ron paul needs a controversy

To get some media attention, Ron Paul needs to say something that the MSM will find controversial and hope to use against him. Something that, in the end, will backfire on them. They tried the Lincoln deal, and it didn't really catch fire, so I'm sure they're looking for another one. I'm looking for ideas, but I have my vote. I think Ron Paul should say he believes, based on specific intel, that Osama bin Laden is dead and has been for 6 years or however long he actually has been dead. That could get Americans digging a little deeper and, as you know, the OBL myth is hanging on by a thread as it is. What do you guys think?

Endorsements from celebs?
Where are the celebrities? Musical artists, movie stars, and the like? Are they all socialists too?
For an informed citizenry, individuals must discard the television set in favor of the acquisition of information via either books and/or the internet. An uneducated populous will remain in ignorance and thus continue to suffer the sharp ax of tyranny.
Hollywood controls their careers
They do as they are told. I doubt you'll have too many of them publicly supporting him if they want to keep working in Hollywood.
They may let someone put out a little controlled opposition- but that would be it.
i think
I think that your comment is a typical, ignorant statement of an armchair political hack. Leave the campaign strategies to the professionals. Ron Paul's career has been about truths not hopes. This kind of junk simply helps the mainstream population view Ron Paul and his supporters as kooks.
You asked.
He needs a big name endorsement
huck beat it to a pulp,But look how much press Chuck Norris got Huck
Give me Liberty or Give me death
Give me Liberty or Give me death
Will offend
I think that'll offend a lot of 9/11 victim's families who still believe the OBL myth. Personally, I don't think Osama is alive anymore after the Bhutto remark, and I am skeptical on whether OBL was a media creation, or if he was real but a scapegoat. This isn't a discussion about OBL... sooo....
I don't think Ron Paul needs a scandal. What he says itself is influential. MSM just isn't listening.
Media is listening to Dr Paul
They're listening to DP, they just don't want everyone else to hear it. There's too much at steak for them.
