Politico: Paul Raised $2.6 Million In March

Here is the article: http://www.politico.com/blogs/burns-haberman/2012/04/paul-ra...

Looks rather positive until the end. They have to spin it by saying "Paul may be in better financial shape than, say, Newt Gingrich, but even his loyal supporters seem to be tiring: the $2.6 million figure is down from $3.3 million in February and $4.5 million in January."

They just can't say that he is still a contender, that his supporters are not giving up, they have to spin the article.

CBS new covers Ron Paul's Fund Raising in a better Light

Money raised is not the issue; this is more than enough

to get the job done. What is lacking is the media not reporting the news when it comes to the Paul Campaign. How dare them to mock the amount of money raised when they totally ignore Dr. Paul! They report the race is over than can't help themselves and print BS like this. They are not even good at playing their own game of "Blackout Ron Paul". Besides, for a campaign funded only by supporters,we are way ahead of all the others and 10 million plus in first quarter contributions (especially in this economy) is nothing to shake a stick at!

hthomas

Ron Paul doesn't have to Pay for "Volunteers " to paint

"home made signs" . Unlike "the front runner" and NewtWOrld Order, he doesn't have to pay people to hold campaign signs either.

Make sure to make a post on Politico while your there

I left 2 of them! One was about the DELEGATE TRACKER..I told the readers to empty their blatters before they read that BS because you would pee your pants in laughter if you didnt! Paul has 63 delegates fellow DP'ers!! OMG! WE HAVE BEEN LIED TOO!! I KNOW he has AT LEAST 64 of them!!! PMPROTFLMAO!! MORE FUEL FOR THE FIRE..DONATE TODAY..its 420 today and there is a money bomb for that as well..and Im giving to it RIGHT NOW..God Bless the Honest Dr!!

10 Million...

That's over ten million in the first quarter.

Stop Spamming the MSM Inboxes they auto-send to trashbin

Nahhh, I would rather call them out. How about you?

I think that is bigger than in 2008

So an improvement

Did anyone vote in the poll on Politico today?

Right now it's a 50/50 toss up between "absolutely" and "forget it" as to whether or not Mitt can win the GOPs confidence in his candidacy, with "possibly" coming in close behind.

Go vote there and send the message to Forget IT!

Absolutely correct!

I could only imagine

The dollar figure to all of the volunteer work that has been done for Ron Paul. Guerrilla marketing, canvassing, passing out literature, door to door, phone from home, all of the artwork all of the songs, blogging, youtube video editing etc etc etc......other campaigns have to pay people to do these things, RP gets it all for free. And I'm sure the dollar figure for the amount of volunteering would far outweigh that of what he gets in donations.

This Is What I'm Talkin' About!!!

The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign announced today that it raised nearly $10.4 million in the first fundraising quarter of 2012, providing it with AMPLE resources to SUSTAIN a 50-state race with establishment-choice Mitt Romney as well as compete DECISIVELY in Congressman Paul’s home state of Texas.

Oh yeahhhhh...

We can't compare the money we

We can't compare the money we raise to that of Obama or Romney. Both of them are taking money from people/corporations going to $38,000 per person events. Their donors are getting bailed out by the government. Most of their donors are establishment donors that give to every Dem and every Rep expecting to get special favors later. Dont let the media fool you into thinking that because our numbers are not where they were in other quarters that we are not fully supporting Ron Paul in other monetary ways.

lol its politico, remember

lol its politico, remember the debate?

Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it. -Ronald Reagan

Tell the Establishment

not to begin celebrations too quickly, we've not been broken yet, and their empire has more then a few cracks!

YA and tell the ESTABLISHMENT

YA and tell the ESTABLISHMENT there is a thing called a $2500 limit which many people have reached which is a LOT different than getting tired..geeze..

Grassroots Should Hang Their Heads in Shame!!!

These figures are an absolute embarrassment for the RP Nation and Grassroots.

The numbers are now declining each and every quarter!!!

Plus over on the Ron Paul Forums the next Money Bomb, "Rise for Liberty" is not planned for another 27 DAYS!!!! (17 May 2012)

The Primary Season will be virtually over by then!!!

We need to have an End of the Month Push for April with a goal of raising another $ 1 Million!!!

Anyone with me?? If so ask the Campaign to keep the Official Campagin Ticker up and send out a Donation E-Mail!!

Missing info

What is also missing from the big picture is the amount of money Ron Paul delegates are spending (out of their own pocket) to attend their County, Congressional & State caucuses. My husband was a delegate to the Denver County convention ($20), where he was elected to both the Congressional & State conventions ($40 & $60). If he had been elected to the National Repub Convention, he would have spent A LOT more.

My point is, don't let the MSM trick you into thinking that Ron Paul supporters aren't donating to his campaign. There are MANY people behind the scenes, getting the national delegates Ron Paul needs to be heard in Tampa.

RON PAUL 2012

And what about Grassroots

Efforts like the Super Brochure, rp2012.org, and all the superpac money... We're still giving till we bleed, there just isn't one place to tabulate it all!

I agree with the last part.. Even if we only raised a little

more to give him another boost.

not a very good figure -

not a very good figure - Obama raised $53 million in March, while Romney $12.6 million, need to collect donation in the rallies !!

What part of corporate shills did you miss up to now about

Romney and Obama? Expecting us to compete with GoldmanKissesSacks is a bit ridiculous.

Are they encouraging people to donate at the rallies?

If everyone attending donates $10-20, and we know some will be willing to give more, that would be at least a $100,000 per state. Pass a hat, a bucket, install laptops that people can walk up to while waiting in line or for the rally to start, and simply click and donate. At one church we visited in Texas, the pastor announced that the church bulletin had a QR code to make it easier for people with smartphones to electronically give their weekly offerings. Could some of the rally organizers look into this? Thanks. Dr. Ron Paul is my President!

If You Did That

Not as many people would show up to the rallies.

We're not talking about entrance fees to the rallies.

I don't think that churches have seen a decline in attendance because people are encouraged to give offerings. People who go to the rallies know that it takes money and manpower to run Dr. Paul's campaign. We also know that he is not backed by the bankers and big businesses. We, the people who have less financial resources, are the ones who are supporting him, and we like it that way. Moral support is fantastic, but a little financial help will keep the campaign on its feet until the end of the race.

Think of it as an investment in your future. Dr. Paul's campaign is a sound investment that will give us untold returns. I started contributing after I saw other people doing it and talking about their small sacrifices in order to have that extra money to give to the campaign. We help encourage each other to keep supporting Dr. Paul when we know that we are not alone in this. Give $5 or $10 and tell someone why you did that. You will plant seeds of hope in someone's heart.

If it's free admission,

I don't see how anyone would feel uncomfortable being asked to donate. The rallys alone seem to be exciting, informative, and entertaining enough to warrant some sort of financial obligation but in this case it would be guilt free and voluntary. It could only benefit the campaign, IMO.

Are you reading this, Jesse, John, and

everybody else hired by the campaign, are you reading this?

And get Ron and his donors in

And get Ron and his donors in trouble with the Federal Election Commission for letting people donate beyond the federal limit? No, I don't think so.

Let's stick to the law, even if it's a bad law, and not give the establishment a chance to use it against us.

= = = =
"Obama’s Economists: ‘Stimulus’ Has Cost $278,000 per Job."

That means: For each job "created or saved" about five were destroyed.

Who said anything about donating beyond the federal limit?

It's all about making it easy and convenient for people to donate money to the campaign. Supporters who attend rallies will most likely think of donating when they are there at the rallies. People like to procrastinate, and a lot are forgetful, if they are not made to realize that time is of great importance. Of course, we are not going to break the law. You seriously think a lot of people are even going to have the money to give the maximum allowable political contribution per individual? The QR code makes the most sense to me if the campaign can manage to use that kind of technology. It will be akin to going online and donating at the registered website, only easier.

That's no article
