New Ron Paul book: "Ron Paul vs. Paul Krugman"

Review at Foreign Policy Journal:

Jeremy R. Hammond, Ron Paul vs. Paul Krugman: Austrian vs. Keynesian economics in the financial crisis (2012).

The reader does not have to be highly knowledgeable about the world of economic theory to understand Ron Paul vs. Paul Krugman. Clearly written, and with an obvious and well supported perspective, the short work highlights some of the aspects of all the political discussions about free markets, government intervention, and how certain authorities—essentially Krugman in this study—are quite willing to change their words to suit their own purposes. Krugman’s main purpose appears to be to avoid accepting any blame for the financial mess that the U.S. and thus the world is currently immersed in.

"This discussion, by leaving out much of the economic jargon, presents a clear case that Ron Paul has it right and has been consistent, and still is consistent, with his views and advocacy for true free market action."

Just when I thought I had ordered every book on my list

I'm gonna have to start taking out loans for all the books that I order!

Umm, not that I'm encouraging

Umm, not that I'm encouraging you to, but you can read now and just buy it another time. Someone, ehem, put it up on The Pirate Bay. If you need a link, let me know.

As far as I'm concerned, the more exposure this VERY important narrative gets, the BETTER!

If you like it, buy it! Until

If you like it, buy it! Until you can afford it though, you can download the ePub & Mobi here:

It should be Krugman vs Schiff. Ron Paul is WAY out of Krugman's league. That's like comparing an olympian to a middle-school gym-class star.

Kindle here I come

Just shot it over to my Kindle. Sweet.

Considering that Ron Paul

Considering that Ron Paul predicted the housing bubble and financial crisis long before it ever occured and that fact that Paul Krugman, a Nobel Laureate in economics, failed to ever predict these crises, you really have to wonder about the wisdom of Ron Paul, and the lack of wisdom of Paul Krugman.

Krugman did in fact predict

Krugman did in fact predict the housing bubble. However, he maintains that it was a negative consequence of a good fed move, where as RP says that it is a negative consequence showing how the fed causes harm the the economy.

Krugman advocated creating a housing bubble in 2002

"To fight this recession the Fed needs more than a snapback; it needs soaring household spending to offset moribund business investment. And to do that, as Paul McCulley of Pimco put it, Alan Greenspan needs to create a housing bubble to replace the Nasdaq bubble."

I don't know if advocacy counts as a prediction.

Nobel Peace Prize has become a joke

The Nobel Peace Prize has become less valuable like our paper currency. Heck even Obama becomes a Nobel Laureate! Obama should be on the Guinness World Records for the most drone strikes under a Nobel Laureate!

What an excellent Idea

I'm looking forward to reading and owning a copy of this book! I'll buy it off the Amazon link and that should help the Daily Paul.

This concept, of putting Ron Paul's message against MSM "talking heads" babble, is brilliant!

I have a feeling this book will make a great gift too!
