal overtime to go hunt down fugitives, track child predators, catch violent offenders. Nope- just overtime to go get us. Kinda makes you think.

When I inform customers that I am not permitted to sell them certain alcoholic beverages on Sundays, or any alcoholic beverages between one and five a.m. they act as if I am personally thwarting their quite reasonable desire to get as wasted as they want. Amidst my expressions of regret I tell them that I am bound by "Sharia Law" or that, clearly, "They hate us for our freedom." Often that elicits a laugh, but more frequently I get a blank stare. For much of the flock, even when it is their own ox being gored, they still don't get it.

Just gotta keep bangin' that drum...

AND all of our supposed representatives! I think if everyone did this to everybody, that it would be like an awakening! What do you think!

Our neighbors and family are being killed and maimed at the discretion of the same Central Planners that are destroying our lives here at home.

It sickens me to know that these Central Planners (aka Kings, Queens, Barons, etc otherwise known as Federal and State Officers) can't even help those they sent off to protect those who are causing all of this mayhem.

They are helping us towards misery and question patriotism when we simply want them out of the position that allows them to cause so much harm.

If the government sees fit to trample our Rights and Privileges THEY should expect the same Rights and Privileges denied to them. The Two Party System is an Oligarchy. We are in practice OWNED by the Feds.

Central Planning = Central Authority = Central Ownership. If they assume the Authority to Plan our Lives, Property, and Labor, then they de facto OWN US.

Once the government makes everything illegal and mandatory, or as I like to call it, reverse illegal, we can all ride the crimson road to serfdom where demanding humanity is treason and defending yourself is an act against the State.

Jefferson was a genius. He understood the relation between monetary slavery and the shackles of executive slavery. One causes your desperation while the other promises to relieve it, but both go into the belly of the same Beast.

I'm an optimist, in training. The urges for Liberty we feel come from the sensation of them being ripped away. I'm guessing the Founders knew this feeling all too well and they acted. As will we, and our children, if taught well.

Fact is all this "support" will require each and every person to HAVE to work years of our lives just to support the shakedowns that provide the "support". Along with borrowing from the communist chinese which loans guarantee more shakedowns for future generations.

There isn't much freedom left that they haven't already taken. The 'State' owns us lock, stock and barrel. Its just that most out there in slumberland don't know it yet..

Not hardly even funny..just true. As many millions as there are on the government dole, there are probably as many somehow involved in problems with the LAWS in some way or another...
