King County, Washington 11th District delegates sweep "Ron Paul" Slate!

Every possible Ron Paul delegate AND alternate from the 11th district was elected to the Washington State Convention!

What a day!

It started off with a bang when the district tried to impose some supplemental rules such as no speeches allowed and no video or audio recordings allowed in the room.

But after about an hour and a half of bickering and finally voting, those rules were dropped and business of electing delegates proceeded.

To the credit of the 11th District GOP they did a fair and well-organized job I thought.

But our numbers were simply overwhelming (although the Santorum and Gingrich people did team up with us to support our slate).

After the delegate elections they allowed for several resolutions and I was able to get it resolved to try to abolish U.N. " Agenda 21."

That resolution passed with only ONE no vote so it will be reflected in the WA State GOP's future business.

It showed we all could agree on something no matter who we supported.

But the news of the day was the great turnout of Ron Paul supporters.

If this is going on nationally at the district caucus levels then Ron Paul WILL win the delegate count.

It was a very encouraging day!

Are you the Tamra who gave me the Agenda 21 leaflets?

If so, after you left we got it passed as a resolution.

There was only one no vote!

What about this county.

This was on the douches grassroots site.

Garry Holland: I see somebody said something about Spokane County. My wife and I are Thurston County Washington chairs of the Romney campaign and after a lot of work we ended up Romney 45 delegates to the state convention and Captain America (Ron Paul) 16. It was an amazing win for us here!

Spokane

Which district? I read somewhere that we picked up 12 in..I think 3rd District, but nobody got the other potential delegates? Just something I saw on Twitter.

Is there a Spokane caucus thread or a useful Twitter hashtag? I'd really like to know how we're doing in general there.

Spokane 3rd district deligates

20 of 20 Ron Paul 3rd district.
I personally was a delegate in the Spokane 4th. It sent 41. On the final vote, at about 10 PM, it was down to the Romney and Paul slates only. I stayed and voted but didn't stay for the results. the results were probably all Romney or all Paul.

Great job over there in Spokane!

I'm looking very forward to being a Ron Paul delegate (from Renton, WA) going to the state convention in Tacoma and sending Ron Paul ALL of Washington State's delegates!

We have THE MOST intelligent, principled and passionate people involved in the Paul campaign in this state.

I'm proud to be involved with such great people.

If the USA was entirely made up of Ron Paul type of thinkers, we wouldn't have any problems.

We would once again be the envy of the world!

Spokane 3rd: 20 out of 20 for Paul!

Alternates...that is up in the air. Long story, I am trying to figure out what happened and if we will GET alternates.

Heard that the 4th district got 6 for Paul out of 40 or 41. Haven't heard anything else about any other districts.

What are you fightin' for?
Caught in the middle?
Freedom is only for those with the guts to defend it!

Same way here.

I want to know how we did in the whole state and I want actual confirmation. No offense to the people coming here and posting but I trust nobody.

Especially when there are conflicting stories out about who won in Colorado.

You guys should watch this chat - almost every post is

about RP - they're scared! link again (copy/paste & fix): http://mittromneycentral dot com/community/chat/

Matt in VA: This is purely academic. No need to worry about delegates.
JSmith: Romney will have a hard time bribing Paulbotz
CK: That is true that sometimes when Paul supporters see that Romney is winning they try to pretend to be a Romney supporter, however we saw right through that. One guy tried to do that and he never had come to our group to ask who to vote for and was hanging out with the paul people so it was pretty obvious he was lying in his speech

God grants liberty only to those who love it, and are always ready to guard and defend it. – Daniel Webster

your link is

HILARIOUS! The whole page is entertaining snip-its and sound bites of nonsense. Pretty safe to say there is no intellectual revolution occurring over in Flipper's camp. The page is covered in Ann Romney, which is actually a good move, b/c there are less pictures of mittens. Besides being scared of RP, they are surprisingly talking about how Iran doesn't have an air force and isn't a 'real' threat. Kind of refreshing really. The best part is that they keep accusing each other of being RP supporters. LOL! Serious!

your link is down

anon?

One day, I'm gonna' change my name to Dale Lee Paul

You have to add the dot in. He has it that way so it doesn't

Hah!

I was doing some reading, and these people are apparently believing the MSM delegate counts!

I keep seeing things like:

"ROMNEY ONLY NEEDS 44% OF ALL REMAINING DELEGATES TO CLINCH"

and

"IN ORDER TO WIN THE NOMINATION PAUL AND GINGRICH MUST WIN 92% AND 86% OF ALL REMAINING DELEGATES RESPECTIVELY"

(The all-caps is from them, not me.)

edit: I feel like I'm losing IQ points reading some of this. They think CNN is the greatest thing ever, etc. The whole impression I'm getting is "clueless, unorganized, but quite sure of themselves." One guy even said "There was a caucus today?" It's interesting reading, but I don't know if I can take much of it. It does show their point of view, certainly.

Way to go!

Way to go! This is AWESOME! You all rock!

Freedom! But beware of Romney interrogations!

Recording

Man, they are REALLY pushing this "no video recording" thing everywhere, aren't they? We all need to be ready to fight against that, whether they try to make it a separate rule or part of list of rules they have ready to be voted on.

I can't think of ANY proper reason to ban recording.

FREEDOM!

Me either! Great job folks!

Me either! Great job folks!

Great Job!! Congratulations!!!

Thank you for all of your hard work today!!!

Combined with the Convention News out of Oklahoma, Colorado, and Minnesota this has been an amazing day for Ron Paul.

Two hours until midnight and the start of the Money Bomb!!!!

WOW!

My most sincere gratitude for all of your hard work! I'm so proud to be a witness of this movement! I know one day I will tell my grandchildren this story:-)

I saw you Agenda 21 guy! You Scott or the other feller?

Good work today! Also let it be said that a majority 'resolved' to abolish the minimum wage, thanks to Goodspaceguy on that one! On to Tacoma!
Regards,
the "congress are bastards" guy.

Hi Adam! I enjoyed your speech and yes...

...you DID use the right word! Bravo!

Also congratulations on winning an alternate position.

I was the one who originally spoke on U.N. Agenda 21. I must give credit to Tammy (don't know her last name) who passed out the leaflets about it.

She could not introduce it as a resolution because she was not a delegate.

And how about that resolution abolishing the minimum wage!

We had a great day all around.

I am PawnStorm on the DailyPaul and I live in Renton.

I was the number 8 position delegate elected.

See you in Tacoma!
Let's keep in touch.

That is Tamra

No Tammy! I will let her know you spoke highly of her!

Now, be sure and go to the county convention April 28th so we can get the platform we want and pass the resolutions we want and elect representatives to the credentials, rules and platform state committees! It is downtown at the trade center, the 36th is happy to host!

that's how we win this thing

awesome job and great news!

WA 3rd district

Thank you!

Here's some more good news:
