Super Brochure delayed delivery?

Update, just got an email from Curt. Looks like the party who hadn't received one had to have "They had to be a Republican who lived at the same address and voted in all the primaries, general elections, and special elections since 2008."

I don't know if she made every special election... Guaranteed she made every primary and general election, though.

This should be a lesson for you and for all

know your enemies. The Super Brochure was obviously above board, to call it a scam before you got an answer could have cost us people in the future who would have donated to it. Choose words carefully, I am not degrading you because it seems you had great intentions and were trying to help the cause, but we cannot afford setbacks at this time. I realize you are newer to all of this and I appreciate your motivation, just please be careful and realize every person trying to push this movement forward needs to be scrutinized carefully and with patience, most are against us. Thanks for all you do but tread carefully, we have a whole country at stake, possibly the world.

i think just like doug wead being called cointelpro (whatever

that term means) by many conspiracists and peter schiff being called some spy-equivalent term by the same group because he is a jew (what was the term.. oh, right, zionist) didn't discourage them from speaking out--if you're truly passionate, it's not going to deter you. if calling people wrong names is your primary concern, i believe you have much larger fish to fry.

I saw some one at a Ron Paul Rally handing out

the super brochures

Thank you!!!

I read the original post, and understand your concerns.
You made the title more appropriate, and that is the reason for the thanks.
Believe these guys are busting their ass for the Ron Paul campaign, and may be a little overwhelmed, keep pressing the issue, I'm sure it will be resolved to everyone’s satisfaction.
I am in California and plan on doing the same thing for my zip code and as many of the surrounding areas that I can afford. Though I don’t have as much to spend as you did, I will do my part. For now, I’m just waiting my turn.
Will bookmark this thread; keep us posted on your findings.
Good Luck!!!

No the Super Brochures are not a scam, but

they are provided by a 3rd party making a nice sum of money. They also have paid sales people to push these products on this webiste. It's capitalism. Zach Carter came forward and explained much of this. You're the consumer; decide if you want to spend your money on it.

It's unfortunate you're having a bad experience.

As I've said all along, if you want good campaign material, buy the slim jims from the campaign. They are more cost effective and can be geared for specific audiences.

Certainly, some of the backers will come along and slam this post and call me a troll. Whatever. I'm all for Ron Paul...but really bothered some of the stuff with the Super Brochures. If you show any skepticism of the SB on this site, be prepared for the goon squad to come after you, or your posts deleted, or your account blocked.

Many Ron Paul support efforts are making money.

The commercial phone banking company who were hired by the campaign is making money and some of their people were here knocking the Super Brochure because they saw it as competition.

Ron Paul Products has supported Ron Paul for a long time and I know that Erik and Curt have extended themselves beyond the call of duty to make the campaign a success. They also put out a lot of money to get the Super Brochure off the ground and it has been a success in spite of the efforts of some to scuttle it.

Drawing invidious comparisons between different publicity efforts is destructive. It achieves nothing good for the campaign. Why you cannot see this is incomprehensible. If you have nothing good to say, say nothing.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

I had a very good experience...

I had a very good experience with Curt Schultz back in February. After Ron Paul Products neatly packaged and shipped my super brochures, the US Postal Service totally trashed my box of brochures, held on to them for two weeks, then delivered them loose in a mail bin to my doorstep with a letter basically saying "oops, sorry, we damaged your package by accident". About 1/3 of the brochures were damaged in some way, and some were missing. I emailed Curt to let him know, and to ask if others were having the same problem with the US Postal Service. In less than 24 hours, I received a very nice email response from him. He offered to quickly send me another box of brochures for free (even though the USPS was to blame).

We covered our precinct with the brochures, and I believe we got about twice as many votes for Ron Paul in the primary than we would have gotten without them. People are usually impressed when they see the super brochure.

Also, we bought precincts in several states, including other parts of GA. People we know in those precincts, who voted in the last several Republican primaries, did receive the brochure in the mail.

My concern...is that some people within the USPS (who do not like Ron Paul) may be damaging some of them on purpose, or in some cases, a mailman might not put them in mailboxes.

Keep trying...

I'd keep trying to get in touch with them but I wouldn't worry too much. I agree with jtstellar and crickett below. I've seen too many of those super brochures around for me to think it is a scam. The official campaign has even commented on them being sent to super voters in the past.

Thank you for your comment.

Thank you for your comment. I'll call again tomorrow and once I figure out what happened, I'll update this thread.

I think someone needs to

I think someone needs to contact OP..I hate it when I am ignored by anyone. If his mother never got a brochure in the precinct he bought, then WHY? AND the OP asks a question..did not make an accusation..he is legitimately concerned and I do not blame him one bit, myself..

thank you, I appreciate it

I'd also like to add that I'd be willing to provide any information to get this resolved.

Why not ask the creator of the Super Brochure

before posting something that damages it? I am sorry, but your post makes me angry. Go to the source.

Read it

been on the site for awhile for the hair trigger. I am beyond the point of making quick judgements against things that are so obviously pro the cause and have learned to choose wiser battles based on knowledge. The Super Brochure is obviously made to help the cause and I will not waste my time attacking it. We hit the string on the guillotine anytime things get a little off course around here and that is a problem. Our inability to give a little rope is what will hang us. I choose battles which are obviously detrimental to the cause, the Super Brochure is obviously something that does not need our vigilance to assure it is on the right path. I like to see this post as chasing our own tail which will only lead us back to the beginning. A person is spending his time and money creating a brochure to help us all, and we question him like a criminal. See the obvious and work towards the real problems we are facing. Have a nice day!!!!!

I've emailed him twice and

I've emailed him twice and called him. Is there someone beyond Curt that I can contact, if so, please let me know.

I don't work for Eric or Curt. But I got the brochures.

A wonderful guy here at The Daily Paul (hello, Michael!) offered FREE CASES OF RON PAUL 2012 BROCHURES.

I e-mailed him and got them: Unfortunately the package was TRASHED! Instead of 1,000 I got a little over 300, many damaged (I went as far as Ironing Them). The package was re-packaged by USPS because the original package was trashed.

This was a couple of months ago.

I contacted Curt and he looked at the order that was kindly placed by Michael on my behalf and saw how long it took to get here and that the package was damaged and:

He sent me a box of 1,000 - FREE OF CHARGE.

So I ended up with over 1,000 Brochures which I carry with me EVERY DAY. I am using them lately to INVITE PEOPLE TO COME HERE TO THE DAILY PAUL AND JOIN US.

To Eric and Curt:

I am going to go get a beer to CHEER for what you have done!

Love you guys! Hope to meet you both in person in Tampa! GROUP HUG!

I have gotten more since and will re-load whenever I run out and continue to hand them out ALL YEAR LONG. EVERY DAY. Going out now to run some errands and: Taking a little stack of brochures with me :)

ALL WEEK AND OVER THE WEEKEND! $2.5 Million Dollars and Mission Accomplished for Texas. California will be next :)

Thanks, I'm glad to hear of

Thanks, I'm glad to hear of your positive experience. I'm hoping this will get resolved to such a satisfactory outcome.

are you a troll, Mr. First

are you a troll, Mr. First Post? I think so. Only trolls make a divisive post on their first thread. If you really think that is what is happening, you need to keep contacting Curt. No benefit will come to you by posting here.

I concur Nate

to question the validity of the Super Brochure is absolute nonsense. I give the original poster some slack as they may not trust anything as of now because they are new, and I appreciate anyone's scrutiny even if they are new, but to question the Super Brochure is uncalled for. It is obviously a well intentioned project.

Fuuucck you troll police go play with yourself

How many times do I have to say it, stop it with this totalitarian troll shit, Christ, you don't know this guy

"Leo Strauss, Scoop Jackson & Irving Kristol can rot in hell"

Stop being an ahole

The man clearly has a legitimate concern. He has contacted the people over at the SuperBrochure already, and doesn't really seem to be jumping the gun here. For you to call him a "troll" for this post just makes you look foolish.

OP here.

You're wrong in believing that only trolls make divisive posts on their first thread. I'm the exception.

I've been posting on another forum (reddit) all year. I can confirm this. As a matter of I can confirm everything I've posted.

I learned about the superbrochure here, and decided this was the best place to ask a question.

I've emailed him and called him. He responded to my first email in a matter of hours. My last email hasn't been responded to in a week.

Finally, I hope that there are other individuals here who are more open to a question than you.

No, I'm not wrong. You may be

No, I'm not wrong. You may be a legit Paul supporter, but by making this post you are now a troll. You may love movies, but if you run into a theater and scream "FIRE!" you're an instigator. Quite frankly I don't buy your story. People who come onto a forum and make their first post one that is slandering a grassroots project (one of the best of 2012 no less) are 99% likely to be a troll. Whether you actually are or not is irrelevant. You've decided to group yourself with them by your actions.

Email Curt again and get it figured out, but don't make a post calling Curt's very hard work a scam. There are literally thousands of people who will tell you it is not a scam. Curt is a busy individual. Just keep trying to contact him.

Define troll...

A question is not slandering. You could have just said, "Don't worry buddy, I think they are legit!" Nobody asked you to read this post. By definition, you are the troll on this thread.

NOTE: I am not advocating violence in any way. The content of the post is for intellectual, theoretical, and philosophical discussion. FEDS, please don't come to my house.

Ha, never thought I'd say that, but I guess I'm the 1%. Wish I had the money to back it up. I did email Curt again. We'll see.

Maybe these thousands of people who had a positive experience will help me feel better about ~500$ that's gone for, as of now, nothing.

If I offended you with my post, build thicker skin. I never stated (but yes, implied) that the Super Brochures were a scam. If this paints me as a troll in your book, all I say is that your perception is your reality. Your ad hominem paints you as a troll in my book.

ReSend your email

I'm sure most of us have had missing and months late email experiences. Lost in space is a common complaint. Part of the content of an email I sent to my brother 3 days ago was stripped. Handle it!

sent again

sent again

I believe..

they are only sending them to people who have voted GOP or Independent since 2008 or something like that; called super voters. Did your mother vote in 2008/2010?
