Why is The Daily Paul allowing other candidates to advertize?

I've noticed this for a while, and it's probably been mentioned.

But I'd like to hear why.

GOOGLE decides where to place adverts

It usually is based on the content of the site.

So if we talk a lot about politics and "Candidate X" on here, we'll see more political ads and ads for "candidates X,Y,Z.

We are happy to take their wasted dollars

to keep on rocking. We can't be sold, but we will gladly take their dollars. Once you go Ron Paul, those ads for other candidates don't even register except for keeping funds flowing to Dailypaul which in turn fuels liberty!!!!! Enjoy every last wasted dollar the fools spend advertising candidates other than Ron Paul on here.

Having the adversary support

Having the adversary support your grassroots effort can be all bad?

So we can

click on them and cost them money.

No...click on them and cost

No...click on them and cost this SITE money. Sorry.,.but you are not going to outsmart Google. If they receive more clicks on their ads than others, Google will flag it for click fraud, and not only not pay for those clicks, not not pay for ANY clicks for the entire month. And possibly shut down the account, thereby closing this site.

arnt some of the ads googles?

arnt some of the ads googles? So it kinda changes by whatever google wants, or ami completely wrong and should just be quiet?

I think you're correct. It

I think you're correct. It tracks the sites you visit.

Other candidate's money is just as green

and here we KNOW it's not having any effect. Therefore, it's wasted money to fund the DP which , in turn, helps fund the Ron Paul campaign. Therefore (and indirectly)other candidates are spending money to help fund Ron Paul's campaign.

Devious, ain't it?

Love thy enemies

In this case....that's easy!
Hope they do lots of advertising around here!

That makes sense

...I was worried it was somehow automated pop-ups or some crap...same thing happens when you google ROn Paul...you get all the advertizing by the money grubbing candidates
