Article - Lack of Crowds Vexes Romney Campaign

Wilmington, Delaware -- April 10, 2012

It's Delaware, corporate capital, city destroyed in Fight Club, land of the rich. Romney is feeling at home. But something is not right in Denmark. Has Birnham wood come to Dunsinane?

Another day in the election campaign for Romney but his public speeches are dwindling. Instead he has moved to a strategy of speaking only in a few major cities. At his recent event only a handful of supporters showed up.

With the shakeup of the Santorum resignation leaving only Gingrich who has been getting almost none of the vote, and the venerable fiesty Ron Paul, the pressure is on Romney to prove he is the nomination.

When asked about the small lack of support Romney replied "Oh we've got support, look there are hundreds of people here. I find your lack of faith disturbing"

We spoke to several Romney supporters who were paid to wave signs. But they were tight lipped. "Yah, Gingrich was paying good for a while, but now the word is out that Romney is the big spender"

Not Legit

The bottom of that article said it was satire, so it was a waste of time reading it.

I was kind of suspicious of all the typos in her post.

It would have been interesting if it were true.

Satire yes, but it speaks to

Satire yes, but it speaks to a very real fact that Romney does not draw the crowds at his speaking events.

They've already shielded him from any future debates....

Soon, they may have to have him stop making campaign appearances, as the disparity between his crowds and ours will become too difficult "to manage."

loooool

His support is make-believe. His numbers are inflated...

...Not by a couple of hackers on the internet.

But by a couple of bank holding companies and their subsidiary national media networks.

.

Santorum was "untimely ripped"

from the campaign. C'est la guerre!

LOL! I love the piece but it's clearly fiction...

Look at how it's written. It's satire. Don't get me wrong, the main points are true and very awesome. But clearly this piece is fiction.

Whoa! If I wasn't so anti-Romney I'd say that picture is sad.

We have a good chance at this, keep spreading the word everyone!

This is so true.

I used to work in the financial markets so I do know the kind of operation Romney was running at Bain Capital. I know Dr. Paul would never throw dirt at Romney but he is an economist not a market player like Romney.

Romney latched onto an analytical model to seek and destroy stable unexciting companies with no debt and good assets but which were under-performing in their market space. He would then load them up with debt against their good assets, pay himself big dividends and either sell off the company to another leech, if there were maybe some marrow left, or break it up and sell off the assets to retire the debt.

I also believe he was working for the big corporations like Raytheon who would come in at the end to pick up the pieces and the customer base for pennies on the dollar. At least that is what I have gleaned from reading between the lines of the articles I've read and the movie that Gingrich used to bash Romney.

This is how many private equity firms operate and they are in my view exactly like blood suckers who do more to destroy companies than any other market entities. They are just like the people who used the equity in their homes to fund their lavish lifestyles. Eventually I expect it will all unravel and they will crash but before then they will make out like gangbusters on the taxpayers' backs.

Just yesterday I realised that the global bankers are no more than big pump and dump artists except they work with entire countries. We call it boom and bust but it really is pump and dump because the bankers always end up wealthier at the end of the entire cycle. Joe Kennedy made $100 million in the 1929 crash.

This is an excellent article and it makes clear that Dr. Paul is the only human being in the race. Personally I believe their promoting Romney so heavily might backfire on them. Nobody will bother to come out to vote for him if he has already won.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

It seems very odd to me that

It seems very odd to me that setting up a Dr. practice from scratch, and staffing the office and maintaining enough income to raise a large family and send the kids to college is somehow NOT considered strong and savvy business experience..

I agree

I have always maintained that Dr. Paul was managing his very successful ob/gyn practice during the time the newsletters were published and that was his full time work. This is when people blame him for being in charge of the publishing company which he was definitely not.

He also worked in his practice at weekends after being in Washington all week writing legislation and working on committees. His political experience is much much more important than any business experience and his economic expertise is more critical at this time than any, as in Romney's case, market know how.

More than all of these however is his spiritual wisdom and his relationship with the Spirit of Truth. This may not mean much to those who are not spiritual but for those who are it is of primary importance. All the worldly wisdom in existence in the scales of Life weighs nothing.

I do not know if you were referring to my remark about Dr. Paul not being a market player. This is not a reference to business experience. It is simply an observation that he has never been involved in all the arcane operations of the financial markets. What goes on in the financial markets is a mystery to most people but it is indeed a den of thieves. Anyone who is involved in these markets will be tempted to take the wrong turning. The ways to make money legally as an insider in these markets are manifold and the higher the position the greater the possibilities. The rules are designed for the insiders not the public. I have no doubt that Romney took full advantage of these opportunities.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

The contrast between the

The contrast between the real, sincere support that Dr. Paul receives at his speaking venues and the seeningly rehearsed, staged support that Romney receives is very evident and obviously the Mass Media is hesitant to present the full story and cover that contrast when Dr. Paul garners thousands of supporters while Romney's flacid crowds point to a deep internal and external problem for the Romney Campaign, as well as for the GOP!

Is the Article Serious?

I can't tell if it is meant to be a joke or if Romney really said those things.

Fantastic!

I really hope this article gets the attention it deserves, especially in the Santorum camp.
Somebody telling it like it is.

Maybe we should buy stock in

RightGard...I'm sure Mittens is doubling up since RP's making him sweat. (Make that WrongGard)

Yes, Im sure that it is vexing

for Romney to be continually reminded by small turn-outs that his entire campaign is a charade of media astroturf, bolstered by a corrupt cavalcade of GOP back-room vote-rigging.
