any updates or updated threads?? I am curious to find out what Ben Swann was talking about!!
anything new on Alaska conventions today?
when I read the Weade Blog it made me angry as in the past I have run intothis sort of bully tactics doing political activism as well as going up against the system for myself and others who didnt have enough english to deal with bureaucrats
It is sooo demeaning and requires incredible patience and tougue biting
It made me think of how to get past this BS at the door of any venu and here is a suggestion
get TRAVELERS CHECKS and Postal Money Orders
for most of us cash is not flowing but have enough TCs and MOS on hand to cover any fees so there can be no denial of entry
good idea to film the TCs and MOS ahead of time making sure the serial numbers show up good and at least one person other than self in the film with a newspaper date showing
all the proofs you need JUST IN CAASE
the suspects try to clain you did it too late or not at all
when we see these THUG actions we have to think of every little niche they mioght crawl thru to stop us and fill those niches with Boric Acid soaked steel wool
( Boric acid isnt poison to humans but destroys cockroachs
and their nests without harming pets or children , lol )
OH yeah ... film your signing in on the roll making sure to show the date in top and scan past the face of the table worker
to get a good ID
just in case
Why is it scary for a Republican candidate and his Republican supporters to be energized and participate in the Republican primary process by following the rules?
Just what's so scary about that?
There's a lot more to this than meets the eye folks.
Something is going on behind the scenes to scare these people.
You only make our situation WORSE!!! We have this handled. STOP!!!
For the record, here part of a response I made to a person contacting me last night, trying to set up bombardment of the ARP Offices:
Let me say that creating a storm of condemning phone calls to the Alaska Republican Party offices will not help our cause. Some or maybe even all of those you mention in your list are decent people, in their ways…they are just trying to hang on to power and have forgotten why we are all Republicans in the first place,
Please don’t advocate for that mass bombardment you mention; it can only sour things.
We are doing well in our battle and will ask for the help we need as we need it.
Alaska is a giant state, but a small community. The very last thing we need is giving party leadership ammunition to complain about a bunch of “paultards” harassing them.
We are winning this battle with intelligence, true respect for all, clear focus on organizing and the rules, and our most humble and sincere efforts towards grace, and do not need to unleash the wrath of angry hordes.
Please let us fight for ourselves our way, and be patient for two weeks.
We will share our story after the convention here in two weekends.
If you want, pray or wish or meditate or imagine for all to be of pure heart, and treating people with respect from the right place…and imagine closed hearts opening and realizing we are not a threat to them, but sincere advocates for a better world. It’s a generational paradigm shift that is happening. It doesn’t have to be a war. We are using the tools of due process and documentation to assert our rights and we have confidence. The Ron Paul Movement has awakened here to an unprecedented level, and it’s sophisticated.
Think of our hero, Dr. Paul. He would never bombard people with a rash of rash callers. He would advocate for reason, sound arguments, and the assertion of due process. He always has.
We are doing that same thing. And we believe that will be sufficient for now.
Please share this message, not one that generates wrath and scorn. Nothing good will come of that at this point, if ever.
We will only win by not becoming like the perceived enemy, but by recognizing all humankind as our brothers and sisters and treating all with respect. We will win by refusing to be bullied, but always treating all with respect.
Feel free to share this message where ever you see people raising their ire. Calm them with patience. We will complain very loudly if we cannot resolve our problems and have a fair Convention, but we do not seek a media storm now.
The ARP leaders have only played these games of disenfranchisement because they are scared.
In time, they will realize we are just their neighbors, speaking truth to power.
Thank you for your offer and enthusiasm to help…and I hope, I can thank you soon for your respect and trust in us.

Alaskans for Ron Paul 2012
not 2 weeks from now after the convention for some lame State GOP job for a Paulbot because the Alaska GOP Chair resigned. That's just Caesar feeding the little people to the lions.
Delegates MUST be allowed to pay for their registration at the Alaska convention because of all these corrupt stop gap measures they tried to thwart registration of Paul and Santorum delegates.
If we would have laid down and gave up in St. Charles County, MO where our people were arrested, we would have never won over 100 delegates to the state convention.
So folks, instead of crushing the Alaska GOP with, crush the Alaska Media with it and show corruption in the party.
Wonder Woman is right and coming from the trenches. We should respect her request.
Simply ask for help if you all need it up there in the far North.
Trust no one. Make sure they follow the rules or else!!!
Is worth getting arrested over. You know how the MSM feeds on a police state.
On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and complete narcissistic moron.

We can't "take over" the GOP or the USA, and "taking over" is not Ron Paul's way.
What we must do is persuade and convince others to join us, not take over. We don't have the numbers to "take over" anything.
And if we had the numbers, then there would be no reason to "take over", because we would have the numbers...
"Know what you know, know what you don't know, and understand and appreciate the distinction."
I'm not saying they're wrong, but we're on an incremental march onward and upward, and we shouldn't leave our gains on the table. We've made great gains - electorally and institutionally - within the Republican Party. Think of the cheating lengths to which some have gone to stop us, demonstrating their fear at our success. We need to "press on", not take our ball and go home!
I like to say "retake," since Liberty has been taken away. My only concern is once the GOP is retaken, will we have a fraudless national election? We need to retake the eletion process as well...
From my email just a moment ago.
In an abundance of caution and a desire to make sure that no FEC laws were being broken Chairman Ruedrich and the legal counsel of the Alaska Republican Party have crafted the following regarding collection of delegate fees. In my opinion the rules were certainly clear about the 10 day requirements and were it up to me they would have been enforced.
Frank McQueary, Asst. Treasurer
Some concern has recently arisen regarding the payment of delegate fees for next week’s Alaska Republican Party State Convention. Hopefully, this email will help to clear up any misconceptions.
(1) The party will accept delegate fees until the close of registration at the convention. The convention hotel requires a count of attendees by the end of today, however, and so those paying their delegate fees after today cannot be guaranteed meals at the convention.
(2) Payment of delegate fees may be made by personal check, credit card, or debit card. Cash, money orders, and corporate checks or credit cards may not be used to pay delegate fees.
(3) Delegates must pay their own fees. Third parties may not pay delegate fees on behalf of a delegate (family members may pay from a family account), nor can they promise to reimburse a delegate for their fees.

You think they would accept cash at the convention hall, but at least they allow you to pay at the Hall.
"No Federal Reserve Notes accepted here"
Bring your Obama Silver rounds dude wtf?
I have about 40 of these I was trying to pedal as a joke. No takers...
I get the impression they're after a paper trail on the money so they can meet the federal election commission bureaucratic requirements.
Too bad you can't get into an "owe them a debt" situation. Then if they refuse Federal Reserve Notes you can get in free, thanks to the legal tender laws. B-)

"Obama’s Economists: ‘Stimulus’ Has Cost $278,000 per Job."
That means: For each job "created or saved" about five were destroyed.
I just got out of a NC district convention, and I wanted to let you know about a few of the notes I took.
1.) Romney's followers are Romney's followers because they believe he's their best shot to beat Obama, and that's it.
Romney is not only driving a wedge between the old and the new, he is going to subsequently get defeated based on his felonious activity with Damon corp and his bad-business lobbying at the olympics. He isn't even a good business man!
2.) People like experience.
If you have experience dealing, talking, and negotiating with people, then you mean more to your Peers; so highlight that!
3.) People need to be educated.
If you're going to the convention, understand that your job will be similar to that of a teacher. The people down there are ignorant and blind, and it will be your job to teach the student that doesn't want to learn. If you feel that you can do that, and that you can keep your head, then by all means, go to Tampa with the rest of us and ring that bell! If not...
4.) Sponsorships can be done!
One of the things we did at my district convention was to throw our support behind someone, and while on stage, make it clear that anyone that would have voted for me, voted instead for 3 other people that had proven themselves to me.
Going to Tampa is not inexpensive, so plan accordingly, and expect to fork over 3~5k for the venture.
God bless you all.
... and btw. We chose all our RNC delegates at our district convention. What are you planning on doing at the State convention for RP?
Please explain why you would lie about this.
Secondly, NC does not elect all of their RNC Delegates at their District Conventions--only 6 Delegates, 6 Alternate Delegates and 1 Elector at each of their 13 District Conventions. 13 At-Large Delegates and 13 At-Large Alternate Delegates will be elected at the NCGOP Convention.
Why are you lying?
The Convention was actually held last Saturday, and it was an AWESOME experience.
However, we actually only had a chance to elect 3 primaries and 3 alternates this year... something about a penalty or some junk.
I did not get to be elected a Delegate for the RNC, but I was elected as a delegate at large.
Also, for your information we voted in 1 primary delgate for RP and 2 or 3 (of 3) alternates.
I unfortunately did not know about the local chapter for Ron Paul that had arrived there in force, so I was not on their focused list of candidates... so I effectively slipped through the cracks.
They meant just got back a few days ago...
I did quick check on his forum topics.
North Carolina District Conventions
CD 11: Saturday 14 April.
Please remove your comment stephieb. We are all friends here trying to row in the same direction (except for the trolls!). :)
"If you put a gun to my head and said vote Romney/Gingrich/Santorum...I would say pull the trigger!"
Please give him a chance to explain himself before you accuse him of lying. Thank you.
A Constitutional, Christian conservative who voted for Ron and stands with Rand
win today at your District Convention? Its strange you would have a district convention during the day and this time of the week.
Our District convention was on a weekday from 11 AM to 3PM hardly available to the working individual.
was going to be on Sat & Sun, but they are going to have the opening day on a Friday...
On Monday I went to the Alaska GOP site and followed the "Pay your delegate fee here link." This opened to a new site where a list of "meals" was the only option. The meals listed totaled the $250 that I was expecting to pay. Having been told that meals are included in your delegate fee it was intiutive to me that this was part of the process. So I resgistered through that site. Fast forward to Wednesday when I get the email about registering by Wednesday evening and that the only way to do so was to call in.It was at this time I realized my error. I called the number and spoke with a very pleasent lady who assured me my payment in error (for meals) would be credited to my delegate fee. She did take my cc info again. Unfortunantly its maxed out if they try and charge it a second time it will decline.I asked for an email, fax, or mailed confirmation she said she could not and was overly pandering in assuring me that everything would be good to go when I arrived and that these were honest upright people we were working with.
At this moment I do not know my status. Unlike many Paul delegates I have been a registered republican since 1987. I hope to use this to my advantage. If they keep my money and don't let me in I'll file cc fruad charges. I'll be watching my account over the next couple of days. I suspect that they will credit my account and not recharged and they will insist "sorry we didn't get your payment". Stuck in limbo at the moment.
It looks like George Soros has weighed in on the GOP Presidential race. When asked, Mr. Soros stated that he saw very little difference between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. When it comes to government run health care or tax increases, both seem to share the same view. The only difference, in Mr. Soros mind, is who will surround Mitt Romney; conservatives or fellow middle-of-the-road liberals. Let’s hope it is very conservative people who work with Mr. Romney as it appears we may be stuck with him. At least George will be happy.
had problems posting this so made two posts of it
