Why Is Ted Nugent backing Romney ?

Nugent goes to speak before the NRA, a milquetoast shooting sports rights organization which long ago forsook gun owners. He champions this proven gun grabber who receives a D- score on gun rights from real gun rights organizations. He makes out this liberal crony-capitalist douche to be some kind of anti-Obama messiah who will deliver us from the evil of Democrats. Ignoring the fact that his nickname is Obomney for a very good reason, not merely because it's a cute play on names.

Dr. Paul is on a mission to rescue the GOP from this freak show of Hannity, Beck, Nugent, Limbaugh, Ingraham, on his way to rescuing America. I'm holding out hope for Ron Paul endorsements when the time is right! We need to keep up the pressure in the long ground war in the mean time.

Rick Santorum pointedly has not endorsed Romney. Sarah Palin keeps endorsing Ron Paul's ideas on TV while backhandedly pretending to acknowledge that he will "never" be the nominee, so that her hyper-partisan hosts will continue to invite her back on their show.

It may be just plain fear. Ted Nugent is afraid. I came from the very agressive foriegn policy side so I understand. I was afraid of basically eveyone in in the world coming over here.

Whereas Chuck Norris has become quite abit more nuanced in understanding our political paradigm (and WOULD BE supporting Ron Paul if he didnt fear the backlash), Nugent is the proverbial backwoods redneck. And he does all country folk a disservice with his skin deep analysis of American politics. The guy talks like Mitt Romney is some kind of savior (I doubt Mitts's kids even view him in that light). The question is, does he really believe all his own BS?

Ted Nugent is a fraud. The guy has been BSing conservatives for years. For some reason gun rights activists think Nugent is on their side, but he supports someone like Romney who is no friend of the second amendment. Nugent plays constitutional conservatives the same way Bill Maher plays progressive liberals. Just frauds who are good at speaking in public who really are friends of the establishment and are rallying up the troops for the next election. Such a joke Ted Nugent really is.

Because Ted Nugent is a sellout hypocrite. He claims to be a zealous defender of the Second Amendment and gun rights, but then he turns around and endorses someone with a lifetime history as a gun control advocate. And it is especially hypocritical that he does so while there is an alternative choice that is steadfastly principled for the first time in living memory.

It shows that although Nugent talks a good game, he is really more interested in supporting the popular than standing on principle. He is more interested in appeasing the party establishment, even if it means selling out gun rights and the Second Amendment. In that respect he is lock step with the NRA.

Nugent is a paid shill. Romney is anti gun rights, what else could it be. Money talks and bullshit walks=sellout.

Nugent is a big second amendment guy and he supports Romney ?? Romney will disarm us just as fast as the Obama administration, just with a different approach. Remember, the NRA had Newt as a quest speaker a few years ago. The NRA is a sell out just like the people who speak at their conventions. Nugent is selling us out. That or he is a genuine idiot.

but that's it, he's all about money. I support the NRA for fighting for the rights of gun owners. Times like these makes me wonder are they fighting for my rights or for their bank accounts. I am a gun owner and I'll be damned if I trust Romney or Obama with protecting my second amendment rights.
