Updated MO delegate count for the district and state conventions.

Ron Paul-716
Rick Santorum-343
Mitt Romney- 46
Uncommitted- 207
Yet to caucus or unannounced- 766

Things are looking good!! Santorum needs 500 more delegates which I doubt he got to even catch up with Ron!!!!!!

See below for this important Missouri update!

Great news! Brent Stafford says we are on track to win at least 42 out of 51 National delegates from Missouri:

I believe this is the delegates that go to the State Convention. At the state Convention they will choose the delegates that go to Tampa. I believe Missouri gets somewhere around 50 delegates. The thing is, The delegates to state get to choose who goes to Tampa, so in theory, Missouri delegates to Tampa should be all Paul! The problem is that the GOP has been using all kinds of dirty tricks to make sure that doesn't happen. Just look at what they did in North Dakota, where I believe the Paul camp also had the numbers.

How many

Did some research, and it appears that you are correct.

That's a nice chunk of RP delegates.

Great News!

But does anyone know the details? Where do we stand in State Convention delegates? How many delegates to the various CD Conventions? Thanks.

Delegate Estimate - Brent Stafford

Brent Stafford was on a radio show http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/audioPop.jsp?episodeId=... (brent starts 30 minutes in, delegate update I believe is during last 5 minutes)
in Maine, before the St Charles 2.0 Caucus and said if we won that Caucus we would win all of Missouri STATE delegates. All 24 of those.

24 - State
24 - Congressional District (8 districts, 3 per district)
3 - Party Establishment - Probably all Romney's...
= 52 Delegates to RNC

Brent Stafford said there are two districts that we are not the majority and might not get any of those delegates. He said 18-20 congressional district delegates will be Ron Paul.

So total of 42-44 Delegates out of 51 from Missouri to the RNC will be Ron Paul delegates!! He didn't say who would win the other district delegates....I hope now that Rick dropped out his people will work with us to block Romney (doubtful) or not show up...possible...

"If you put a gun to my head and said vote Romney/Gingrich/Santorum...I would say pull the trigger!"

Thank you!

Very detailed and good news! If Sen. Santorum's delegates don't show, hopefully our alternates will be present to fill those empty slots. Thanks again!

52 MIssouri Delegates....Grr...Can't Edit!

Something is hosed about this new setup on Daily Paul...I can't + vote threads and now I can't edit my posts!! I am a premium subscriber, WTF?!?!

I want to edit it to say 25 - State Delegates , 52 Total.

43 - 45 Total Delegates to Ron Paul out of 52.

I forgot 1 :) 10 base State plus 15 bonus delegates = 25.
