They put up two of Ron Paul's

They put up two of Ron Paul's ads. I'm sure he did more than that.

Of course the best Ron Paul ads are the ones on youtube created by his fans.

Same Here

They responded to me too!! Awesome everyone!!

Hi Jeff Brown,

Thanks for calling this oversight to our attention. Ron Paul had not had a lot of broadcast ads, so was not included in the political ad tracker. However, USA TODAY is planning to update the feature by tomorrow. We appreciate your feedback.

Sincerely,
USA TODAY staff

Comments: Why did you deliberately leave Ron Paul off the filter list for Presidentail Candidate(s) videos? People like you are what's wrong with this country. Please add his name to the filter list as he has videos too...let's be fair, okay?

Thanks.

ron paul on local cbs news!

tonite on AZ cbs channel 5 local news they actually talked about Ron Paul as a still campaigning presidential candidate and showed the crowd at Cornell U. yesterday. they said the tickets for over 4,000 people went quickly. They interviewed Dr.Paul who stated he polls well against Obama and in some polls he does better than Obama. Of course I taped this historic MSM news moment. My mouth is still hanging open and my hands are trembling as l write this. after months of almost total news blackout - unbelievable - a positive report!!

Let's do a email blitz to USA today

there are 27 of them (ads)…here’s the play list

Why only 2 ads USA Today?...commitment to accuracy my a&^%

Response from Factcheck.org Editor

We referred to the "fall preview" in the headline because Obama and Romney spoke on consecutive days to the same audience and attacked each other in what could be a preview of the fall campaign. Although the nomination is not won, the fact is that Romney is far ahead of the remaining candidates in the race, Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich. You say Ron Paul is "a very viable contender for the nomination," but the fact is he has won 63 delegates so far -- less than a tenth of Romney's total, according to the Wall Street Journal delegate tracker.
Of course, it is your opinion that Romney and Obama are 2 evils, and we take no position on who wins the nomination or the presidency. But check yours facts before you accuse us of not reporting the facts. You are entitled to your opinion, but not your own facts.
Have a good day.

My Response:

Eugene,

If you believe that he has that many delegates I think you will be in for a rude awakening. And aside from that, Romney will not have the delegates needed at the convention to achieve the nomination. I would however like to know how you and the msm get that magic 63 number? We wont know for sure how many delegates each candidate has for several more months but the numbers I see are more toward around 300 for Paul.

And I am not entitled to "my" facts? Sir, is it not true that the economy is driven by the American Consumer? Or is your company run solely on special interests these days?

Also, I've wondered for a while now - why doesn't the media report on such news that could be crucial to all of us? Such as the NDAA and CISPA? As a journalist you need to be aware of all the pros/cons and otherwise with these bills. Be vigilant.

You have a good day too.

So far USA Today has added

So far USA Today has added two videos.

I believe what we need to do is assemble a list of all of Dr. Paul's campaign videos & petition USA Today & FactCheck.org to include all of his ads since he was previously completely omitted from the article.

Thank you Michael Nystrom for providing a forum from which we can organize ourselves.

Glad we could make your day Ed and that we could all help Dr. Paul.

Re: USA Today ELIMINATES Ron Paul as a Candidate! (He's on it no

I sent an email to USA today after I saw on the forums that he wasn't on that section of their site. After a few hours they sent the below e-mail to me.

Thanks for calling this oversight to our attention. We have
updated the Ad Tracker to include two ads by the Ron Paul
campaign.
http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/political-ad-tracker/m...

Ad Tracker is an aggregation of all the ad watches that USA
TODAY and FactCheck.org have done on these ads over time. We
are not removing ads from the interactive once a candidate
drops out. Thanks for taking the time to write to us. We
appreciate your feedback.

Do you post and not read?

How about reading some comments in a thread before posting?

They fixed it

They replied to my complaint that they were working on updating and they did.

Same here

I sent an email and they responded with a fix. Pressure works.

In hindsight, it was a bad decision that RP supporters did not listen to my insistence to continue bugging the FOX regarding Andrew Napolitano after he himself asked us to stop (few realized he had to, not because he wanted us to.)

USA is so broken. Hard to find what is fixed.

Yes, "Ron Paul" is listed in the candidate drop down at the top of the page. One would hope that selecting "Ron Paul" would bring up the plethora of video campaign ads sponsored by "Ron Paul" & his campaign. There are two ads that entries for "Ron Paul." There is also one entry for "Ron Paul Campaign" in the "Campaign" drop-down. The same two show up when selecting "Ron Paul Campaign.

The only parties listed are "Democratic & Republican." Independent is list as if it too were national party on par with Rep. & Deomo. Green? Libertarian?

Not enough USA Today

2 ads, not enough...

I want to see "Big dog", "Serial Hypocrisy", "Big, Bold, Texan"..., especially "Texan" - that is an important contest.

Just emailed their partner

Factcheck.org:

"Dear Editor,

The name of your co. and/or website itself implies that you report the "Facts." However, by facts does that mean what you are instructed to report? Your fall preview suggests that it will be a Romney/Obama battle, but the last I checked Ron Paul is still drawing huge crowds and is a very viable contender for the nomination. He also polls better against Obama. It seems like you and the establishment just want to pick the lessor of 2 evils again and not really choose someone that will provide true change and defeat Obama in November. Ron Paul has been proven right time and time again. You may well know that the monetary system will crash and what are you doing to stop that? You are reporting spin, just like the rest of the msm, not facts. Factcheck.org get your facts straight please else you will find yourself boycotted and no one will be listening to you except your buddies and controllers which are merely a handful.

Regards"

I don't think it's strong enough or that they'll care, but just so annoyed at the msm...

However...just two? So enough to keep us quiet?

USA Today updates site

Just got an email from USAToday in response to my email and it's been updated. Nice. Gotta love the free markets and the power of working together.

Only two ads so far and "Plan" doesn't work....

they better add more by the end of the day.

I replied with this:

Why would you include ads for people who have dropped out the race? Huntsman and Perry?

Would you like me to list all his TV ads links for you…there are 27 of them…here’s the play list

all 27 of them were broadcast?

Restricting the page to ads that were broadcast is reasonable.

Were all 27 of these broadcast, or were some web-only?
