"they are my people"

he doesn't want to give up his taxpayer funded limo

don't let the door hit you on the way out Orin

Government is supposed to protect our freedom, our property, our privacy, not invade it. Ron Paul 2007

Dadgummit! Orrin Grant Hatch is on a gorram mission from above

Orrin said God Himself would be disappointed if Orrin didn't run for reelection this time. Criminey, isn't that clear? Orrin has both a Christmas album and a Hanukkah song to his credit for goshs sakes.

Consarnit! What the Sam Hill do those lowfalutin’ dagnabbed ragamuffins think they're doing interfering with Orrin's divine mission!!!

Oh my heck but those two-bit four-flushin' liberty lovin' whippersnappers better mind their conflabbing P's and Q's - or guldurnit - there'll be H-E-double hockey-sticks to pay!

Oh fiddle-sticks to the lot of em!

Haha, best comment I've read

Haha, best comment I've read in quite some time!

He is pretty much saying he

He is pretty much saying he despises the average American.

Guess what Mr. Hatch?

These people despise you too....asshole.

I couldn't resist...

voting up your comment, even though I disagree with the derogatory word use.

Most incumbents have skeletons

in their closets that would put them in prison for many years so they get elected and they serve their time as thieves rather than convicts. Don't ever forget, most sellouts in politics have more dirt on themselves than Scotts grass seeds. Cowards, that they are, they sell us all down the drain instead of facing up.

Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must. like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.-Thomas Paine

The R3volution requires action, not observation!!!!

Of course...

No comment option is available - at least I couldn't find a way to do it. Apparently, they don't want people rebutting that jerk's comments.

"I Despise These People"

Hopefully, the fine folks in Utah will remember your feelings toward them in the voting booth, Orin. Orin is a perfect example of the hubris found in MOST politicians, especially ones feeding off the people for decades like Orin.

In 1976 in his first run for public office, he was elected to the United States Senate, defeating Democrat Frank Moss, a three-term incumbent. Among other issues, Hatch criticized Moss's 18-year tenure in the Senate, saying "What do you call a Senator who’s served in office for 18 years? You call him home." [6] Hatch argued that many Senators, including Moss, had lost touch with their constituents.[7] Hatch won his first election by an unexpectedly wide nine-point margin.

Its Time We Shoot That Buzzard Out Of The Sky!

Buy Orin...You BS'd us far too many years..You 'mealy mouthed' establishment hack..

Your whole career was based on SAY ONE THING and DO ANOTHER..and for playing the game of not offending my fellow lawmakers, you get a lucrative pension plan, the best health benefits you good ole' boys voting for yourselves...

I feel soooooo sorry for you...GET LOST!

He's been there for way too long

36 years. It's time to go.

There is a special place in hell for 6-term senators who desperately cling to power.

The fire rises.

Orrin needs to go. It's

Orrin needs to go. It's interesting that he criticized his predecessor for holding the seat too long... and Orrin has now been there for TWICE as long!

This is what Hatch said back in 1976, when he was first elected... "What do you call a Senator who’s served in office for 18 years? You call him home."

Orrin has voted to raise the debt ceiling 16 times. He supported TARP, and has since said that he would vote for it again. Yet he claims that libertarians are not conservative? Laughable. Dan Liljenquist is the way to go.

By the way, if you are live in or around Mesa AZ, support Kirk Adams. He's taking on a 12 year lobbyist, Matt Salmon. Adams wants a flat tax and an audit of the Fed. As the youngest speaker of the house in AZ, he cut the budget and taxes dramatically. I met him a while ago and found him to be on par with Paul on nearly all issues.

Another really cool double-speak headline!

The word 'radical' in front of Libertarians I think is really the point of the article. The Article is just a bunch of words to hold the headline up top.

If it was worded;

"offended' by 'libertarians' trying to take away his Senate seat"

It does not work so well for it's purpose.

I believe there will be many more headlines like this soon to put us in the "associated forces" and "radical" category.

BTW: Don't we really already know what "associated forces" means. It seems to me to mean "anyone"

More Mormons all the time are waking up to the Freedom message!!

I have been so encouraged when I hear of how many of my old friends are now die hard Ron Paul supporters. I used to go to BYU Idaho when ever I got the chance when I lived in Idaho Falls, and I would go and do street activism all day long among the students there every chance I got. I see now there is a group of Ron Paul supporters who now set up their own booth right out side of school property to spread the message!! There is quite the political row going on between woke up Mormons who truly care and the average chump Mormon when it comes to politics. Tons of our old leaders Like Ezra Taft Benson said very many similar things to what Ron Paul has been saying, Like how bad the Federal Reserve is etc.....So, the mormons who actually care and are awake to reality, they are just like the rest of the Ron Paul freedom fighters across this country, it's just that quite a few mormons have drank the big government cool aid, and there are quite a few who support Romney because it makes them feel more excepted, more important, strokes their ego in some perverse way, and it's that whole ugly partisan politics phenomenon which plagues our country(the whole group think B.S. in a Nation of supposed individuals)!

Yes, indeed!

I am a Mormon for Ron Paul! Have followed him for about 9 years now (prior to his last presidential run). I am encouraged by the number of fellow church members that are waking up to the Liberty movement. I am saddened by the number of them that have not paid attention. As you say, leaders such as Ezra Taft Benson, David O. McKay, J. Reuben Clark, etc. have taught the same things Ron Paul is now teaching.

In the church we are taught that the Constitution is an inspired document and that we are supposed to follow the "constitutional law of the land". My hope is that ALL people continue to wake up to the realities Ron Paul has stood for for so many years!

For other LDS members, check out www.latterdayconservative.com. It has TONS of quotes/addresses/etc. from leaders of the church on political/constitutional issues.

Harry Reid, Mitt Romney, and Orrin Hatch are not representative of what we should be doing!

Go Liberty!

Power tripping much? Stay off

Power tripping much? Stay off the "loves to control others" drug for a bit there, captain. What a jerk

One world, under government, with power and money for the elite

From a person who grew up in and went to college in that State.

I don't know why Hatch has wasted so much time and money trying to get reelected, 'cause he's going to get the same treatment Bennett got, as long as the people of Utah keep their heads on strait and don't sale out!!!! Bye bye Hatch, you big government proponent, deficit spending, double talking, fake conservative, and power chasing fool!! You, are a lot more personal than Bennett was, but your record is just as bad!! Your time is way past over, if the real patriots of Utah have anything to say about it!!

“I despise these people,” Hatch added, ...

“I despise these people,” Hatch added, “and I’m not the guy you come in and dump on without getting punched in the mouth.”

Wow! Wonder why they would want him out...

GOP-On-GOP Attacks Leave Orrin Hatch Fighting Mad
02:01 pm - April 12, 2012

"We've got to have new leaders in Washington if we're going to change the direction of this country," says Dan Liljenquist, a former Utah state senator and business consultant, considered the biggest threat to Hatch among nine GOP challengers.

"And the folks who led us into this mess are not the guys to get us out of it," adds Liljenquist, who was just 2 years old when Hatch was first elected to the Senate.

Old, "dirty underwear" like Orrin needs to be thrown out, pronto!

Kick this status quo, Old Guard OUT!!!!

"i despise the people

Thats how we know we know we are getting it right.

Liberty or Death

Up the people. Down the Hatch.

In the interview they say he's spent $6 million already!

And the GOP state convention has not happened yet to decide if he will even be a candidate!

Where did he get all that money from? Gangs that want him to keep stealing it for them?

It must be his cut of the loot.
