Alaska Delegates Need Your Help!

Ron Paul Delegates in Alaska Going the Extra Mile

Actually, several Ron Paul Delegates will be flying over 700 miles in order to attend the Alaska Republican Party State Convention. In Alaska, to be a State Convention Delegate you must be elected at a District Convention, pay district and state convention registration fees, and then arrange your own travel to Anchorage. This means that many delegates will incur costs of $1800 just to vote for Dr. Paul at the State Convention. Truly, this is going the extra mile.

Ron Paul Delegates are traveling to the state convention from all parts of the state. We even have six Ron Paul Delegates who will be traveling all the way from Barrow, Alaska (the northernmost city in the United States) to vote for Dr. Paul. Because of the extensive costs they will incur in doing so, we are welcoming support to help our delegates be able to afford the journey. Please extend a hand of support to some of our most dedicated delegates. Any amount will be an encouragement.

The six elected Ron Paul Delegates traveling from Barrow (Alaska House District 40) are:

Connie, Jess, Tavia, Scott, Timothy, and Tyrone.

The House District Chairman who will be leading the delegation from Barrow is Tyrone Barr.

I don't mean this to sound

I don't mean this to sound like I don't like Alaska... but why isn't there a huge secession movement up there? Fly 1800 miles to vote in a State convention to send delegates 4,500 miles to a national convention to nominate someone to run your life (or in RP's case logically let you run you're own) from 4,200 miles away?

Secession in Alaska?

Depending upon who wins the presidential race this November, then ask us Alaskans about the "s" word. Does the name Joe Vogler come to mind?

Cool! Just read up about him

Cool! Just read up about him on wikipedia. I'd be so happy for Alaska if secession movement grew stronger. It'd help everyone out to recognize the nature of our Republic!

In Alaska...

...you learn to do what you gotta do...and survive!

No stronger crew than those in Alaska. What he is doing here is magnanimous and we ALL should respond in kind. Hard devoted work to do what they are doing deserves to be supported and donated to. If we were to win Alaska as we should rightly do, it could be that one stick that breaks the camels back in a good way.

So come on people, sure we are all drained from the money bomb, but if you can, squeeze some out to help these good folks up there in the harsh and far North. It is the right thing to do.

Paging Dr K!

Waiting for further directions

In the meantime I will take in one of my fave shows that is based in that mans land of a state. "Deadliest Catch". With my gorgeous wife by my side. Life is good. Let's hope we can keep it this way and help others out as well. End the Fed! Dr Paul or None at All! Good luck winning w/o us Mittens!!!

Direct Email Contact for Help From the "Lower 49"

Fellow Ron Paul supporters from the "Lower 49":

Here is the contact email for how you can help our delegates & alternates from the far-flung regions of Alaska to be able to attend the State Convention in Anchorage next week:

We have a list of delegates & alternates across the state who need financial assistance. We will match up your donations & contact info with those people, directly.

Later we will prepare PayPal accounts for those delegates & alternates so your donations can go directly into their accounts. In the meantime, please contact us at: info@Alaskans4RonPaul2012.org
so we can match your donations with those in need right now.

Thank you all so very much! For Liberty! For Ron Paul!

Bill Topel

We Appreciate Alaska's Support Of Ron Paul

How do we donate?

I sent a message to the e-mail link

suggested that the contact the Daily Paul for a chip-in. Good idea or no?

No Chip-Ins to Help Alaskan Delegates, Just Email Us First.

Please see my earlier post today. Setting up & retrieving Chip-In monies are nearly a logistical nightmare. It's easier & quicker if y'all just email us directly at info@Alaskans4RonPaul2012.org & we will match up your donations with delegates & alternates we've already identified from the far-flung corners of Alaska. Thank you, in advance, for your help & support!

It is a good idea!

A chipin is right idea .... here's one from WA state

Another DP user posted a link to his chipin for raising the $99 WA state convention fee

Here's the original post (the chipin link is in a comment at the bottom; the original link was to a Paypal donation page).

Excellent idea

I just emailed them asking how I can help. That is larger sacrifice than many would make. Least we can do here is get some cash together and help out. This is grassroots right? This what living in a fee society is all about. Helping your neighbor. Not getting robbed by the state so it can "help" your neighbor.

Paulista Uprising in Georgia Against NDAA

Good news! Georgia's GOP Congressional District conventions were Saturday the 14th. Here's some news from the 12th District Convention in Vidalia. We presented two resolutions: one to repeal Section 1021 of the NDAA, and one to End the Fed. Both passed with 95% majorities. We unseated one delegate to Tampa and took that spot for Dr. Paul (one of three) and took one alternate spot for Dr. Paul (also one of three). Here's what happened:

All together shout it now!
There's no one who can doubt it now!
So let's tell the world about it now:
R3VOLUTION's here again!

Congratulations to the 12th District in Vidalia, Georgia!

Repealing the NDAA, at least the Section 1021 of it, is on our priority list in Alaska for the State Convention next week, too.

If there is any help we can get from our rebel brothers & sisters from the Peach State ("Agriculture and Commerce, Wisdom, Justice and Moderation") to help us in "The Last Frontier", that would be greatly appreciated.

I know it's a last minute appeal, but the "powers-that-be" are enforcing strict deadlines on us that reinforce the logistical hurdles in front of us. The exorbitant price of jet fuel up here, the long distances, the need for child care at the convention, are all part of what is needed to be overcome. We are putting delegates & alternates up in various homes in Anchorage, filing up B & B's & hostels, & the price of hotel rooms here are outrageous. We can do this & we will, with any help we can get at this point in time. This is momentous!

Thank you for all you've done down there, now it's our turn up here!

What about the alternates?

What about the alternates?

Alternates are important, too!

We are encouraging our elected Alternates to attend. The can fill-in when Delegates need a break. They can provide some extra resource help for our active delegates in their own & other district delegations. Most importantly, they will be there should their own districts need to complete their representation allotments. The alternates are important, too!

Bill Topel

maybe if Romney delegates can

maybe if Romney delegates can afford to make it then we could get some of our alternates to go. Do we have alternates? I forget
