Help Alaska Delegates Get To The State Convention!

Through a prior post, I made contact via e-mail and received the response below. Please consider helping/donating!

Fellow Ron Paul supporters from the "Lower 49":

Here is the contact email for how you can help our delegates & alternates from the far-flung regions of Alaska to be able to attend the State Convention in Anchorage next week:

We have a list of delegates & alternates across the state who need financial assistance. We will match up your donations & contact info with those people, directly.

Later we will prepare PayPal accounts for those delegates & alternates so your donations can go directly into their accounts. In the meantime, please contact us at: info@Alaskans4RonPaul2012.org
so we can match your donations with those in need right now.

Thank you all so very much! For Liberty! For Ron Paul!

I emailed info@alaskans4ronpaul.org and received a response

right away and have been put in touch with a lady who needs help with her state delegate fees/travel. I have to say they are very well organized and professional - urge everyone to contact them and offer your help, even if it's just a few bucks.

The GOP is refusing payment of any kind from an RP delegate.

Letters from RP Campaign legal firm sent to the GOP as of yesterday. Is this resolved today?

Now it's about the Constitution and the fight to defend it.

Progress has been good!

OK, the folks I personally was worried about have all paid their convention fees as of this time -- approximately a dozen in all ($3,000)! As of a few days ago, Evan Cutler had a statewide list of 29 other delegates who had not yet paid, but I assume some of them are now paid up. If someone is still able to help, the best approach would be to contact Evan or Bill Topel or some other ethical Ron Paul organizer to see that a stated need is valid, or to find out where the most dire needs are.

Remaining need estimate.

I am estimating that our remaining need for delegate fee payments is less than $7250, but there are a number of delegates who have to fly to Anchorage (most of Alaska is accessible only by air) and it is not cheap! The national Ron Paul campaign's legal team has bought us a little extra time to get the money raised, so let's find ways to do so! The delegate counts are incredibly crucial!

I don't mind helping out but what kind of verification

can we get that they are actually RP supporters? I'd freak if I accidently funded a Romney delegate :-)

Verification of Recipient Donations to Help Alaska RP Delegates

I understand your reluctance & due diligence. Please let me explain.

Evan Cutler was with the 2008 Ron Paul campaign, as was myself. He also led the 2010 Ron Paul supporters to the State Convention, as in 2012 now. I was a State Delegate for Ron Paul in 2008 but could note afford to go to State in 2010, participating as far as just the district convention level. This time I'm an Alternate to the 2012 State Convention, while Evan is a Bonus Vote to the State Central Committee from his district. You can also contact John Tate, from the national Ron Paul 2012 Campaign office for verification. You can also verify through Andrew Sharp, who came up here on assignment from the national campaign in late February to help us organize for the March 6 district conventions. His FB site is:

https://www.facebook.com/andrew.sharp?ref=ts .

There are still many of us participating this year that are veterans of the 2008 & 2010 State Conventions. We have learned many VALUABLE lessons since then. This year WE ARE STRONG! I'm not at liberty to disclose actual delegate counts, for obvious strategic reasons, but I can assure you, if all of our elected Ron Paul Delegates & Alternates are able to attend, plus with the addition of any disaffected Santorum delegates up here (and there are many), then we will definitely be able to change the party chair & more. It is the current party chair that has blocked us almost every step of the way -- in 2008, in 2010, & now:

Our Ron Paul Delegates are the cake. Any Santorum & disaffected delegates are the icing. Together we will serve a tasty dessert called THE ALASKA RON PAUL REVOLUTION if we can get this last minute support from our brethren & fellow freedom-lovers from the "Lower 49". But what hinders some of those key votes are the logistical costs of some of our far-flung delegates & alternates. We have ways to vett our delegates & alternates. It has worked so far. I can drop some more names, if necessary, through private emails, if desired, for your own verification. The battle up here is that close, or we would not have taken this extra step to plead our case via The Daily Paul.

Good Point

But also know this...people do not mess around in Alaska.

A man's life can depend on an Alaskan's word.

Speaking from experience, one tends to believe what people say in Alaska considering the strong beliefs in the second amendment and the practice of good sense Common Law that tends to be the way of the bush when there are no troopers around for hundreds of miles.
