Another one out. Reportedly based on campaign information that he could not win Pennsylvania, although the official campaign talking point is speculated by some to be on the basis of his ailing daughter.
Inside sources say the former Senator is expected to endorse Mitt Romney.
A senior source in the Mitt Romney campaign confirming that Romney received a call from Santorum today.
Santorum reportedly states that he intends to play an active part in the GOP National Convention.
The Santorum campaign has debt just under $1 million and reported $2.5 million cash on hand.

Over the weekend Ron Paul said "We want Santorum to stay in". So what happened? Nice trap Ron!! Ron Paul's smarter than they are. Notice the Liberal media will now end their love fest over Romney. He's so weak, they're salivating. Bring it on! Ron Paul's campaign is releasing a statement shortly.

No, this is NOT good news! Unless Gingrich has a revival (which is doubtful) it will be unlikely we can force a brokered convention. If Santorum supporters weren't smart enough to gravitate to Paul yet; they will not now. They are part of the sheeple flock and the sheeple herder (Fox News and talk radio) will ensure they are guided into the Romney flock. The only reason Santorum was doing so good to begin with was because Glenn Beck was pushing him as the next "George Washington" (gagging). Many people here seem to think that the MSM will suddenly change their ways and beging to report of this as a two man race, they are wrong. MSM will continue to completly ignore Paul and act as if he dropped out months ago and declare the primary over...as they have already been doing. You will now hear nothing but calls for Republicans to begin the healing process and start focusing on the real race with Obama. I'm not sure of the way forward from this point, I guess we can hope that everybody thinks it is over and fails to show up at the polls. There is still the third party option.

Oh, this is it folks. This is what we have been waiting for. Ron Paul and his campaign have been brilliant. Many State Conventions are coming up this month, in May, & June.
Question now is, where will Santorum's delegates go, where will his supporters go, and where will his endorsement eventually go?
I can not wait to start rolling on again.
Gingrich is Done. I truly believe that we can receive the Anti-Romney vote.
We finally have the two man race that we have been waiting for.
Even if the MSM was right about the current delegate count, Mitt Romney could still not win the nomination before May 22nd.
So now, with Santorum out, the Ron Paul Revolution has the opportunity to see some amazing next couple of months ahead.

Our best chance to keep Romney from gaining 1144 delegates before the Convention was to have as many candidates in the fray as possible. Ask your self, Are Santorum voters more like Romney voters or Paul voters? Hopefully they will gravitate to Gingrich and he will view this as an opportune moment to revitalize his flagging campaign and help to keep Romney's delegate count down.
