The American Majority

The American majority is clueless plain and simple and this is exactly why a democracy SUCKS! We've become individuals who don't even believe in anything. We don't even think for ourselves. It doesn't even matter if you support President Obama or if your against him because - in all actuality - it's likely you can't provide a single valid reason why you do or you don't. You probably don't even care who the President is or will be. Your more worried about being one of the first to pre-order the iPhone 5 that's coming out soon.

But the elections will still come and the majority will vote. And they'll vote for the person who's the best looking, the one who's 'winning', the one who's not Obama, the one who's republican, the one who's democrat. Heck! A lot will vote for the person who someone else tells them to vote for just because.

And in the end, not a damn thing will change in this country. Our elected President will put his hand on the bible and swear to uphold the constitution(but this is just a PR event that no longer has meaning). And the manipulation will begin. Our rights slowly compromised. Hidden by justification. The excitement of a new president will subside and the honest man will carry no lighter of a burden. He will be no freer. His happiness subject to those who impose their will upon him. It has been decided, the majority has spoken. For the sake of security and social welfare, all must sacrifice. Our republic dies.
